No normal person was ever 600 lbs 100 years. Not a single one. It's not healthy or safe for anyone to be that large
Not a single one, eh? Are we gonna attempt to back that up with anything of substance whatsoever or are we just echoing eugenics into a fat person’s inbox and calling it a win? Sit down, bucko.
You know what else isn’t “healthy” or “normal” to be? Disabled. Yet disabled people have always existed. Imagine that!
Wild to think that part of being human means having a variety of differences in the formation and function of our bodies, and that our health status does not determine our right to exist in those bodies.
The eldest of these artifacts dates to over 30,000 years ago. A timespan longer than you or any mortal person can truly comprehend. We’ve been here since the beginning of humanity and we are still here. Fat people, specifically fat Black women, have roamed the earth long before colonization twisted perception of reality into hierarchy and poisoned the minds of generations to view certain human beings as disposable. Fat people have always existed and always will, no matter how much you fantasize about a past and future rid of us.

“How many statues of Black women do the ancients have to hide for you to dig up and understand what God looks like. How many times do fat Black women have to save your life in song. What are you paying attention to? This is why you can never see God in yourself. You are damned by hatred of fat Black women. And no part of you could ever live without them. This is why the universe (huge, black, unfolding, expansive) shakes and shakes her head, you fools. You wasteful fools.” Alexis Pauline Gumbs, M Archive: After The End of The World

Body Positivity was created by fat people FOR fat people.. but #BodyPositivity is almost entirely thin people who have appropriated the term and movement so they can humble brag and post selfies.. at the cost of erasing fat people from the movement. That's called fatphobia.

Fat people deserve mobility aids, too. No matter if it's connected to their fatness or not, because having a mobility issue that is connected to one's fatness won't change that they're still fat and still have the issue at hand. Fat people don't deserve to "tough it out" because fatness should be this divine punishment doled out to those who "deserve" it. Fat disabled people deserve to have the peace of mind that they can exist in whatever way is most comfortable and accessible to them

We all know there's a fat erasure problem with Good Omens art and photo edits. We've gotta stop being afraid to let them have skin folds, stretch marks and soft bellies but another thing we don't talk about is how important it is leaving them their wrinkles, their eye bags and their imperfections of age. It's part of their beauty but it also signifies something incredibly important, in my opinion.
Part of what makes Crowley and Aziraphale such unique and wonderful examples of representation, is that they're not perfect, model-like young adults. Middle aged queer characters are so important because queer elders as a whole are so rare. The world's respective governments significantly failed queer folks during the AIDS crisis in the 80s and as a result, older queer couples, especially mlm or masc presenting couples aren't particularly prevalent in media, and having that example is a strange little beacon of hope.
So please, let Crowley have his forehead wrinkles and let Aziraphale keep his eye bags. Not only are they lovely, notable parts of their appearance but they symbolize something larger than just that. Let these old, alt, soft, queer man-shaped beings be just that.

btw if you remove people of colour, fat people and disabled people from queer history youve removed so much that you can barely even call it history anymore.
disabled queer people have always been here. non-white queer people have always been here. fat queer people have always been here. you cannot erase ANY of us without erasing a huge part of queer history.

Black History Month at FFL: Highlighting Black Feedist Content Creators
As we round out the end of Black History Month, us here at FFL thought it was important to highlight our fellow feedist community members in the present! These Black feedist content creators put in the work year round to provide amazing feedist content. Models and Sex Workers are a huge part of the feedist community. They are pillars – providing the community with unique erotic content that could otherwise be hard to find as people with non-normative sexualities and desires, as well as providing ample representation of the diverse array of people who have and love this kink. Not only is this work needed, but it can be incredibly healing and validating to find erotic content highlighting feedism, especially if it is made by creators that look like you!
As the world has grown increasingly reactionary and puritanical towards porn, sex work, and virtual erotic content, censorship has grown alarmingly commonplace. Many workers find that it is a struggle to be visible on platforms and social media sites, and this struggle only heightens when you have to deal with antiblack and fatphobic algorithms and moderators. While FFL cannot remedy the shifting tides of internet censorship, the least we can do is create a resource that makes it easier for people to find and support our working members of the feedist community.
After reaching out to Black content creators, a handful agreed to be highlighted on FFL’s website and social media. Featured below are five feedist models alongside links to their clip and fansites, linktrees to find all their content, wishlists, as well as preferred payment methods! If you are looking for feedist content, check out the wide variety offered in these model’s catalogs. Or if you’re feeling generous, sending a tip through their payment methods is a great way to show your appreciation for the work they do for their community. And as always, Sex Work is Real Work, and Black History Month should be celebrated all year long! So feel free to come back to this post as a reference for the next time you are on the hunt for more feedisty and fat admiration content!

Obvious troll is obvious
Just got a submission from an obvious-troll who created an entire brand-new account so submit a looooong ask that pretended to be curious about fat liberation or what they called "fat acceptance and the fatosphere"---old terms from about ten years ago that have since been replaced by fat liberation, and a major red flag that this person wasn't actually doing any new reading on the subject.
This obvious-troll wanted to know why if disliking fat bodies isn't an inborn preference, why haven't larger fat people ever in any society in all of history been considered the object of desire and/or the pinnacle of beauty ?
And I'm over here like

‘The more obese the more admired are the ladies of the harem.’ A.H. Keane, The World’s Peoples: a Popular Account of their Bodily and Mental Characters, Beliefs, Traditions, Political and Social Institutions , London, 1909, p. 175, fig. 102. The Turkish appreciation for fat was widely reported in the nineteenth century and beyond.

Nice try, obvious-troll. But it turns out that "preferences" for body types are not in the same category as one's sexuality. Meaning that when people suggest that fatness can be attractive, they are not threatening or denying some essential part of your sexuality.
Also--and this should go without saying---that even if you don't find someone attractive, they still deserve the same rights as everyone else. Another red flag that you are a troll and not at all honestly curious is immediately reducing the primary goals of fat liberation to fat people wanting to get banged more often. I mean, come the fuck on.

red ochre: one of mankind's oldest pigments. it's been used by humans for over 100,000 years: first as a salve or insect repellant or to preserve leather, and later as paint. red ochre evokes the warmth and fertility of the earth and the vitality of blood.
