everybody stop what you're doing i have a very important update on the fake facial hair situation!!!
he doesn't have a fake moustache. HE HAS FAKE SIDEBURNS

the way pseudoscience is spread on tiktok with just no questioning it is insane. why does every woman on that app who has a bf with a beard that is reddish/lighter than the hair on his head think its because he eats her pussy. and subsequently if he doesnt eat HER pussy then he must be cheating. like very cool fake insecurity you all invented. turns out that actually the hair on different parts of a persons body can be different colors and textures… naturally.. genetically…. and SOMETIMES… those differences only appear with age…. and not bc he started fucking someone else or bc hes “a munch”

I Put a Spell on You
Written for the @steddieangstyaugust prompt “Halloween” | wc: 1,213 | rated: M | cw: minor discussion of the consent and self-determination issues arising from love spells (which do not actually apply to what happens) | tags: attempted magic, halloween costumes, eddie’s self esteem issues, this turned out more humorous (or even cracky) than intended but i figure i was due for a light angst day, happy ending | title from the song by “Screamin’ Jay” Hawkins (though I personally love the version by Creedence Clearwater Revival)
———
Under any other circumstance, Eddie would be thrilled to have an amorous Steve Harrington in his arms, pressing him up against the side of his van and kissing him senseless. Honestly, there is still a part of him that thrills at the contact, but a far greater part of him is too guilty to enjoy the warmth of Steve’s mouth on his.
“Steve, wait,” he gasps between kisses, planting a hand on Steve’s chest to keep him at arm’s length.
Steve frowns at him. It’s a ridiculous look contrasted with the werewolf costume he had put together for that night’s Halloween party, complete with hairy paw gloves and a repurposed fake beard glued onto the sides of his face to simulate overgrown sideburns. “Too much?” he asks with genuine concern.
It takes everything in Eddie not to flinch away from the scratchy fur when Steve raises a hand to cup his cheek. “No, I just– are you sure about this?” He’s not sure what he means by this, exactly, but it definitely includes making out with another guy in full view of whoever is still wandering around Loch Nora at two in the morning. Especially when it’s the weekend before Halloween and they’re dressed as a vampire and a werewolf.
“I really like you and if you feel the same, I wanna see what this can be,” Steve says firmly. “Especially if you let me keep kissing you.” His lips are stained red, courtesy of the fake blood he picked up from Eddie’s mouth, and his cheeks are flushed from alcohol and the exertion of the past few minutes. He’s almost beautiful enough to distract Eddie from his ethical dilemma, but not quite.
“I appreciate that, but did you feel that way before, like, Thursday evening?”
Steve lets go of his face. “That’s a suspiciously specific question,” he observes through narrowed eyes.
“What do you mean?” Eddie keeps his eyes wide, trying to look innocent.
“Eddie.”
It doesn’t take much to make him crack, just a hint of disappointment on Steve’s wolfy face. “I, um.” He scrunches his face up as he searches for the words. “I might have cast a love spell on you?”
Steve, to his credit, doesn’t immediately burst out laughing. Another worrying bit of evidence pointing to the spell’s success, maybe, but he mostly looks incredibly confused. “What are you talking about?”
“I found this book at the library,” Eddie confesses miserably. “About magic. And of course I didn’t think it would actually work, but I had to try it, you know? For science or whatever. So I cast a love spell on you, and now you’re here,” Eddie waves a hand at him, “and you’re suddenly into me.”
Steve’s frown gets even deeper, if possible. “You know how insane that sounds, right?”
Eddie really regrets slicking his hair back with gel to complete his fancy vampire look. The urge to fidget with it is especially strong right now. “Yeah, obviously it doesn’t make sense. It’s magic.”
“It’s not real!” Steve exclaims, throwing his paws in the air in exasperation.
“Steve, look at the evidence here. It’s Friday night– or Saturday morning, I guess– and it’s the first time we’ve seen each other since I did the spell on Thursday. You expect me to believe that you genuinely want to be my boyfriend and the timing of this was a coincidence? I mean, the odds are practically zero!”
Steve is blinking at him like he’s trying to understand a foreign language, but his smile is fond when he says, “I didn’t do great in Stats, but I’m pretty sure the fact that you just described exactly what happened makes the odds, like, a hundred percent.”
That’s not how probability works but Eddie isn’t sure he can explain why while he’s tipsy and distraught, so he ignores that statement. “And it doesn’t matter if you say you already wanted to be my boyfriend. The whole point of a love spell is that it makes you think you’re in love. Maybe that’s a retroactive effect! Maybe if it worked, you would just think that you’ve had a crush on me this whole time!” Eddie is sort of shouting by the end. Good thing Steve’s neighbors are so far away.
