its 3am and I can't sleep so here's a few modern au albert + benji things bc I love thinking about them

albert is claustrophobic. he refuses to go in elevators by himself (he got stuck in one once and it was definitely made worse by the fact he didn't know anyone he was in the elevator with)

benji is LOUD. people will go up to albert like 'was not expecting you to be the quiet one'. when benji first meets someone, he's very quiet and closed off, but as he gets more comfortable around them and starts to come out of his shell, he's very outgoing and easy to get along with

he's also very messy. like 9 times out of 10, a mess will be his. albert gave up trying to get benji to tidy up after himself, so just does it for him. which has resulted in possibly one of the best short conversations between the two. "I was saving that stuff for later, thats why I put it there!" "oh well next time make a sign." the others will quote this at any given opportunity.

benji plays football, albert plays basketball. they're always right at the front of the stands, cheering each other on. benji also loves going and supporting splasher at his swim meets. (idk anything about sports lol)

The Flash 9x09

Short random thought post about the episode. AHHHH! Okay so I didn't really get into Green Arrow or The Flash from the beginning, but I kinda got pulled in by the characters- tbh that's how I get into shows now, I see a character I like, and then I see if it's worth the plot, lol. ANYWAY though, it was really nice to see Oliver and Barry together for a final? (honestly idk anymore lol) time. When Diggle showed Barry the bow- and then when Oliver and Barry hugged- their banter- Stephen and Grant just have a dynamic that I like to watch.

Idk how I felt about the explanation behind how they were able to bring Oliver back, but what really got me was the ending of the episode. There were some references from Arrow that they included which I really liked. We got a bit of a Felicity mention.

AND THEN WE GOT MENTIONS ABOUT WILLIAM AND MIA??? AND THEN OLIVER SAYING "I'm keeping an eye on them" AH-

Okay but that leads me to why I made this post actually. Yes it was fun to see Oliver again, but what Diggle said about William specifically made go "huh"? So he mentions that William is in college. Last I remember- and if I'm remembering this correctly- he was kidnapped right? And then Mia goes looking for him in one of the crossover events-Armageddon I believe? But she doesn't find him, right?

SO my question is, what happened? Are there any theories out there? Like because there's now a multiverse again, did the kidnapping NOT happen? Or is it not a thing YET? Sigh. I'm not gonna bother myself too much with the Arrowverse and timelines. I just tried researching on what happened and I mostly found on Reddit that most people said it was setting up the spinoff that was supposed to happen so if it had been greenlit they would have explored it.

But where does this mention of William fit? I guess I could have just led with that from the beginning- but I am curious. Once again, my fandom nerd self has made what I thought would be a short post into another TLDR, lol.

RAMBLING THOUGHTS AFTER FINISHING PART TWO. GONNA ADDRESS MY P1 THOUGHTS FIRST. SPOILER WARNING.

1 & 2: I think Debling could’ve worked in the second half, and I’m kinda sad Cressida didn’t get a happy ending. The Creloise fell of a CLIFF after ep 5 but I think it could still be saved

5: no cishet man has ever loved his wife more than Anthony Bridgerton I’m gonna be ill

6 & 12: kanthony’s absence was felt BAD in the finale, I think their reactions to LW were sorely needed. Also Jonny and Simone have both said they’ll be at every sibling’s wedding and stick around for years but they missed Francesca’s??? Also felt their absence too much then. They’re both booked and busy I think we’ll continue to only get a couple episodes a season from them

8: Francesca did get to thrive happy in pt 2 my baby I love her

9: I think they managed to disconnect the mondrich plot even further like 😭 once again, I don’t mind them their plot just feels very empty

10: Pen and Delacroix CONTINUE to be my fave duo I love them so freaking much and they can never get rid of it

13: Portia’s growth this season continued to be 10/10 I loved her and Penelope’s relationship it really showed what it’s like to be closely related to people you oppose and the process of needing to forgive and understand them for your own peace of mind

14: that was not how I was expecting Colin to find out about Whistledown

15: Marcus felt a little rushed in part two but I think I need to watch the whole season together to fully decide

17: this was indeed the longest 27 days of my life I got Covid day after it dropped lmfao

MY ~NEW~ THOUGHTS:

We finally got character development from Cressida and if they write her out I’ll be inconsolable (as will Jessica Madsen)

I hope they paid Golda Rosheuvel good for her feet exposure. Worth more than titties in this economy

At some points I felt like Francesca was fighting Anthony for ‘Violet’s least favourite child’ award lmao

Most of the costumes and makeup feel like they got worse,,,,, big ‘I hired a 14 year old’ energy. I don’t need historical accuracy but I would like a modicum of care and the costume/hair/makeup dept looking at a single historical reference from before 1850,,,, please

We all got the bi Benedict we’ve been asking for and I appreciate it, and recognise that he needed Tilley to explore that, but I still would’ve preferred if they first main queer experience was not a threesome
