hawaiian party.

an fbh!era/college!au imagine full of angst, humor, smoking weed, hiding in a bathroom at a party & grief.
content warning: marijuana usage, mentions of disordered eating, feelings of loneliness & dealing with a parent’s death.
This was the first time you'd been out since your mother's death. Unwillingly so, and yet, here you were, hiding in your best friend's bathroom at a college party. How depressing of you.
Nadia, your best friend and Alpha Theta's starry-eyed sorority member, had practically pleaded on the phone with you to come out and 'let loose', because 'your mom wouldn't want you to rot in your dorm room, eating M&M's and watching reruns of Grey's Anatomy'.
You hated that she had a point. You hated that this was what your life had come to.
Nadia had also mentioned that a few of your other friends would be attending the party and they had, apparently, mentioned how much they 'missed you' and 'wanted to see you'.
How could you say no to them? If you turned them down, you would be stuck in the same bottomless pit of loneliness, grief and M&M's.
For Nadia, for your friends and for your mother's memory, you had decided to attend the party at her sorority. Many of the people there, you didn't know or really bothered to speak to. As you arrived, you noticed a few of your friends lingering around. Niall was talking to Michael and Luke, Liam and Calum were playing spin the bottle with a few strangers, Nadia was nowhere to be seen and Harry was up against a wall, a joint in between his fingers.
He had been the first one to make eye contact with you, to notice your presence. A smile pulled at his lips and before you knew it, he was chasing you upstairs to the bathroom, racing after you as you tried to ditch the scene.
Which is where you are now: in the bathroom, sitting against the tub with Harry sat next to you.
"You've been away." He breaks through the silence between you, taking a drag from the joint he'd been puffing at.
"Yeah." You reply quietly, eyes cast downward, tracing over the tile.
"How, um... how have you been..." He trails off, trying to find the right words.
"Coping?"
Harry looks at you now, emerald eyes overcome with worry and concern for your wellbeing.
"Not very well. I haven't really... haven't really eaten properly. I mean, you know my relationship with food is..."
"A rollercoaster. Been that way for a very long time. I know."
You sigh, unsure of what to say. Of course, Harry knew. Other than Nadia, he was your closest friend. You'd met in high school and were inseparable ever since. Your fingers twitch towards the joint he's holding, and he hands it to you, watching you take a drag from it.
"Your mum was a good person, Y/N. I know she fucked up a lot of things, but one thing she was truthful about was how much she loved you."
"Y'know, what the really fucked up part of that is?"
"What?"
"I don't believe she truly loved me. I mean, after everything she put me through, how can you call that love?"
"Everyone has their own version of love, Y/N. Whether we understand it or not, is completely up to us."
A half-hearted smile tugs at the right corner of your lips. Harry's very emotionally intelligent and opening up to him, even if it's surface level, is helpful.
As you hand him the joint, a question brews in your mind, "What do you think? About love, I mean."
Harry chuckles, taking the joint from you. "I'd like to think that love is a word for a feeling no one can truly describe. I don't believe it's conditional or should be tied down to a person, place or thing. Love, like any other feeling, should be felt freely. Love is part of the human experience."
"Okay, Professor." You grin, "Maybe you should be studying psychology, become a therapist."
"Mm," He hums, "What have you been up to? Besides hibernating."
"I'm watching Grey's Anatomy again."
"Again? Christ, this is the third time!"
"I'm almost done with Season 11, believe it or not."
"Jesus. Do you not get bored of looking at Jesse Williams?"
"Never."
"Is that all you've been doing?"
"What, is wasting away in my bed, anticipating the next time Dr. Jackson Avery is on my screen, not a healthy way to cope with the fact that my mother's dead?"
"You're passively grieving, Y/N. Hell, I don't even think you've allowed yourself to fully process."
"These things take time, H. I can't just piece myself back together."
"S' not what I'm getting at, love. I think you're pushing your grief to the side."
"Harry..."
"If you need a reminder that you can come to someone, that you're allowed to shoulder the burden with someone else, I'm happy to give you one. You can't go through this alone, no matter how hard you try."
"You know just what to say, don't you?"
"Maybe I should become a therapist. M' quite good at it."
"Well, in that case, should I open up now or let you get your PhD first?"
"Don't bother. Dr. Styles is in."
"In all seriousness? Thank you, H... for letting me just... be."
"Don't have to thank me, love. M' always here. Now, why don't we get out of here, smoke a bowl in my car and get you a cheeseburger?"
"Sounds good to me, Styles."
Harry stands, the joint he'd been holding in between his fingers had burnt out. He tosses it in the trash bin near the toilet, before holding his hand out for you to take. You smile up at him, taking ahold of it.
Exiting the bathroom, you both weave through the party and head out into the night.
If there's anything your mom would have wanted for you, it was to have someone like Harry. Harry was supportive, thoughtful. He knew you better than you knew yourself and, at times, you were grateful for that.
With death, comes life. With life, comes love.
Perhaps, Harry would open your eyes to that.
You had hope that he would. That he will.

“Cabin Fever”

*No kinks for this one since it's one of the softer ones. Note that I did tweak FBH's age a bit to make him a little older than he was in real life during this era.*

"Teagan!"
Teagan quickly looked away from the trunk of the car and over her shoulder to her friend Callie. Callie was exiting the cabin they had just arrived at, pulling her hair into a messy ponytail.
"Is the box of liquor still in there?" Callie asked as she made her way back down the stairs to join back up with Teagan - assisting with unpacking the car.
"Uh no," Teagan responded as she began to move some of their bags around. "I think Julien said he was taking it over to his cabin."
Callie let out a gasp of surprise, stopping in her tracks by the side of the car. "That little shit! That was our alcohol, not theirs. Julien said Aaron was getting the alcohol for them. Oh hell no - this is not how this is going to work.
Teagan giggled as she watched Callie run off towards the boys cabin that was just a little ways away from their own. They were the only ones on this part of the resort they were staying at - a nice distance of woods between the two cabins, but not far enough to where it was a pain to walk back and forth.
