I’ve been putting off doing a Mason piece for awhile, but he’s my favorite boss in Nuka world so I finally got around to it :3

Nuka-World Leaders With A Child!Overboss

Mags Black will treat you the kindest because she thinks she'll get a better payout if she does. She's always making the Operators give you cute new hairstyles in the hopes that you'll favor them over the other gangs. She'll coo and dote on you and your well-being, fixing you up with better gear so you're better equipped for the waste. After a while, she might genuinely start to view you as her younger sibling. It'll be apparent through the ways she hits your shoulder when you say something a bit impolite, or how she pushes you behind her when you're threatened.

William Black is fairly cold toward you. He doesn't understand why his sister took a liking to you so quickly when you were sure to die any second now. However, he'll fall into the role of 'older brother' once Mags gets more and more attached to you. It's a natural occurrence — if his sister considers you to be a part of the family, then he's bound to as well.

Nisha wants to slaughter Gage the second you're announced as the overboss. You being in charge makes all the other gangs look like a joke and she's not going to stand around and wait to be humiliated. However, she does give it a chance (albeit reluctantly). She'll wait to hear about your return once you left with Gage to take over Kiddie Kingdom, and when you come back alive and with the park in your possession, she'll warm up quickly. She'll approach you herself, crouching down to see you eye to eye as she promises you she won't let you die, and if you wanted, she'd gladly replace Gage for you. The rest is up to you, but one thing's for certain — you have her protection, and she'd be damned if there wasn't at least one Disciple around to be a second bodyguard along with Gage.

Mason thinks you're a riot and always has you kidnapped brought to the Ampihteater to see how far he and the Pack can take you before you start getting scared of the raider gangs. It won't be anything bad, just having you watch the animals maim each other in the ring or forcing you to participate in putting collars on the slaves. He stops once with Gage or Mags tell him off, even if he thinks it ruins the fun. Once you start claiming areas of the park, he'll start treating you with a lot more respect than before. He'll call you over to celebrate with him and the Pack where he'll throw you on his shoulders and give you whatever you ask for. He's like the frat bro of the four and always tries to get you hammered with him while the Black twins aren't watching.

How would Nuka Leaders, Kent Connolly, and Kellogg react to John Wick as SS?

Mags:

• As anyone would be, very impressed.

•Pretty vocal about her admiration for your skill, even more so if you use it to bring some serious caps flowing…which she has no doubt you can and will do.

•Might even develop a little thing for you honestly..

Nisha:

•on the contrary to a previous point..not so impressed. She won’t lie, your skills are satisfactory but the more methodical approach isn’t her thing.

•Honestly? It just isn’t easy to get her favor.

Mason:

•he’s a bit more intimidated than anything else…BUT he will not be admitting that. Very uncool of him.

•Might try to “showboat” his own prowess but it’s secretly to see if you’ll notice.

Kent:

•The whole idea of you being a hero is just perfect! You have the abilities of a comic character stepping right out of the page.

How would Nuka World react to John Wick as SS? (Colter killed his dog and is here to fuck shit up)

COLTER

The Overboss is on the verge of shitting his own pants seeing this steaming ball of pure rage deduced to one person. They weren’t in the arena to kill him and take over, nor were they here to rid the world of filthy raiders. Sole had one motive and one motive only — revenge.

MASON

“You never kill a man’s dog. Number one rule.” Mason shakes his head, knowing the Overboss was done for.

NISHA

She was bored with the scene before her. A revenge ploy was overplayed in her mind. The only thing that will interest her in this battle is the blood spill, especially that of Colter’s. He was a dead man for sure and that thought alone excited her.

MAGS & WILLIAM BLACK

“See the drive in that person. That’s our next Overboss.” Mags chuckles to herself, speaking to her brother.

William shakes his head and laughs along with her. They were both tired of Colter, so no matter the drive of this person in the arena, the were glad for it. “Heard it was over their mutt. Can you believe that?”

GAGE

Though a bit annoyed at first that he didn’t have time to discuss his well-thought out plan with the newcomer to overthrow Colter; once seeing the survivor he could tell they didn’t need his assistance. He instead decided to sit back and enjoy the show of a person seeking vengeance for their sweet puppy and Colter facing their well-deserved wrath.

Random Headcanons (Mainly Fallout and The Outer Worlds) Part 1

Deacon:

Deacon doesnt like people touching him though he will touch other people. Pats on the shoulder after a job went a little sideways, Slight elbow nudge to the arm when he thinks someone should take over the conversation, even a high five for a job well done. "Hey High-five! Whoops, too slow!"

He also cant handle seeing his own reflection. No matter how many face changes he gets he still sees the person he used to be. The person he hates.

Gage:

Gage hates Nuka Cola because though it has many flavors he's just tired of drinking it all the time. He would rather drink the trash filled Irradiated water than a Nuka Cola. Every time you pick one up, he sighs loudly.

MacCready:

MacCready is addicted to instant cup ramen. Change my mind. You're on a mission and he's just slurping noodles obnoxiously just to upset you.

If TOW and Fo4 companions hung out together, He and Felix would be best friends.

X6-88:

Obviously the Fancy Lad Snack Cakes would be a headcanon. It's a fun one.

