Mysticons Qusarla’s Brother Episode

Note: This was inspired by repeated asks. Also, this will contradict one of my Fan Seasons, as Proxima's parents are changed.

The Mysticons and Proxima are hanging out when Arkayna notices that Proxima was distracted and asks why. Proxima reveals that she wants to help Quasarla, who lost contact with her brother, but doesn't know how. They decide to help, as Arkayna and Zarya know what it's like to be seperated from family. Their only clue was that Quasarla's brother is named Darvin, and that he went to the Academy.

They go to the Academy to find student records. They learn that he was heavily involved in school productions, and wondered if he was interested in acting. Em looks, and finds someone that fits Darvin's description was a lead in a nearby performance from a travelling theatre. After looking up show times, they decide to go to the show in order to talk to him backstage. Believing that guards may relax during the show, and there'll be less performers backstage to catch them, they decide to go then.

Using Zarya and Piper's stealth skills, they manage to get into the theatre. While they believe that most people are distracted with the show, they are eventually caught by a human teenager. She introduces herself as Sunny Fanwood and asked what they are doing there. When Proxima explains the situation, Sunny notes how Proxima's appearance reminds her of Darvin. Given the similarities, as well as the fact that Darvin seems haunted by something, decides to help them.

She leads them to Darvin's dressing room, where they find a chained box. Zarya picks the lock, and inside there is a birth certificate and a book. Em looks at the birth certificate, and discovers that it's Proxima's birth certificate, and Darvin was listed as the father. As they are talking about what that means, Piper opens the book, releasing a dark mist. Darvin comes, and scolds the girls for opening the book. Proxima gets angry at Darvin for not being a dad to her, and runs off. Arkayna follows.

Arkayna catches up to Proxima right outside the theatre, and Proxima starts crying. She admits that she always wanted parents, but seeing Darvin reminded her that he refused to be a dad. Arkayna hugs Proxima, and tells her that there may be more to the story, but also adds that, if she's not ready to talk about it, that's fine. Proxima says that she feels overwhelmed, as now this means Quasarla's her aunt. Arkayna says that she knows how Proxima feels, but promises that she will help Proxima through it, no matter how she handles it. Just then, the mist that Piper released comes back in a humanoid form, and starts attacking.

Meanwhile, Zarya scolds Darvin for leaving Proxima as a baby. Darvin looks away, and admits that he was learning about magic as well as performing, but uncovered a very powerful and evil magic. He left so the magic he found doesn't hurt his wife or Proxima, and says that Proxima was probably happy with her mom. Em gently reveals that Proxima was raised as an orphan, confusing Darvin and making him feel guilty about leaving her. Sunny assures Darvin that he can make it better now by working on a relationship with Proxima. He decides to go find Proxima, and the Mysticons and Sunny follow.

They arrive just as the gas monster is fighting Proxima and Arkayna, and just as it's about to hit Proxima, Darvin creates a shield. While Darvin and Proxima work on finding a reversal spell, the other Mysticons distract the gas monster. Eventually, the monster is defeated. Darvin and Proxima make up, and Darvin asks how Proxima knew of him. Proxima tells him about Quasarla, and he decides to go to Drake City. Sunny choses to stay with the theatre.

At the Academy, Proxima reunites Darvin and Quasarla. They happily reunite, and Quasarla is surprised that Proxima is her neice. When the Mysticons leave and Proxima retreats to her room, Darvin asks Quasarla if he knows what happened to Proxima's mom. Quasarla sadly admits that she doesn't, and that the only family she knows Proxima has are them, and the Mysticons.