It ensured that both parties still had a good amount of privacy, even though Teagan knew that Callie would more than likely be sneaking over to the boy's cabin in the middle of the night to fool around with Julien.
Julien had invited Callie to come on this trip seeing they had been dating for a little over five months now. Callie had been Teagan's best friend since their first year of college, next week being the start of their third, so she asked Teagan to come along as well.
Teagan was hesitant at first - as parties and social settings such as this weren't really her thing, but she promised herself that this year she would try and step out of her shell a bit more. When Callie invited her, she saw this as the perfect opportunity to start testing out those waters she found to be so dangerous before.
It was only a few minutes later, after Teagan had managed to get the rest of their bags inside, that Callie came trudging back with the box of liquor.
"How hard was that for you to get back?" Teagan asked with a smirk.
Callie rolled her eyes, setting the box down on the kitchen counter. "It may have resulted in me telling them that we'd help set up for the bonfire tonight."
Teagan narrowed her eyebrows, starting to help Callie take the bottles of liquor out of the box - setting up a makeshift bar on the countertop. "Weren't we already going to help them?"
"Yeah, but they didn't know that. I was just gonna have us go over and help to be nice on our own accord."
The girls quickly set out all the liquor bottles before heading upstairs to get ready for the bonfire tonight. It was nearing six o'clock, and they had all agreed upon seven o'clock to start the festivities. There were a couple of other girls staying in the cabin with them, but Teagan and Callie didn't really know them, so they decided to keep to themselves for now.
Teagan wasn't really sure what to wear considering she never went to a lot of parties. She had maybe gone to three her entire college career, and those were on the more tame side. With the help of Callie, she settled on a dark blue washed denim skirt and a black halter top - pairing it with some black wedges.
"Oh my gosh, Teagan, you look so good," Callie complimented her as they looked in the mirror. Callie stood behind her, resting her chin on her shoulder. "I'm so happy you're here."
"Me too, it feels good stepping out my box for once."
They made their way over to the boy's cabin, and Teagan felt the nerves swirling in her stomach. She wasn't sure how many of Julien's frat brothers would be here, let alone which ones. Most of them seemed nice enough, but there were also a handful of them that could be absolute assholes.
"Don't be so nervous, T," Callie said, placing her hand on Teagan's shoulder. "It'll be okay, and I'll stay right by your side the whole time if you want."
Teagan sucked in a deep breath before nodding. "Okay, yeah. There's nothing to be nervous about."
Callie smiled and opened the door to the boy's cabin, heading inside. "The best guests have arrived!"
Teagan could feel her face growing flushed as several of the boys looked over at them. She wasn't one for attention being focused on her, so this was absolutely causing all of her nerves to come rushing back. The girls made their way into the kitchen, and Callie immediately wrapped her arms around Julien.
"So what can us ladies do to help move things along?" She asked, pressing a kiss to his lips.
"Well, we need help setting up the little bar we're gonna have going on in here, and then we need someone to help Harry set up the actual bonfire outside," Julien responded, hands rubbing up and down Callie's sides.
Callie peered over her shoulder at Teagan, giving her a small smirk. "Do you wanna go help Harry and I can take care of helping Julien here?"
Callie knew that Teagan had a little bit of a crush on Harry. It happened on the first day of classes last year, when Teagan accidentally ran into Harry in one of the hallways - panicking about where her classroom actually was. Running into Harry caused the books she had in her arms to go flying, and if he hadn't reached out to grab the tops of her arms, Teagan would've fallen over completely.
He was so polite to her even though she wished the world would've opened her up and swallowed her whole. She could only imagine just how red her cheeks were, and she could feel tears burning in her eyes out of embarrassment. Teagan was sure Harry had paid attention to all of that, and he still didn't make it awkward. He helped her pick up her books before asking where she was heading in such a hurry. When she explained that she was lost, Harry quickly pointed her in the right direction - sending her a wink before heading towards his own class.
Ever since then, she couldn't help but get lost in daydreams of the boy with chestnut curls, evergreen eyes and deep dimples. Teagan finally mustered up the courage to ask Callie about him one day, and it turns out he's actually one of the nicer frat boys. It didn't surprise Teagan to hear this - she figured that Harry was nice with the way he treated her that day.
"Uhm, yeah, sure," Teagan said, twisting her hands behind her back and rolling on the balls of her feet. "He's already outside?"
"Yep, went out there a couple of minutes ago. I'm sure he'll appreciate the help," Julien commented as Teagan made her way around the couple and towards the back door of the cabin.
Teagan walked onto the back porch - immediately catching sight of Harry with an axe in his hands. He had a log of wood perched up, and he quickly swung the axe down to split it in two. Teagan's mouth ran dry as she watched the way his muscles flexed with his movements. She didn't even know how long she had been staring until Harry looked up.
"Julien sent you out here?" He asked, bringing up the hem of his tank top to wipe over his forehead.
Teagan's eyes immediately snapped to his chiseled v-lines where leaves peeked over the waist of his skinny jeans.
"Y-yes," she stammered, internally cursing herself with the way her voice faltered.
Licking over her lips, she walked down the steps of the porch and approached Harry - her heart pounding against her chest.
"Perfect," he said as he dropped his tank top to cover his stomach once again, sending her a dazzling smile. "I'm Harry, by the way."
Harry extended his hand out to Teagan, and she cleared her throat before taking it. "Hi, I'm-"
"Teagan," Harry interrupted her, tugging his bottom lip through his teeth. "You're Callie's friend."
Teagan's eyes widened at the fact that Harry already knew her name. Although they ran into each other in the hall that one time, she had never really encountered him after that. She figured that she remained invisible to him - just like she did to everyone else but Callie and Julien.
But invisible was the last thing Teagan was to Harry. He too had developed a bit of a thing for her after their little run in. Whenever he'd see her in passing, he'd keep his eyes glued to her probably more than he should. Teagan fascinated him.
Harry didn't have any classes with her, but one of his buddies, Connor, did. He found out her name through him, and then realized after how good of friends Callie was with her. Harry knew that Teagan was smart, Connor telling him that she was majoring in Anthropology, but it was obvious to him that she had no idea just how beautiful she was too.
