You know it's funny how Tsukihime had Ciel-sensei segments back in 2000 and Fate Stay Night had Taiga Dojo segments back in 2004 to help the player not feel bad about getting bad endings and giving tips with some funny stuff mixed in but you don't really be seeing that shit anywhere else. Like you'd think that would become a visual novel staple instead of basically just a Type-Moon thing, like it ain't like it's copyrighted like loading screen games were for the longest by namco. Can't think of much of a good reason why no other visual novels I'm aware of had them. Hell, the When They Cry series don't even have route decisions and shit and even it had its own tips and shit to help you read into stuff more and solve the mystery starting in 2002 with Higurashi and all the way into Ciconia in 2019 and of course Umineko too that began in 2007. Like what's everyone else's reasoning or excuse?

Review: Tsukihime -A piece of blue glass moon-
If you know something is a remake, are you more or less likely to check it out? Is the novelty or convenience of it being a new release the main draw? Are you less interested because you find the concept of remakes distasteful or more interested because clearly enough people liked it enough that it warrants a remake?
I assume that there are at least thousands of people who played Final Fantasy…