“Eddie.” Oh god, Steve’s eyes are sad now. He’s probably about to explain how this insane violation of his free will makes Eddie a shit person (which, yeah, he’s aware) or argue that he stole Steve’s chance to fall in love for real (also very hard to refute).
“I’m sorry, okay, it was supposed to just… do nothing. That’s why I knew I could test the book by doing this. Because if you showed any interest in me, which would never happen in a million years without magical intervention, it would be proof that the spell worked.” Eddie spreads out his arms as if to say ta-da! “And now here we are. I totally understand if the whole mind control aspect of this, like, ruins our friendship, ‘cause I’m sure that would be a dealbreaker for me–”
Steve covers Eddie’s mouth with one of his giant furry gloves. “Eddie. I’m going to ask you something. It might be hard for you to answer, but I want you to try, okay?” He waits for Eddie to nod before removing his hand. He looks Eddie dead in the eye and calmly poses his question. “Why do you think it would be impossible for me to like you of my own free will?”
“I mean, I guess it’s technically possible? Just super unlikely and even demonstrably false.”
Steve rests his paws on his hips. “I think you know what I mean.”
“Steve, stop trying to spin this into being okay! I know I fucked up but I’ll undo it as soon as I can. I owe you a huge apology.”
“No,” Steve shakes his head, which makes his lupine sideburns rustle. “No, that’s actually the complete opposite of what I’m trying to tell you here. I like you. Really! You’re smart and fun, and I love how creative you are and how you want to help people and even how fucking self-sacrificing you are.” He puts his hands over the exaggerated shoulders of Eddie’s vampire cape. “That’s all because of you, not some stupid spell.”
“Oh.” All Eddie can do is stand there, hoping the tears in his eyes don’t spill over and smear his makeup. “Really?”
Steve laughs. “I’ve only been trying to ask you out since August!”
That makes Eddie snort, mostly at his own obliviousness. “Give me a break! I had just relearned how to walk in August, I was a little busy.”
“If you need something to do that doesn’t involve fake magic library books, I might be able to help,” Steve jokes with a crooked grin. “That is, if it’s okay to kiss you again?”
“Blanket permission, as long as you forget this ever happened.” Eddie wraps his arms around Steve’s waist and pulls him close again.
“Mm, I don’t think so.” Steve tilts his head to kiss Eddie. It’s not as frantic as it was earlier, now that Eddie isn’t panicking about the moral implications of intimate activity under the influence of a love spell.
Somehow it’s even better.

“This is Secret Santa, you’re only supposed to get a gift for one person,” you sigh, currently inundated with a pile of presents on your lap and by your feet. “What’s all this?”
“Correction, bella, this is Secret Satan where you get as many gifts for whomever you like, sì? And you’re our star this year.”
Terzo smiles warmly at you as you fidget with the fabric of your festive dark green velvet skirt. You’ve all gathered in the Papas’ private living room, the mantle of the roaring fireplace positively bedecked with greenery and a massive tree opposite. A couple weeks ago you and Copia were put in charge of creating the orange garland, a not insignificant task given the height and breadth of the noble fir. Speaking of Copia, he is sitting in a deep leather armchair, stroking his mustache thoughtfully and giving you a funny look. When you give him an exaggerated wink his lips curl into a smile and his eyes dart away as his cheeks flush.
“Another cup, signorina?”
Primo is currently standing next to the hot plate on the side table, stirring the large cauldron of mulled wine. You really shouldn’t, you already are feeling a little woozy and warm but what the hell. Christmas, right? Or Yule, rather. You nod eagerly and Primo doles out a hefty amount of the dark liquid into a mug with little rats on it, passing it to Secondo who passes it to you as Terzo hands you yet another gift to open. So far you’ve unwrapped a beautiful homemade perfume from Primo and a garnet jewelry set which you are sure is quite old and quite expensive from Terzo. Copia still clings to the small present on his lap that bears a tag with your name on it, unwilling to see it in your hands just yet. One of these presents alone would be more than enough to dazzle you but the Papas insist on spoiling you. Who are you to object?
“This one is from me,” Secondo says, smiling slightly sinisterly over the rim of his mug.