"Yeah, her and Julien...they're kind of my only friends," Teagan mumbled, looking down shamefully at her feet.
Harry felt his heart ache a bit, and he reached out to place a hand on her shoulder. "Hey, you're here with all of us, aren't you? It's a perfect opportunity to make some connections with new people."
Teagan just nodded in response, not really believing him. She was sure that no one would want to interact with her since she was so quiet most of the time. She knew that people probably thought she was weird because of that.
"So what can I help with?" She asked, doing her best to get the subject to change from being on her and her lack of social interaction.
"If you want to take this wood I've already chopped up and set it up in the fire pit, that would be good."
Teagan moved her head in understanding, gathering up the few pieces of wood that were already cut - holding them in her arms against her chest. She walked over to the fire pit that was just a few steps away, beginning to set them in there in a way that would keep the fire going well.
"I was a little surprised when Callie told me you were coming," Harry spoke as he clashed the axe down against another piece of wood. "But, it's nice that you are. Callie talks about you all the time."
"Really?" Teagan asked with a laugh, looking over her shoulder. "I don't know why, I'm not in any way exciting."
"She seems to think you are. She said without you she wouldn't have made it through her first year."
Shaking her head, Teagan dusts her hands off on her skirt as she makes her way back over to Harry. "She likes to exaggerate."
Harry tilts his head to the side, studying Teagan. "Why do you do that?"
"Do what?"
"Seems like you tend to put yourself down," he stated. "Why?"
"O-oh, I just..." Teagan trailed off, looking down at her feet while tucking a strand of hair behind her ear. "I'm just being honest, I guess. I'm pretty boring."
"I don't think that's true."
Teagan looked back up to Harry, getting lost in his green irises. "You don't even know me," she whispered.
Harry knew she was right. He didn't know her - not in the slightest. The last thing he wanted was for her to be down on herself though.
"Can I ask why you think you're so boring?"
Teagan shrugged, picking up the pieces of wood that Harry had freshly cut in an attempt to distract herself. "I've always been boring."
She moved away from him and set the new pieces of wood on top of the others - doing her best to calm the nerves that were creeping their way back into her stomach. When Teagan turned around to walk back over to Harry, she collided immediately with his chest.
"I-I'm sorry," she stuttered, lips parting as she stared up at him.
Harry smirked down at her, reaching around her hips to plant both hands on the edge of the fire pit - trapping her between his arms. "I think you're a little too hard on yourself, Teagan."
Teagan's breath got caught in the back of her throat as her eyes bounced all over Harry's perfect face.
"What do you mean?" She blurted out, leaning back away from him.
"I don't think you see yourself the way other people see you at all."
It was like Teagan's brain forgot how to comprehend a single thought when those words left Harry's mouth.
"And how do you see me?" She asked eventually, her voice quiet.
Harry didn't know how to answer her. He knew that he saw her as beautiful, smart and endearing, but he also didn't want to come out and confess all of that. Talking to a girl like this was a little new to him. Usually the girls threw themselves at him, and then the rest just went from there.
Harry pushed himself off the fire pit and shook his head as he walked back over to cut the last log of wood he had. "In no way in particular," he lied. "Sorry, I don't know what I was saying."
Teagan found herself growing more insecure as Harry completely backtracked on the way he was speaking to her. Her fingernails dug into her palms as she tried to will away the anxiety flowing through her.
"Right," she breathed out, pulling her trembling bottom lip into her mouth.
"You can head inside - I can handle the rest."
"Right," Teagan repeated herself - wanting to smack herself in the face.
She quickly turned around and went inside, eyes searching all over the cabin for Callie. When they landed upon her, she walked over and took her hand - taking Callie by surprise.
"T, is everything okay?" She asked, concern covering her face.
"Y-yeah, I just...I got a little hot outside. Harry sent me back in."
Callie quickly guided Teagan over to the couch - forcing her to sit down. "I'll get you some water."
As Callie went to retrieve the water, the girls from their cabin showed up, and music started playing - signaling that the bonfire was truly beginning. It wasn't long until Callie returned with some water, and Teagan sipped it.
The little party soon turned rowdy, causing Teagan to grow even more anxious than she already was. Callie tried to stay by her side as much as possible, but it was hard when she would leave to go and get a drink or play a game with Julien. Teagan didn't fault her - she was allowed to enjoy the party like everyone else and not have to tend to her best friend.
Throughout the night, Harry kept glimpsing over at Teagan, and he found himself feeling a bit guilty for the way he reacted to her earlier. It was wrong of him just to switch on her like that, but being honest and open in such a way was new to him. He was sure that it probably didn't make her feel any better about herself, and that was going to nag at him until he made it right.
"What's the nerdy girl doing here?" He heard Danny say, and Harry could already feel his blood boiling. "Has she even had a drink?"
Danny began to make his way over to Teagan who was leaning up against the wall - observing everyone as she kept to herself. Harry followed behind him, and that was mostly to make sure he didn't do anything stupid.
"Is that beer in your cup?" Danny asked as he approached Teagan, clearly catching her by surprise.
"N-no, just water," Teagan replied as her hand gripped tighter to the plastic in her hand. Her eyes flashed over to Harry over Danny's shoulder, and she was hoping that he'd get this drunken man away from her.
"So you come to these cabins to camp with us, and you come to this party, but you're not going to drink? Are you really that much of a fucking prude?"
Teagan pushed herself harder against the wall at the harsh tone of Danny's voice - wanting to absolutely disappear.
"Callie and Julien invited me," she said, her voice small.
"I don't care who invited you. You clearly don't belong here," he snapped. "You're just standing against the wall - judging all of us while taking up space. Do you even think she could be fun, Styles?"
Danny looked over his shoulder at Harry who's eyes were stuck on Teagan. He could see her shifting her weight from foot to foot, and it was clear that she was extremely uncomfortable in the present situation.
"Nope - not at all," Harry spoke, taking another sip of his beer. "You're right. Just taking up fucking space."
