I never thought I would have to write a message like this. I am a father of five children, living in Gaza — and we are starving.

We have no food. No clean water. No safety. My children cry from hunger every day, and as their father, my heart breaks because I cannot feed them. I have injuries from Israeli airstrikes, and my health is getting worse, but the worst pain I feel is watching my children suffer without being able to help them.

This is not a famine. This is forced starvation. We are being deprived of food and aid. We are dying slowly, silently.

My name is Ahmed, a father of four. I never imagined I'd be writing something like this. I've always been someone who keeps my worries to myself, someone who believes that even the toughest days can be endured with patience and faith. But now, I'm reaching out—not because I want to, but because I need to.

I'm one of many men in Gaza trying to endure days that seem endless. There was a brief period—a brief truce—when we thought things might begin to heal. The sound of war subsided long enough for us to breathe a sigh of relief. But that moment is over now, and the fear is back, stronger than ever.

My days are filled with doubt, and my nights are filled with prayer. We've lost so much. Our home was destroyed, and our sense of security was taken away. But in the midst of it all, I'm trying to keep going. I'm trying to hold on to whatever little bit of peace I can create with my hands, my words, and my love.

I'm not asking for much. Just a little help to keep our lives from falling apart further. I need to feed my children and provide for their daily needs to help us hold on to our dignity.

Here in Gaza, where children should be holding their parents’ hands on their way to the playground 🎡, they are being carried lifeless to overcrowded hospitals, drenched in their own blood 🩸.

The bakeries are closed 🏚️, food is running out 🍽️, and water is scarce 🚱. For two months, the borders have been sealed 🚧, tightening the grip of starvation and slow death upon us ⚠️. There are no sweets for the children—sometimes, not even a piece of bread 🥖❌. We are not asking for much, just the right to live, to survive 🕊️.

🚨flour is scarce, and hunger is gnawing at my children's stomachs. 🚨‼️

We either die of hunger or bombing

For months, my family and I haven't tasted any fresh vegetables or meat. Obtaining bread has become an impossible task. Hunger has reached the point where we've been forced to sell some of our personal and household belongings, which we acquired after our house was completely demolished, to raise money for our basic needs amid the skyrocketing prices of flour and other scarce goods available in the markets.

The severe restrictions imposed by the Israeli occupation authorities on the entry of humanitarian aid and commercial goods have led to the depletion of everything in the markets and the rise in prices. As a result, famine has "eaten" our bodies. Due to the intense hunger, we eat flour that is infested with weevils and insects.

Our children need milk,Pampers،food،basic needs🙏🏻