“Ominous, but okay,” you say as you unwrap the box with caution. When you gingerly open the lid and see what’s inside, you let out an undignified screech. Primo, Terzo, and Copia exchange alarmed expressions as you reach in and lift the stuffed creature from its confines to marvel at it. It’s positively hideous - a large round potato-like head, red vestments, even a glittering pectoral grucifix. You’re beaming.
“Is that supposed to be me?” Copia says, outraged and red-faced.
“He’s perfect,” you coo, holding him against you in a tight hug. “Look at his stupid little face!”
“Ah, sì, he looks just like you,” Terzo says with a grin.
“He–it–looks nothing like me. No mustache. No sideburns. Eyes are all wrong!”
“He’s beautiful,” you say, cradling the monstrosity in your arms with all the grace of Mary. “Thank you Secondo.”
“I made him myself, you know.”
“A man of many talents!”
“A man of many war crimes,” Copia growls from his spot, flinging himself backwards in his chair and crossing his arms.
“Don’t speak about our son that way!” you cry, pressing your palms to the ears of the small stuffed man.
“Our son?” Copia cocks his head with interest and the brothers all look at you in silence.
“Y-yes. He looks - mostly - like you and I am his mother. Therefore we are his parents. So step up.”
When you reach out to hand the stuffed cardinal to the real thing, he sighs and takes it in his hands.
“He is infernal,” Copia says, placing him sitting up on his lap. “But I accept him as mine.” The sight makes you scramble for your phone to take as many pictures as possible.
“What a beautiful family moment,” Terzo says, wiping a fake tear from his cheek. “Copia, I think you’re the only one left who hasn’t exchanged presents!”
Handing the doll back to you he hesitates to reach for the gift still in his lap. Primo, ever wise, interrupts to ask if anyone wants dessert while you reach down and grab the present you’ve brought for Copia. Terzo and Secondo haul themselves up with much grumbling and follow Primo out of the room to help.
“I thought you said you were only bringing a present for one person? Primo was who you drew, sì?”
“Yeah I know but,” you scoot your chair closer to him, “you’re special. You’ve been on my side since day one. I couldn’t not get you something. You mean too much to me.”
Copia blushes the fiercest shade of red you’ve seen yet as you hand him the heavy package.
“Grazie, cara mia,” he says quietly, mismatched eyes boring earnestly into yours.
“Don’t thank me yet, you haven’t opened it.”
With a smile he begins unwrapping the festive paper. When he finishes and sees what is inside his heart jumps.
“Dolcezza,” he breathes and you blush just as fiercely as him at the nickname, “this is wonderful.”
It had taken you a lot of time and a lot of money (worth every cent as far as you are concerned) to locate an antique facsimile of William Blake’s art. Admittedly, you had used a lot of the Ministry’s excellent resources to find it but all the effort was worth it for this moment. When Copia looks up at you, you swear there are tears in his eyes.
“I have never before received a gift such as this, cara. Thank you.”
When you reach out and cover his gloved hand with yours and squeeze firmly, it’s as if his whole body sinks into itself. Softly, he picks up your hand and brings it to his lips - a sweet echo of his action from the first day you met. It takes everything within you not to knock all the items out of Copia’s lap and climb in it yourself. In all honesty, you’re moments away from doing just that when the Papas return to the room with much clamor. Your heart sinks as Copia drops your hand and clears his throat, and you return to your chair from your half-risen position. When Copia looks at you and points to the small box next to him, you mouth the words “later” with a smile before accepting a comically large slice of yule log from Secondo. The rest of the evening is relatively quiet apart from the dueling rendition of “Carol of the Bells” that Secondo and Terzo fight over while Primo sleeps contentedly in his comfy armchair. When the Papas begin loudly arguing in Italian you signal to Copia and begin gathering your things in a large brown bag. Without a word the two of you slip out the door and when you hear a crash and Primo’s deep bellow ringing out you skitter away down the hall.
“Looks like we made it out just in time,” you giggle as the two of you finally slow.
“Eh, sì, it always ends like this,” Copia says with a huff and an eye roll, “they can’t help themselves.”
Copia is unaware of where he is standing but oh, you certainly are. This looks like a perfect place to stop.
“Not trying to be pushy but I think you were going to give me something?” you say, cocking your head and setting down your bag.
“Ah…yes,” he sets down the book you gifted him and thrusts out his hand with the fastidiously wrapped present within it. “For you.”
You take the gift and open it delicately and slowly and see him chew on his bottom lip slightly.
“If you don’t like it I–”
“Hush,” you say simply as you open the box. Inside, resting on dark red velvet is a simple and small golden grucifix on a delicate matching chain.