Harry's words felt like a dagger straight to Teagan's heart. She felt tears welling up in her eyes, her cup of water falling to the ground as she started to shake.
"You gonna cry now, nerdy girl?" Danny taunted, and Teagan quickly shoved her hands against him, moving him out of her way as she pushed past him and Harry.
Tears were streaming down her cheeks as she exited through the front door - not even bothering to find Callie and tell her she was leaving. Teagan needed to get out of there as soon as possible.
Soft sobs left her on the short walk back to the cabin. Her arms were wrapped tight against herself - fingertips digging into the skin of her shoulder blades. This is exactly why she didn't put herself in situations like this. This is everything she had tried to protect herself from.
Teagan stepped back into the cabin, and immediately went into the room her and Callie were sharing. She grabbed all of her toiletries and went into the bathroom, removing her contacts and quickly taking a shower. Slipping into her tank top and running shorts, Teagan went back into the bedroom and curled up in her bed. She was staring blankly at the wall as tears continued to fall down her cheeks, and she felt so pathetic.
If she hadn't rode with Callie and had driven herself here, she would surely be leaving right now. Half of her was tempted to tell Callie she was leaving with the car and would come back to pick her up at the end of the week. Either that or she could just ride home with Julien.
Teagan didn't know how long it had been before she heard a knock on the door, causing her to sit up in bed - wiping her hands over her wet cheeks. She grabbed her glasses off the nightstand, sliding them onto the bridge of her nose as the knocking continued. Hesitantly, she crawled out of bed and made her way towards the front door. She opened it just a crack and peered around it - seeing Harry standing there with his hands pressed against the doorframe, and his head down.
The door creaking alerted Harry, and he snapped his head up to look at her.
"Teagan...hi," Harry said, dropping his hands to stand up straight.
He wasn't exactly sure why he decided to come over and check on her a half hour after she had left the bonfire, but the tears she had cried were embedded in his mind.
"What are you doing here?" Teagan asked, her voice coming out more harsh than she thought it ever could.
"I-I'm sorry about Danny," Harry spoke quickly, hearing just how fed up Teagan was with her tone. "He's an ass, and he gets off on getting under people's skin and making them feel small."
"And you? Are you sorry about yourself?"
Teagan was surprised with herself. She was never one to stand up against others like this, but she thought that Harry was so sweet the first time they encountered each other, and she thought he was also being kind earlier before his demeanor completely changed.
"Yes, I am, fuck."
Harry shook his head while fiddling with the bandana that was pushing his curls back.
"Look, I'm a douchebag sometimes," he started, suddenly feeling nervous for the first time in a while. "And I shouldn't have let him talk to you like that, and I shouldn't have gone along with it."
Teagan continued to stare at Harry - watching as he slightly squirmed under her gaze.
"And I know I'm not owed a single thing from you, but I left the bonfire, and I was wondering if you'd like to come down to the lake with me."
Harry's eyes darted all over Teagan's face as he tried to gauge how she would respond. Teagan looked down at her attire before looking back at Harry.
"I don't know why I'm agreeing, but I just need a second to pull on a hoodie," she announced, and Harry nodded his head.
"Absolutely, take all the time you need."
Teagan noticed he had pulled a flannel on over his tank top considering it got colder here at nighttime. She also didn't have a bra on at the moment, and she didn't necessarily want Harry seeing all of that. Closing the door, she moved back into her bedroom to pull a plain black hoodie over her head - slipping her feet into some sandals before walking back to the front door.
Harry smiled as Teagan reappeared while pulling the front door closed behind her. They began to walk, mostly in silence until Harry decided to speak up after a few minutes.
"I actually chose this place for us to camp," he stated, shoving his hands into the front pockets of his tight jeans. "My family and I used to come here every year for vacation, so I know it like the back of my hand."
Teagan's fingers were fidgeting with each other in her front hoodie pocket as they walked. She wasn't sure why she agreed to come with Harry after the words he had spoken to her at the party, but she knew that if he just showed up at the cabin door like that then he must've felt bad. Guys like him didn't do things like that without a reason.
"The lake is my favorite part," he continued, grabbing onto a tree branch that was hanging low and swinging from it before releasing it - dropping back down to the ground. "I'd sneak out at night to come down here by myself. You can see the sky so perfectly because it's so open, and the sound of the water rippling in the wind is so nice."
Hearing Harry speak in such a way had Teagan's heart soaring. He was speaking about the lake in the same way she treasured going out into the flower field next to grandparents house growing up. With a book tucked under her arm, Teagan always found joy in heading out there and laying among the flowers as she read her newest book.
"I get that," Teagan told him, glancing over in his direction for a moment. "I have a place that speaks to me in a similar way."
Harry's eyes gleamed as he looked over at Teagan, a crooked smile appearing on his lips. "Yeah? Where?"
"There's a field next to my grandparent's old house - they're gone now, but it was filled with flowers. I would go out there during the summer for hours and just read. It was freeing."
"Fuck, yeah...I couldn't think of the word," Harry said, nibbling on his bottom lip. "Freeing."
They get to the lake and walk out onto the pier before sitting down. Teagan sits with her legs criss crossed, where Harry was leaning back onto back onto his palms, legs bent up a bit so his knees were facing the sky.
Teagan soon found out that he was absolutely right about this lake. It was understandable why he liked it here - it was so peaceful.
The pair remained quiet for some time, and just as Harry said, the only sound you could really hear was the water billowing in the breeze. Harry looked over at Teagan as she stared down at her lap, occasionally lifting her hand up to push her sliding glasses back up.
Harry was truly beating himself up over the words he said to Teagan earlier. It was absolutely idiotic of him, and if he could go back and tell Danny off instead of siding with him, he would. The look on Teagan's face when he said those hateful words was right at the forefront of his mind.
"Look, I know I already said it, but I really am sorry about siding with Danny before," Harry sighed, eyes still focused on Teagan. "I shouldn't have talked to you that way, and I'm beating myself up over it."
"You shouldn't talk to anybody that way - not just me."
