Colin looked very comfortable at Facts, I must say.

Like, he looked like he got dressed in his own closet again. The brown suede boots were back. Basic jeans. Tees and jackets/button downs. Like, there would’ve been points awarded if we were still playing Colin the Shots 😂

As funny as it was when he messed with us, I’m glad to see him go back to the stuff he obviously likes. His comfort and happiness is most important!

And I wanna take this opportunity to say that no, I won’t be reinstating Colin the Shots or anything like it. I’ve been doing a lot of thinking of late and, as much as we enjoy teasing Colin and joking about the things we love about him... it’s still teasing. And even if we do it out of love, it can still make the subject of that teasing feel uncomfortable or self-conscious about things.

Part of the delicate interplay in teasing those you love involves knowing what’s off limits. Knowing what not to tease them about. And that’s what’s missing when we tease Colin. We assume he’s Colin, he’s wonderful and perfect, our silly little jokes could never affect him! But... you know what? I think they could, and what’s more, I think sometimes they do. Because we don’t really know Colin well enough to know what things he’s self-conscious about or what might trigger him to worry about something he might not have otherwise worried about.

But we know enough to know he does worry about things. He does have a tendency to be self-conscious. He’s shy. He’s an introvert. We don’t need to give him anything else to worry about when he has to make unscripted appearances in front of a big ol’ audience. He should wear whatever he wants and not have to worry that anyone’s gonna tease or poke fun (even lovingly!) at his choices.

So what I’m saying is that I’m trying to be a kinder, gentler Colin fan these days. I’m still gonna poke fun, of course, but more carefully and certainly more gently. And I’m still gonna call him Boogerbutt when we’re having a fight, because that’s absolutely no more than what he deserves 😂

Watching the Facts 2022 panel rn and omg, it’s probably such the smallest thing ever, but thank you to the person who asked Colin what his least favorite food was! He replied that he “can’t eat raw to-mah-toes” and he doesn’t know why. Like cooked tomatoes are fine but raw tomatoes make him “feel not great”. Makes a lot of sense considering his love of pizza and italian food.  Wha-? And the silliness continues as he also doesn’t like mayonnaise. The face of ‘oh I probably shouldn’t say this’ that he makes, as if it could cancel him due to controversy, is so funny. BUT he had what I presume was Fish and Chips with homemade mayonnaise and Colin thought it was, and I quote, “the best I’ve ever had with my chips in my life”. Awwww, this man astounds me with the most trivial of things.

Micheal Sheen was originally cast as Crowley

(I will never tire of hearing this 🥰)

Neil Gaiman: The truth is that Michael was meant to have played Crowley. That was where it all began: was me going, 'Who do I know who could be Crowley? Michael Sheen loves the book, Michael would do it.', called Michael, do you want to do it, and he's like, 'Yes!', I thought, 'Great, I have a Crowley.'. So when I started writing the scripts, I was writing them going I know I have - at least I have my Crowley, I have Michael Sheen. And around the middle of Episode 3, I was going, 'This Crowley doesn't really feel a lot like Michael Sheen.', and I wrote this sceen when Crowley comes down the center aisle of a church hopping like a man on a beach on a hot day 'cause it's walking on holy ground and I thought, 'David Tennant would be really good at that, I could get David Tennant.', and then when it was all done I figured I had to break it to Michael, that he wasn't going to be Crowley, that I wanted him to be Aziraphale, and he read the scripts, and we had this really really awkward dinner, that because I was trying to pluck the courage to break it to Michael that I wanted him to play Aziraphale, and Michael was trying to find the way to break it to me that he did not want to play Crowley that he wanted to play Aziraphale having read the scripts. So it was an awful dinner until the end where we just like, 'Oh, you too?! Oh! Oh, good! Well I'm thinking of David Tennant, oh good you like him. Okay.' So it became a lot easier at that moment.

I’m hoping for happy & healthy Colin.

I’m (still) hoping he’ll say why he’s on a break, this time in a way that will get the word out to his fans. I believe that many of his fans can and will keep the home fires burning, so to speak, but they need to know to do so, and maybe why.

I’m hoping he’ll have something coming up, even just a voice role.

I’m always hoping for silly socks and playful Colin antics.

I’m hoping we’ll see lots of Colin smiles to light up our lives ❤️