“You always wanted to be a part of the Ministry,” he says quietly, fussing with his gloves, “and I hope this lets you know that we accept you. We’ve always accepted you. I–”
You remain silent as you set down the box and put the necklace on while Copia watches. When you finish your hands don’t return to your sides but rather come up to cradle the Cardinal’s cheeks. He’s frozen as you stand just like this, thumbs brushing against his sideburns and a look on your face that he doesn’t think he has the capacity to describe. Your cheeks positively glow, your eyes seem lit from within and your lips are curled into a soft smile. They part momentarily for you to take a deep, steadying breath - inhale, exhale - before you lean forwards and gently place your lips on his. The ground shifts beneath him, the world is spinning as the fingers of your right hand begin to slide along his jaw and you tilt your head. You hesitate only for a moment, pulling back slightly before Copia grabs you insistently by the back of the head and pushes his lips back against yours. He tastes of mulling spices and his mustache tickles your upper lip, as you always knew it would. When you finally need to catch your breath he barely relinquishes his grip on you, making you laugh and kiss his chin.
“Why,” he whispers, thumb running against your cheekbone. “Why me?”
You lean forward and rest your head against his chest, close enough to hear the thud of his heart.
“It was always you,” you murmur, wrapping your arms around his waist and stroking his back. “Always. From the moment you kissed my hand the day I was hired to the moment you comforted me when I was sad and lonely. From the moment you shared your rats with me. From the moment you put me to bed when I was drunk. All of it, Copia. All of you. That’s why.”
When you pull back to look at him, there’s definitely no mistaking the tears in his eyes this time and when he frantically pulls you in for another kiss, you can feel the wetness on your own cheeks. When you pull away with a giggle he looks concerned.
“Amore mio, what is it?”
You point upwards to the healthy sprig of mistletoe hanging from the rafter.
“You had no idea did you,” you say with a grin, chin resting on his sternum.
“Who would? Who could even see that and in the dark I–” his words cut off as you gasp from the short sharp smack to your ass.
“Copia! Not in front of our child!” you chastise, reaching into the bag and pulling out the accursed doll.
“Ugh, I had forgotten about him,” Copia grouses as you take it and peck him on the cheek with it.
“What should we name him?” you muse, adjusting the doll’s pellegrina.
“I’m sure you’ll think of something suitably horrific,” he smiles, pressing a kiss to your forehead which you lean into eagerly. “Until then…shall I, eh, walk you back to your rooms?”
“Please,” and with one last long, lingering kiss with the odd cardinal doll squished between the two of you, you pick up your bag and continue the long walk back to your cozy bed with the Satanic cardinal you hoped would soon be in it.

Greasepaint and Spirit Gum (Final Fantasy VI)
"It's a little early for a celebratory drink, isn't it?"
Edgar gave his brother a sharp look as he uncorked the bottle. "Don't be an ass. It's for removing the spirit gum."
Sabin smiled unapologetically. The castle's machinery rumbled around them.
"It was quite a disguise," Celes said slowly.
Using a brandy-soaked handkerchief, Edgar scrubbed at his face. "You should have seen the earlier versions. Much more elaborate. Monocles. Eye patches. Red hair. Sideburns. A truly dashing scar."
Celes nodded, suspiciously solemn. "The fake nose was a nice touch."
Edgar stopped scrubbing. "What? The nose wasn't fake. What?"
Sabin laughed.

Tips for a red fox, lynx, black wolf and harpy eagle therian
Requested by: Anon
General tips
Try doing quadrobics. Many of your theriotypes walk in four legs, so trying quads may help you feel more connected to them.
Mimic your fur/feathers with clothes. Using elements like color and texture.
Try doing vocals. Most of this theriotypes are known for their vocals.
Buy (or make) and use gear if comfortable. Either ears, tails and even wings or a beak.
For a red fox
Make foods that include berries and chicken. Chicken are a favorite for foxes, and they are known for being omnivores.
Buy cat toys for yourself. Cat toys may mimic some of the pray foxes usually hunt, like mice.
If comfortable (for both parties) try scaring some of your friends or family hiding in different places, placing little traps and sneaking from behind. Foxes are known for their cunning and intelligence. So this could be a fun game to reflect that.
For a lynx
Get a little bit of fake fur and stick it to the tips of your ears. To mimic those lynxes have.
Use big and strong boots to mimic their paws.
Grow your sideburns to mimic the "beard" of lynxes.