Teagan's tone was pointed - causing Harry to swallow harshly. Even though she may be shy, she could speak her mind when she wanted to. She only wished she could've called them both out like this then, and not just now that it was her and Harry.
"I know, I know," Harry nodded. "I'm a fucking idiot, alright? I've been trying to be better at being so arrogant, but it's hard when the people around you are."
"That's not really an excuse," Teagan stated, finally looking over to Harry. "Julien's around all the same people, and he's not mean to me. He's not mean to anyone like that."
Harry didn't know what to say back to her. He knew that ultimately she was right, and honestly her saying that knocked some sense into him. Julien doesn't act like that and he doesn't get cast to the side - he's just as included in everything with the fraternity as anyone else is.
Silence took the two of them over again, but Teagan didn't mind. She was used to the quiet, and it didn't make her uncomfortable. If anything, she preferred the quiet.
"You don't have to be who everybody else wants you to be all the time, you know?" Teagan said, looking over to Harry another time. "I think who you were outside with me earlier, when you were cutting wood, is more of who you really are. You were being so kind."
Teagan wanted to also mention how pleasant he had been the first time they really met, but she didn't want to freak him out. He probably didn't even remember it.
"Fuck," Harry sighed, shaking his head as he curled his body up, locking his forearms around his bent up knees to lace his fingers either. "I-I know, I've been slowly coming to terms with that over these last few months.
"And that is who I am...the guy I was outside earlier before I acted like an asshole then too. That guy you ran into in the hall last year, that's me too."
Teagan's stomach clenched when he brought up their first encounter. She thought for sure that he wouldn't even think twice about that day, and here he was making her realize that wasn't true.
"Well," Teagan started, sucking a deep breath. "I quite like that guy. I'd like to see more of him."
She didn't know how she found it in herself to be so confident with him, but she could tell that Harry was being vulnerable, so she wanted to repay the gesture.
The corners of Harry's lips twitched up into a smile, eyes dancing all over Teagan's face.
"Yeah?" He asked, laughing a bit out of nervousness. "Think you could be friends with him?"
Teagan giggled, and it sounded like the sweetest melody Harry had ever heard. He watched as she nodded her head, her blue eyes twinkling in the moonlight.
"I think I could."
Harry and Teagan stayed by the lake for another hour before they saw it was nearing one in the morning. They walked onto the porch of the girls cabin, Teagan almost entranced by the way Harry looked underneath all the stars.
"Thank you for walking me, you didn't have to come all the way to the door," she laughed, tucking a strand of hair behind her ear.
"Nonsense, I wanted to do it," Harry replied, shaking his head. "I've also been meaning to tell you all night - I really like you with the glasses. 'S cute."
Teagan felt herself blushing fiercely. She didn't know how to respond since she didn't get complimented in such a way that often. They stared at each other for a few seconds before Teagan cleared her throat.
"Well, I'm gonna go ahead and turn in for the night. I had a really nice-"
She stopped speaking when she felt Harry's lips against her cheek - one of his hands gently resting on her hip.
"I had a really nice time with you tonight, Teagan," he whispered before pulling back to see her with a shocked expression, and a bit of blush tinting her cheeks. "Meet me down there again tomorrow night? Around ten?"
Teagan felt her chest tingle with both nervousness and excitement as she realized Harry was asking her to hang out again - just the two of them like tonight.
"Yeah, sure," she agreed with a nod. "I'll see you then."
The boys and girls would be doing separate activities during the day tomorrow from what she had read on the little agenda that had been made, so she knew they wouldn't be seeing each other again until nightfall.
"Goodnight, Teagan," Harry said with a large smile before he turned around and walked off the porch.
"Goodnight, Harry."
Teagan walked back into the cabin and shut the door behind her, her cheeks hurting from just how hard she was smiling.
"Teagan? Is that you?" She heard Callie's voice from their bedroom, and she could tell she was panicked.
In a bite of a daze, Teagan walked into their room to see Callie sitting on her bed with her phone in her hands. "Oh my god, there you are!"
Callie leapt off the bed and wrapped her arms around her best friend. "I was so worried. Someone said something to Julien about you leaving the party crying, and then when I got here you were just gone. Where have you been?"
Callie pulled Teagan back to look at her, her arms cupping the tops of her arms, and she immediately became confused at the delirious expression on her face.
"What's up with you?" Callie asked with a laugh. "Why do you look all floaty?"
"I-I was with Harry, down at the lake," Teagan said before biting down on her lower lip.
Callie's eyes widened as she slapped a hand over her mouth to muffle her scream. "Oh my god, Teagan! What did you do?"
"Nothing really, we just sat and talked. It was nice," Teagan explained, walking over to her bed to sit down. "And then he walked me back up here and he...he kissed my cheek."
Callie sat down on her own bed with a slack jaw, shaking her head. "You're shitting me! If you're telling me a lie I'm going to be very mad."
"I'm not, I promise! He asked me to meet him at the lake again tomorrow night too."
"Oh you're so going, right?" Callie asked and Tegan nodded in response. "Yay! I can't believe this is happening. You guys make such a cute couple."
"Hey, let's not get too ahead of ourselves now, okay?" Teagan said with a shake of her head, pulling her covers back to slip underneath them. "We're just friends...if you would even call us that right now."
"Teagan, he kissed you on the cheek. He's definitely interested in being more than friends with you, and he wants to hang out with you again. Oh - please take your phone this time, that way I don't panic when I can't find you, and then I see your phone on the nightstand."
Teagan cringed and removed her glasses, setting them down next to her phone that was still plugged in from earlier. "I'm sorry, he just came and asked me to go down there with him unexpectedly. I was frazzled.
Callie moved around the room to turn off the overhead light before climbing into bed herself. "Are you hoping he asks you to be his date to formal night?"
Three nights from now there was a scheduled "formal night" that was taking place at the boys cabin. Teagan knew it had been added to the agenda as an excuse for both the boys and girls to dress up and try to impress each other, and because of that, she didn't plan on going.
"I don't think I'm going to that anyway, Callie, so no."
"Even if he were to ask you, you still wouldn't go?"