The most honest person ever but he'll lie only when he deems it absolutely necessary.

Mason:

Mason sleeps with a teddy bear that he's had since he was little. It's pretty worn looking but other than that it's well taken care of. He named it "Rudie" and will go off on anyone who dares to touch him.

Definitely has the best vocal animal impressions

Also, would have been a Leash kid.

Boone:

Boone would be the dino chicken nugget addicted friend. That's all.

Felix:

Cant read or write and it is something he's insecure about.

He can't flirt whatsoever. Like he seriously has barely any idea what he's doing and anything he does know is from serials.

Vicar Max:

Maxie can speak fluent spanish. No good enough explanations besides the fact his last name is a spanish surname and these are my headcanons

Arguments against him are unwinnable. Either he ends up right or drags it on so long it ends in a "agree to disagree" type way

It's canon that his handwriting is terrible but Im still putting it here

Do you think you could write Gage and the other bosses with an overboss who, while in power armor, looks very big and intimidating, but the second they step out of it, it's very appearant that they're short as hell and the opposite of intimidating

Gage thinks it's ridiculous how quickly you're stature will change depending on whether you're in your armor or not and will crack jokes at your expense just because of how cartoonish the entire thing is. He'll rest his arm on your head or just simply stare down at you. He thinks it's incredible that you're the person he takes orders from. Not that he's complaining, he just thinks it's strange how un-raider-like you look. He's always keeping a sharper eye out for you whenever you're not in your armor too, just in case anyone thinks it'd be the best time to assassinate you, and is noticeably more paranoid.

When you're outside of your armor, Mags Black will take you into the Parlor and get you outfitted in something that makes you appear more rugged. She's a firm believer in "dressing for the part" and thinks it's important that you do so as well. She even offered to have her and some of the Operators enhance your armor to make it look more hostile and rough, although, it won't be cheap.

William Black likes you better outside of your armor since he can look down at you instead of being forced to look up. Honestly, though, he might refuse to talk with you when you're not in your armor. He doesn't think you're worth his time if you don't look the part of a raider boss.

Nisha doesn't mind all that much. If you're dangerous in your power armor then you're just as dangerous outside of it. If anything, she thinks that you're more dangerous outside the armor since you don't look menacing at all. She'll help you use that to your advantage, using you as bait to lull those poor Minutemen soldiers into a false sense of righteousness before having you slaughter them. Just stick with her and the two of you could really make names for yourselves.

Mason also thinks it's really funny and will pick you up every time you leave your armor just because he thinks it's incredible how tiny you really are. No matter how much you squirm in his grasp he'll just hold you up and compare you to a puppy. Don't get him wrong, he has tons of respect for you, he just can't help but ruffle your hair or stick his foot out and trip you as you walk by. Although, if anyone else teased you in the same manner, he'd get really defensive and start sizing them up.

Gage:

It's a bit surprising, really. Even to himself, but his answer is 1 or 2, maybe even 3 or 4. He's not picky, and he knows it seems odd that an old raider like him even wants a kid at all, much less multiple little bastards, but... Gage doesn't fucking know. His life hasn't seemed to be all that meaningful so far, and he's getting to his later years. The thought of leaving something behind, someone behind to remember him, to carry on this way of life, or even to move on from it, to be something more when he just never could be... It's a kinda comforting thought.

Mason:

Oh yeah. He'll have some kids, that's for damn sure. You think he's gonna let a good bloodline like his just fade away into nothin'? No way in hell.

Mason's partner will be lucky to get away after 5 kiddos are born, but he's good to keep going until you threaten his fertility. A bunch of little Masons running around the park, causing trouble and headaches, growing up and becoming badass pack members? That's the fucking dream.

Maxson:

He always assumed he would want a large family, somewhere around 4-6 kids should be more than sufficient to help him carry on the Maxson line, even among the dangers of the Wasteland. Not to mention the fact that the siblings would have one another to share the burden of expectation awarded to those with the surname Maxson. They wouldn't be alone in this. Not like he was. He would be sure of that, at least.

And yet, after the first child is born, Arthur finds himself looking at things much less strategically. He may bring the number a bit lower, if only to ensure he can give his attention to each of his kids. They're not just fodder to carry on a name and secure his bloodline, they're kids. His kids. So he'd try to think less clinically about it all and settle for a more doable number, like 3 or maybe 4. If he feels like he can pay proper attention to more of them, then his thoughts might yet change again, but he will not have his kids being raised the same way he was. No proper parental figures, no guidance beyond thoughts of leadership and strategy... that's not what he wants for them.

Sturges:

Aw, yeah, kids are real nice. Sturges has always had a bit of a soft spot for 'em, especially the troubled teens. He finds that putting a tool in their hand and asking help fixing up some stuff around the settlements helps 'em calm down a bit, to see the good in their own work and see that they can fix almost anything with the right tools and support. So honestly, he would be very interested in the thought of adoption of an older kid if you're game for it.

To have his own kid(s) though? Raise them from scratch? He could do that too. All of it just sounds so nice and domestic for a world that's normally so harsh and unforgiving. Sign him up for 1 or 2 of his own and maybe some more that are adopted and a little older and he'll be happy.