For a black wolf
Pretend you are in a pack. You can use just daydreaming or imaginative play with toys. If you have friends, you could also make a pack with them, either online via roleplay, or in real life through play.
Try some makeup that makes you feel wolf-like. You can paint a nose or use some eyeliner.
Watch videos of wolves and/or their pray. This could lead to unwanted shifts though.
For a harpy eagle
Listen to ambient sounds of rainforests. This is the habitat of these eagles.
Make paper claws. Harpy eagles have big claws that you could mimic with paper.
Use long, flowy clothes to mimic their feathers. Especially gray clothes. You can also use gray handkerchiefs in your hair to mimic the feathers these eagles have on their heads.

How in the hell do people put with with Richard? He is so annoying always interupting people and he wrecked that red carpet. He is not funny at all. I can't stand his character but I think it's b.c he's so annoying. Sophie looked good but really thin not that she was big before . To me Sam seemed not in it and Caitriona seemed clingy or touchy to him. Did you notice it? Do you know, Is the new bleached hair boy suppose to be her assistant?
I noticed that Sam was a bit subdued. He wasn't as chipper and 'free' as the night before. I mentioned my reasons for thinking that in an early Anon response. Caitriona was very touchy feely, almost as though she doesn't have a certain sideburn clad husband fake fathering her child. Lol. Tony who? Where was Tony? His absence clearly notable. Not even available for assistant duties this time, so they brought in another gay bag holder this time with bleached hair which seems to be all the rave this promo.
Tumblr media
Richard doesn't bother me so much. I think he does have a good sense of humour. It's Sophie that is the wet blanket. She bothers me as does her character.

Hey! How would y'all like to hear another rambling from me?
So, for those that are aware of the Pokemon anime, you all know about this thing called Battle Bond.
For those that don't know: Battle Bond is a transformation that first debuted in XYZ, and was displayed when Ash and his newly-evolved Greninja's friendship reached it's maximum possible potency(No, I didn't stutter, I said potency), and resulted in a new transformation, creatively named Ash-Greninja(Or Satoshi-Gekkouga for those watching the sub).
Here's what Greninja looks like:
Tumblr media
I'm sure that the Kalos Fans really like this big guy. Not that I blame 'em. He's really cool, it's no wonder why he's in Smash. Also, I'm pretty sure this is a screenshot from Journeys, but that's besides the point.
...And then there's Ash Greninja:
Tumblr media
The man, the legend, the absolute gigachad. Like, he's just the embodiment of cool. Literally all that was added was sideburns(And a few sunburns), and my mans went from S1 Deku to Titan Luz on the Badass-o-Meter. The embodiment of cool, this rare Greninja wields a large shuriken on his back at all times, instead of having to constantly create new ones on his legs. This is the same pressurized water that is known to slice through metal, btw.
"That's cool and all, but what's your point in mentioning this?" you may be asking, and I'm getting to that. Greninja is the only known Pokemon with Battle Bond as an Ability. Well...
Why can't there be more?
Why is this frog the only Pokemon that can become a cooler version of itself?
There are a lot of Pokemon that could really benefit from Battle Bond, but I'll stick with just one for now, with tidbits of lore sprinkled here and there(Based on some headcannons that I've had, and I'll be taking some creative liberties). If this post makes its rounds(Also, when I come up with more Pokemon that could use Battle Bond), I'll add more Pokemon to the list, and I'm going to display how humans can play a bigger part in this whole shebang.
Feraligatr... We love it, at least a third of us had used one before, it's awesome, right? This Pokemon, like many others, needs a bit more love, and I think that this is a solid place to start. I don't have an image of my concept design on me right now(I drew the image already, but I'm having yet more technical issues), but I can provide a reason for this existing.
In my headcannon, Feraligatr is a Pokemon that has existed for a long, long time, dating at least to the first Ice Age. As a result, this Pokemon has spent a fair amount of time around humans, traveling with them when hunting was involved. Many humans would acknowledge this fact, and begin working with Feraligatrs as a result. A very small few would be able to connect to them on a closer level, and this would cause a change within the Pokemon, and some names that are completely accepting some revisions.
In this form, Feraligatr completely embraces its roots, and dawns a much thicker extra layer of scales in the color and shape of a pelt from another animal/Pokemon, similarly to Croconaw, along with extra padding across the limbs and tail, all of it functioning both for warmth and as a disguise. The spines running across it's back are a deep, blood-red and are much more jagged, as a way to continue attacking its opponents if/when its in a tough spot. To bait its opponents/prey into a false security, they will fake their own death while exposing the bright-red streaks on their torso. When they approach, the Feraligatr will suddenly leap up and clamp its prey with its jaws, waiting for their bodies to give in to blood loss/fatigue, where they will finish them off.