"No, I don't think so. You know I don't do well with that kind of stuff," Teagan sighed, moving to lay on her back and stare at the ceiling through the darkness.
"Well, if he ends up asking you, I hope you reconsider that decision. You know you'd have a good time if you were to be there as Harry's date."
Teagan didn't respond and soon she heard Callie's soft snores filling the room. It never took her long to fall asleep after drinking, but Teagan was wide awake with only one thing on her mind.
Harry.

It was now Wednesday night - formal night. Teagan sat on the side of her bed as she watched Callie getting herself ready, sitting at the small vanity that was inside their room. Julien would be coming by the cabin in about an hour so that he could walk her over to the boys cabin for the evening.
For the past two nights, Teagan had met Harry down by the lake and they had just sat there and talked. Sometimes there would be gaps of silence in their conversation, but neither of them seemed to mind. They mostly talked about school, but every now and then they would get into pretty deep conversations about life. Those specific conversations had them understanding each other more and more, and they also realized they thought the same way about a lot of things.
Harry had walked her back to her door once they were ready to turn in, and on the second night, he gave her another kiss on the cheek just as he had before.
But last night was when Harry finally mustered up the courage and asked Teagan to be his date for formal night. Teagan froze up at the question, and as much as she wanted to say yes, all she could think about were the harsh words Danny had spoken to her at the bonfire, and she couldn't go through that again.
She told him no.
It pained Teagan to see the brightness in his moss colored eyes dim with her rejection, and it stung when he left the porch with a mumbled goodnight with his hands tucked in his pockets.
And no kiss on the cheek.
Teagan didn't blame him for not wanting to show her that kind of affection again after she had just turned him down, but she wished he had given her time to explain why. She didn't say no because she didn't want to go with him - she had so no because she didn't want to be around everyone else.
"Are you sure you really don't want to go?" Callie asked as she turned around in her chair, breaking Teagan out of her thoughts. "I think it would be kind of cute if you surprised him. Julien said he's been down in the dumps all day."
Teagan frowned at Callie's words, feeling absolutely awful at the fact that she was the cause of someone feeling beside themselves.
The truth was, Teagan had been reconsidering her choice all day, and then as she watched Callie getting ready, she couldn't help but wonder what it would feel like to get that done up herself.
"W-what if he already asked someone else?" Teagan questioned, chewing on the inside of her cheek.
Callie clicked her tongue softly against her teeth before getting up from her seat to walk across the room, taking a seat next to Teagan on her bed. "Do you really think Harry would do that?"
Teagan thought about it for a moment, and then she shook her head. "No, he wouldn't."
"Exactly, he wouldn't. If you want to go T, you need to tell me now, so I can help you get ready," Callie said, lifting a hand to tuck a strand of hair behind Teagan's ear. "I have some other dresses I had brought as options that you can try on too. You'll have to find a pair of your own shoes to wear though - you and your tiny feet."
Callie knew that Teagan would need her to assist with her hair, and probably most of her makeup, as Teagan was known to only wear mascara most of the time. Teagan looked into her friend's eyes as she weighed the situation more and more.
She knew that it would probably mean a lot to Harry if she did end up showing up, and she also didn't want to be scared of situations like this for the rest of her life. Yes, she had a bad experience the first night, but the whole reason she told herself she would be coming on this trip was because she wanted to step outside of her bubble.
If she went tonight, Teagan would be proving to herself that she could do these things. That she was brave enough to do them.
"Okay, I'll go," she told Callie with a nod.
Callie squealed and wrapped her arms around Teagan, rocking them back and forth a bit before she quickly hopped off the bed.
"Okay! These are the other dresses I brought with me," Callie said as she pulled three dresses from her closet and laid them out on her own bed.
Teagan stood, tugging her bottom lip as she tilted her head to the side and examined her options. "Well, I really only have those black wedges I could wear that would be formal enough. So maybe this one?"
She pointed to the navy blue dress in the middle, a bit intimidated as she saw how low the dress cut, but it would be the only one that would work with her shoes.
"I was hoping you'd choose that one," Callie told her with a nod. "I think it's going to look perfect on you."
For the next thirty minutes, Teagan sat down in the vanity chair that was previously occupied by Callie as her best friend did her hair. She curled it just a bit so give Teagan some nice waves, and then she also went light on her makeup. A soft blush adorned Teagan's cheeks and a champagne colored shadow coated her eyelids. She asked Callie for just a bit of eyeliner along with some mascara, but she didn't want anything on her lips - not wanting to be bothered with touching it up all night.
Teagan slipped out of her pajamas and into the dress before stepping into her wedges. She had her back facing the full length mirror in the room, having not looked at herself once during this whole process.
"You know that just because you don't look at yourself that you still exist, right?" Callie asked with a laugh, placing her hands on Teagan's shoulders. "You look fucking amazing, T. I actually think you're going to get a wave of confidence when you see just how good you look."
Teagan closed her eyes and sucked in a deep breath before nodding. "Alright, I'm gonna turn around."
Still keeping her eyes closed, Teagan turned around and shook out her hands - trying to rid herself of the nerves that were flowing throughout her whole body. She kept telling herself that Callie had to be right and she wouldn't lie to her. If she didn't look good, Callie would fix it before they left, but apparently there was nothing to fix.
After just a few more seconds, Teagan opened her eyes, a small gasp leaving her now parted lips as she took in her appearance. She had never worn this much makeup before, but she liked the way she looked, and although she had never worn a dress so revealing, it didn't feel as scary on her body as it did on the hanger.
But the best part of it all, Teagan still felt like herself. She still felt like she looked like herself, just with a bit more sparkle, and she loved it.
"Oh wow," she whispered, running her hands over the front of the dress.
The only thing that did make her a little nervous was the cleavage that was apparent, but Callie was right, it made her feel confident.
"I told you!" Callie exclaimed, standing with her hands on her hips and a proud expression on her face. "He's going to be kissing the ground you walk on by the end of the night - just you watch."
Teagan shook her head and rolled her eyes playfully. "We don't need all that."
"Well regardless of whether or not you need or want it, it's going to happen."
There's a knock at the door, and they both know that it's Julien. Callie and Teagan make their way out of their room and to the front door.
"Callie, babe, you ready to-" Julien started when Callie opened the door, but his face showed a look of shock when he saw Teagan standing there as well. "Oh wow, Teagan, you look great!"
"See, now other people are telling you too, it's not just me," Callie said, leaning over to peck Julien's cheek. "She changed her mind just as I was finishing up getting ready. How happy do you think Harry's going to be?"
"He's gonna be stoked. Poor guy has been pretty quiet today. Said something about a broken heart," Julien said as they walked off the porch and started towards the other cabin.
Teagan's jaw dropped at Julien's words. "Oh my god, please tell me you're joking. I feel so awful. He probably hates me."
Julien snickered softly and shook his head. "I'm totally pulling your leg. No broken heart talk, but he has been off."
"Well," Teagan sighed, her stomach doing flips as they walked up the steps of the cabin. "Let's hope maybe I can lift his spirits a bit."
Julien opens the door and they walk inside. Light music is already playing, and the table is already set with plates and silverware, serving dishes of all different types of food in the middle. Teagan can only guess that the boys either got this food delivered today, or they went and picked it up from somewhere.
Several of the guys were standing around in the living room with glasses in their hands. They really were going for the more formal setting tonight considering she's never seen any of these boys drinking out of anything but beer bottles and solo cups.
Teagan's eyes search for Harry as the three friends walk further into the cabin, heading towards the kitchen for drinks.
Once they rounded the corner, Harry had just turned around from pouring himself a glass of some whiskey that one of the other guys had told him to try. He stopped in his tracks when he saw Teagan in front of him - knees going weak at the sight of her.
His eyes dragged up the length of her legs before focusing in on her torso. The dress she was wearing hugged her shape perfectly, and his mouth went dry as he saw just the right amount of cleavage peeking over the top. Her makeup was simple, really only amplifying her already perfect features, and Harry could only stand there in awe.

"Might wanna close your mouth, Harry, you're starting to drool," Callie teased as she walked by him, patting his chest before her and Julien walked over to grab drinks of their own.
Teagan squirmed under Harry's gaze, wondering if he was looking at her because he thought she looked good or ridiculous. Deciding to push her insecurities to the side for a moment, she stepped forward to where she was standing right in front of Harry.
"Hi," she greeted him, grateful that her voice didn't give away just how nervous she was feeling now that she was here in his presence. "I...I changed my mind. I was wondering if you would still allow me to be your date."
Harry's heart fell to his stomach when he saw the tender smile that graced Teagan's lips as she spoke her request. He wanted nothing more than for her to have been his date tonight, but when she denied him last night, and he was met with a text this morning from Jenny asking for them to go together as friends, he had accepted her invitation.
"I-I'm sorry, Teagan," Harry said, his eyes holding hers as he shook his head. "I-I'm already here with Jenny. She texted me this morning since she knew we were both without dates, and I said yes."
Teagan's smile was quick to leave her face when she heard Harry's words. All of a sudden she felt completely foolish for coming here like this without checking in with him again. She just didn't expect that Harry would have agreed to go with someone else considering the way he had been acting from what Julien told Callie.
"Oh," she spoke, not really knowing what else she could say. "I-I should've expected that I guess."
She was lying, but she didn't want to come off as upset as she actually was.
"It's not like that, I promise," Harry assured her, going to reach out to hold her hip - something that felt familiar to him now since he had done it the last few nights, but he dropped his hand back down by his side instead. "She asked me to come together as friends. I-I'm not interested in her in that way."
Teagan wanted to believe him, but she couldn't help but feel like maybe he was just saying that to cover himself - to not make him seem like a player.
"You don't have to explain to yourself, Harry," she whispered, taking a step back from him. "This is on me. This is my fault."
Neither of them said another word as she walked around him to join up with Callie and Julien. They hadn't noticed Teagan was behind them until they turned around to join everyone in the living room.
"T, what are you doing? Where's Harry?" Callie asked, bringing a hand up to brush down her friend's arm.
"He's here with Jenny."
Callie's face fell, and she shook her head - not believing what she was hearing. "He's what?"
"He said he texted her this morning since they were both without dates, and he says he's not interested in her like that, that they're only here as friends, but I...I don't know if I believe him."
"I'll give you two a moment," Julien says, planting a quick kiss to Callie's temple before leaving the two friends to continue speaking.
"Why don't you believe him? Why do you think he'd lie to you?"
"I don't know, maybe he doesn't want me to know he's talking to other girls or something. It's no secret how naive I can be, Cal," Teagan frowns. "I feel like I should just go."
"No, no, you're definitely not doing that. You're staying. You didn't let yourself get all confident tonight just for one person to tear it all down," Callie reprimands, hooking her arm through her friend's as they head back in the living room.
Teagan could feel Harry's eyes on her as they entered the room even though he was standing next to Jenny, but she didn't look in his direction.
She didn't know if she'd be able to look at him again at all tonight.
"Alright everyone, let's sit and eat!" Julien said and they head over to the table.
Teagan sat at the end of the table with Callie beside her, and she was happy to see that Harry and Jenny were all the way at the other end on the opposite side. She kept her eyes mainly focused on her plate throughout the meal, even when speaking to Callie.
When dinner was finished, she tried to tell Callie she was actually going to be leaving, but Callie once again convinced her to stay. Teagan was currently seated on the couch in the living room, a glass of champagne in her hand. She had been sipping on it since dinner since she wasn't much of a drinker, but she wanted something to just help calm her nerves a bit.
She felt the couch slouch next to her, and she looked over to see Danny. Immediately Teagan's body tensed up, and she began to push herself off the couch to get away from him.
"No, Teagan," she heard him say and she stopped, keeping her mouth shut as they stared at each other. "It is Teagan, right?"
Teagan just nodded in response, dropping back onto the couch fully. Danny had left a decent amount of space behind them on the couch, so she didn't feel uncomfortable by his proximity, she was just worried that he was coming over to be rude to her again.