Amber Apex Feraligatr(Based on it's intended trainers to reawaken this form: Gold, or Ethan if you're a HGSS kinda person) will have sharper, longer claws, with the ability to reinforce them with ice or pressurized water at will, alongside being able to materialize ice anywhere in their field of vision, appropriately being given the Water/Ice typing.
The signature move it has is Glacier Barrier, an Ice-type move. It functions similarly to Protect, with a fun twist. If the opponent makes contact with the user while its in effect, it will give them frostbite, cutting their Speed stat while causing small, continuous damage over time. This effect remains in place until the user or the opponent switches out. If the move fails, the user becomes Frozen for two turns, unable to perform any action, not even being able to return to its Poke Ball in that time.
A busted move, but there's a clear-cut a reason not to spam it. That checks out, right?
Now, onto the humans, another big topic in this post.
It seemed kinda weird that the games mention that humans fight alongside Pokemon, with the anime literally confirming that... but don't ever show it happening. Like, I get that games like Pokken exist, and they're technically cannon, but that game in particular sorta relies on something similar to Battle Bond anyways.
Back to my main point, why can't humans have transformations, as well? I'm not saying like, physical changes to them or anything like Pokemon ReBurst(God, that manga feels like a fever dream, check it out sometime), but something like... aura manipulation. Pokemon like Lucario pretty much confirmed that aura can manifest in a physical state. Like, one you can touch, feel, and get whacked upside the head with. Better yet, it can take a form depending on the user's wants and/or needs.
So, it makes sense that, if their Pokemon is the only thing they can think about during combat, surely their aura would take the form of the Pokemon in question, especially if that Pokemon is their ace!
I'm guessing that it'd look something like Naruto's Kurama Link form(Or whatever it's called, I never really kept track with the series), but like, if someone hue-shifted the heck out of it.
Tumblr media
I'm sorry if this looks awful, but this is the furthest my latent ability of Photoshop carries me, please don't flame me T-T
Obviously, it wouldn't always be blue. I always hated how the anime basically told you that all human auras were blue, yet Mystery Dungeon literally contradicts this. The color of the aura would based on the human's personality or, in rare cases where the Pokemon's aura overpowers their own, it would take on the color of the Pokemon's aura, or overall color scheme in some situations. If there are multiple colors, it'd be the two most prominent colors, the less dominant between the two simply being a highlight.
In many cases, it could function as a sort of failsafe if a Pokemon or human is in danger of dying, of course only triggering in that context if they've had the best of best of best friendships. And, with enough training, it could even be triggered on command! ...Well, kind of. It's more like the transformation would take less effort to both sense it arriving and activate, but it is overall near-impossible to really use whenever you want. Just... not impossible.
Something else that, while it might be a stretch, could also be really cool, is the idea of the human gaining the abilities of a Pokemon. Again, not physical alterations(At least, on the body itself), but you'd gain the skills and more "passive" abilities of your partner. For example, if you triggered the Bond Phenomenon with something like, I dunno... Samurott, or dare I say, Zacian, you'd gain their expert swordsmanship, meaning that you'd wanna carry a sword on you at all times just in case you need it. Another example of this would be something like Absol. If you were to activate the transformation with that Pokemon, you'd gain its future sight abilities(Something more like Sir Nighteye, if that helps).
And something else would be that you could help a Pokemon with the handling of a move. While we're speaking of Naruto anyway, let's use Noivern as an example(Naruto would totally be a Noivern, fight me). If a Noivern was using something like Shadow Ball, their Trainer would be able to help them keep it stable while using the Bond Phenomenon, since Noiverns aren't well-adept at using Ghost-type moves. They wouldn't be able to add anything to it, as humans obviously can't use moves like Pokemon, but their aura would be more than enough to keep the Shadow Ball in a spherical shape.
It would be pretty awesome, right? These were all the examples I could think of at the moment, but I'd love to hear some suggestions and other practicalities this transformation could have. Heck, I'd like to see some of your trainer OCs with a transformation like this, if your're willing to show me anything.

🛌 🙌 💖 !!
ohhhh some good ones~~ thank you!
from this ask game
🛌 What's a trope you haven't written, but want to?
Usually if there's a trope i want to explore, I will just do it. But I did mention I haven't played much in the fake dating or one bed space enough, particularly as someone who's fond of reading those tropes!
🙌What's a line or paragraph of yours that you're proud of?
oh no this is the third time ive gotten this question and now i have to find a third piece of writing i'm proud of?? I'm going to leave the ML fandom for a minute and dip back into old HP stuff. I am very, very, very proud of the scene in the forest where Harry uses the stone. the "brave for a moment" line came to me while driving and I used my notes app voice to text to jot it down immediately and held onto it for literal years until i reached the ending of this absurd project
A ghostly, human-like shape appeared before Harry. It glowed bluish-white at its centre, and the light seemed to harden into the details of a figure who was not especially familiar to Harry, but conjured up the feeling of grief all the same. Peter Pettigrew, round-faced, wide, with teeth a bit too large for his small smile, and scraggly, unkempt sideburns on the side of his face that were a bit like whiskers appeared before Harry. He did not look as he had in Regulus’ memories, but Harry could still see the traces of that insecure boy in this ghostly shape. And, as Harry remembered all the bits he knew of Peter Pettigrew — that he enjoyed chess, that he was as strategic as Remus, that he had been afraid of the war, that he had stood between Voldemort and James — the ghostly shape took on colour, much like a photograph being painted. Pink bloomed in his cheeks and red filled in the dark cuffs of his sleeves. He did not look alive, exactly, but he no longer looked lifeless. Peter Pettigrew sucked in a deep breath, and his heavy cheeks quavered as he let it out. “You really do look like your father,” he said. Harry swallowed. He had half-expected Dumbledore, but he supposed if it had been Dumbledore, he would not have had the strength to finish this task. “I know I have to go, but…” Harry bit down on his lip, afraid to give a voice to his fears. He had learned bravery from his parents, and he had also learned that a lot of bravery came from silencing fear. Peter seemed to understand, and Harry remembered that Peter had been a Marauder just as James, Sirius, and Remus. He must have known the same sort of bravery and mischief that Harry had spent his entire life surrounded by. “You only have to be brave for a moment,” Peter said. Harry’s breath caught in his throat. He could do that. He could be brave for a moment.
💖 Which of your fics is your pride and joy?
Oh no. This is like asking me to choose a favorite child; I love them all! But also... i have concerns about each one too.
Like, it's hard to say that Gryffindor Blood is my pride and joy because it's a Harry Potter fic. And I'm not proud of my HP fics because I'm in no way proud of HP. I am, however, very proud of how much I grew as a writer because of the HP Everyone Lives project. I'm proud of the friends I made because of that project. I'm proud of the commitment I achieved because of that project.
If I had to pick a fic I love unequivocally, I think it would be On the Outside Looking In, the Hans redemption fic I wrote back in 2014. I had a blast fleshing out the characters for that short fic. It's not my best writing, but I had a good time doing it.

Unverified (I'm colourblind, sooooo) observation courtesy of my sister: apparently Crowley's sideburns, besides changing lengths, are sometimes red to match his hair and sometimes David's regular brown. In her words, on seeing 2×02 (she was complaining about the sideburn variations after 2×01, so I explained the official Doctor Who reason to her) "And they forgot to dye them too", only to say when she saw 2×03 "OK, now they're red". Not at all sure, so definitely check in the other direction as well if you do decided to check, but I *think* they were short when she said they were brown and long when she said red, which would make the Doctor Who line fall apart completely.
oh anon please this is dragging me back into the watery depths of scrutinising crowley's sideburns until my eyes go funny 🫠✨ im perfectly willing to accept im wrong, but ive never been convinced that the sideburns thing is down to the DW schedule, a) because the dates don't match up, afaik, and b) fake hair exists???
as for the sideburns going brown; my initial thought process is leaning towards it being down to dt's roots coming through (same as michael's, bless), and certain scenes being filmed out of sequence... i will need to rewatch and duly report back!!! but in any case, it makes it even more suspect that if he does have altering-coloured sideburns, even if just down to the roots growing out, it only makes the whole short/long sideburns thing all the more suggestive???
thanks be to yourself and your sister for pointing it out, and dragging me kicking and screaming back to speculating on the batshit time-travel theory 🥂 (lbr i never left)

You know what, fuck it. I'm going to rank every character in ofmd based on how hot they are, in terms of both appearance and personality. I'd like to offer a preemptive apology to Ed and Stede likers because this is not kind to them.
#1: Izzy - 9.95/10
Tumblr media
Obviously he's my number one. He isn't quite perfect; I had to give him a 9.9 on looks for his flat ass. He does get a 10/10 for personality though, because he's literally exactly like me and I'm a narcissist.
#2: Calico Jack - 9.5/10
Tumblr media
He's a 10/10 for looks and a 9/10 for personality. I love the mustache so much and while the whole frat bro vibe might get kind of annoying eventually, at least he's fun.
#3: Ivan - 9/10
Tumblr media
9/10 for both looks and personality. I love men who are quiet and just kind of stand there without really doing anything, and what little things he does say or do are great.
#4: Frenchie - 8.5/10
Tumblr media
Frenchie's an easy 9/10 for personality; he's just a chill guy. He's an 8/10 for looks; his beard isn't on the level of Jack's mustache but he still looks good.
#5: Fang - 8.5/10
Tumblr media
I love the beard, the headband, the open vest; everything about him is so hot, 10/10. He's a bit too expressive for me; I prefer men who are totally repressed, so he gets a 7/10 for personality.
#6: Mr. Buttons - 8/10
Tumblr media
He gets an 8/10 for looks; I love the beard and the long hair paired with the bald spot. It's hard to give him a score for personality but I'll give him an 8/10 because he can talk to birds.
#7: Wee John - 8/10
Tumblr media
I love the beard and tattoos; he's an 8/10 for looks. He doesn't really do much which earns him an 8/10 for personality too.
#8: Black Pete - 8/10
Tumblr media
He kind of looks like my dad but if I set that aside he gets an 8/10 for looks; I just want to slap his bald head. I kind of love how pathetic it is that he's constantly telling obviously fake stories that nobody believes so he's also an 8/10 for personality.
#9: Roach - 7.5/10
Tumblr media
He's good at baking and completely unhinged so he's a 9/10 for personality. He would get a higher score for appearance but he's only a 6/10 because smoking isn't sexy.
#10: Jim - 7/10
Tumblr media
They're an easy 10/10 for personality. I love the way they look with the fake beard, but if I'm judging them without it I'll give them a 4/10.
#11: Lucius - 6.5/10
Tumblr media
I'm sorry, the sideburns just do not do it for me, so he's only a 6/10 for appearance. He's mostly cool but also kind of annoying so I'll give him an 7/10 for personality.
#12: Oluwande - 6/10
Tumblr media
He would look nice if it weren't for the crocs and whatever that shirt is, which drag him down to a 6/10. He's also just too nice for my tastes, so he's a 6/10 for personality too.
#13: Doug - 5.5/10
Tumblr media
He looks alright I guess but he's a little too boring for me, 6/10. He's also way too nice and supportive; good for Mary but I could never. 5/10 for personality.
#14: Chauncey Badminton - 5.5/10
Tumblr media
I know he and Nigel are twins but the bald look puts Chauncey a little bit ahead at a 8/10. For personality he gets a 3/10, because "guy who's driven homicidally insane after the guy he bullied as a kid kills his brother" is kind of hot in a fucked up way.
#15: Spanish Jackie - 5/10
Tumblr media
I'm gay, so she gets a 0/10 on looks even though she does slay in that red velvet. If I was into women she would definitely be a 10/10 though. And of course she's a 10/10 for personality.
#16: Mary - 5/10
Tumblr media
Still gay, so again a 0/10 on looks, but we stan a woman who tries to kill her husband so that's a 10/10 for personality.
#17: Evelyn - 5/10
Tumblr media
Once again not into women, so 0/10 for looks. And do I even need to say it? Of course she's a 10/10 for personality.
#18: The Swede - 2.5/10
Tumblr media
He's a 5/10 for appearance; he doesn't look bad, but he doesn't really do it for me either. I completely forgot about him until I saw him in the background of a gif so I think that's an automatic 0/10 for personality. Sorry :(
#19: Nigel Badminton - -1.5/10
Tumblr media
He's awful but he is kind of hot. -10/10 for personality, 7/10 for looks.
#20: Stede - -1.5/10
Tumblr media
He's a solid 7/10 for looks but a -10/10 for personality. Don't get me wrong, I love him, but I also despise him and he's literally the worst (besides Ed).
#21: Ed - -499999996.5/10
Tumblr media
Yeah sorry, he's last. He's a 10/10 on looks (with the beard; he's a 4/10 without it), but he's a -1000000000/10 for personality. It feels like the writers were deliberately trying to create the most annoying character possible to me personally. I was too distracted by how hot he was to really notice at first but now every time I rewatch the show I start to hate him even more.