"Don't worry, you don't have to yell at me about my drinking choice tonight. It's champagne," she says, lifting her glass and wiggling it a bit.
Danny chuckles and shakes his head. "No, no that's not why I was coming over. I was actually coming over to apologize. I don't even remember what I said to you the other night, unfortunately, but both Julien and Harry told me that I was a right dick."
Teagan hummed as she took a sip of her champagne while nodding. "You were."
Danny had to admit that he appreciated Teagan's honesty. He had expected her to just roll over and accept his apology. "Well, I want to say that I'm sorry. I shouldn't have acted that way with you."
"Are you just saying that now because I've prettied myself up, or do you actually mean it? Because I've heard about you - heard you like to make people feel small."
Danny just looked at Teagan after she spoke, not really knowing how to respond to that. He knew that he could be that way, but it surprised him that she would call him out on it.
"I do actually mean it, and yeah...I can be that way," Danny admitted. "But it's really only when I'm drinking."
"Then maybe you shouldn't drink," Teagan said, now actually standing from the couch. "Sorry, but you'll have to excuse me, I'd rather go sit outside and deal with a bit of cold than listen to any more of your narcissistic bullshit."
As Teagan walked away, she chugged down the rest of her champagne and set the empty glass down. She walked past Harry and Jenny who were speaking together in the far corner of the room, but she still didn't turn to look at them.
Little did Teagan know that Harry had just watched that whole encounter - making sure that Danny didn't try anything again tonight.
Teagan could see that someone had started a fire in the pit like they had the first night, so she decided that she really would be heading outside.
Being careful in the dark and in her wedges, she made her way down the steps of the back porch and walked over to one of the chairs surrounding the pit. She sat down and wrapped her arms around herself - staring at the flames.
Ultimately, she knew it was foolish to feel so upset over Harry being here with another girl. He had asked her first, and she denied him. He had every right to end up going with someone else. Neither of them had spoken about what their intentions were by spending the past few nights with each other. It was selfish of her to expect him to just continue hanging around when he thinks she wasn't interested.
The crunching of the rocks around her calls her attention, and she looks over to see Harry standing beside her. He's holding a chocolate bar, graham crackers and a bag of marshmallows - a couple of marshmallow roasting sticks tucked under his arm.
"We missed s'mores the first night. I figured we could have ours now instead," he said, taking his spot in the seat next to her.
"Harry, you don't have to be out here with me. You can go back in there with Jenny, it's okay."
"I don't want to," Harry responded, setting all of his supplies down on the small table outside. He took notice on how tight Teagan had her arms around herself and he quickly stood again, shrugging his blazer off. He draped it over her shoulders. "Here you go."
Harry made it a point to scoot his chair closer to Teagan's this time before sitting back down. Teagan kept her eyes on him as she slid her arms into the sleeves of the blazer he had given her.
"Aren't you going to be cold?" She asked him, seeing that it left him in just a black short sleeved shirt.
"I'll manage," Harry said with a small wink as he opened the bag of marshmallows. He grabbed one of the sticks and pushed one of the marshmallows onto the end of it before extending it over to Teagan. "Go ahead and start roasting yours, and I'll get the crackers and chocolate set up."
"Thank you," Teagan said, taking it from him before holding the stick out towards the fire - making sure the marshmallow was in the flames. "For your jacket and for this."
She made sure to pay attention to her marshmallow, but still watched as Harry put two crackers down on the table with a piece of chocolate on top of each of them. Soon he followed the same thing he did for Teagan by putting a marshmallow on the end of the stick, and then held it in the flame beside hers.
"How dark do you let yours get?" Harry asked, leaning his body a bit closer to hers.
"Completely burned," Teagan laughed while giving him a shrug. "It's the only right way."
"Can't argue with you there."
Their usual silence that occurred overtook them for a moment before Teagan decided to speak again. "You're sure she's not going to care that you're out here with me?"
"Not at all," Harry said with a shake of his head. "Like I told you, we're just friends, Teagan. She knows I'm not interested in her like that, and she also knows I'm interested in someone else. Only person I've really talked to about that other than Julien."
Teagan could feel the way her stomach dropped when Harry mentioned being interested in someone other than Jenny. She didn't realize that he was talking about her without telling her directly. She thought maybe Harry had just asked her to this as a friend as well, just like Jenny had asked him in that way.
"Well, I'm glad you have a couple of people you can talk to about those things," Teagan said honestly. The only person she had was Callie. "Is this girl that you like on this trip?"
Harry smirked softly to himself when it became apparent that Teagan had no idea that he had been referring to her. "Yeah, she is."
Teagan nodded as she pulled her marshmallow from the fire, blowing on it. She laid it down onto one of the cracker and chocolate stacks that Harry had made, and he was quick to assist her in putting another cracker on top of the marshmallow. Carefully, Harry applied enough pressure to the top cracker so that Teagan was able to pull the stick out, and have the marshmallow stay put.
"Thanks...again."
Harry chuckled at her appreciativeness, taking the stick from her to set it down on the table, and then he lifted up her completed s'more, handing it over to her. Teagan looked and watched as some of the chocolate melted and she smiled - she couldn't remember the last time she had had one of these.
It was only a few seconds later that Harry finished up with his marshmallow as well, and he followed the same process as she did, holding up his s'more to 'cheers' hers. This caused Teagan to giggle, and Harry was so happy to hear such a melodic sound come from her again.
They each took a bite from their creations, and Teagan hummed, her eyes slipping shut as she tilted her head back while chewing. Harry was satisfied with the delicious treat in his mouth, but his eyes were solely on the beautiful girl next to him.
"Good?" he asked, bringing his thumb up to clean up the chocolate he knew he had smeared on his lower lip.
Teagan's eyes opened, and she looked over to Harry just as he put the pad of his thumb in his mouth - sucking the chocolate off. The sight caused a tingling in her lower abdomen, and she hardly noticed how her eyes were now fixated on his perfect pink lips.
"Teagan?"
Harry's voice brought her back to reality, and she cleared her throat, realizing she hadn't answered the question he asked. "Yes...it's good," she said. "Really good."
Harry couldn't help but smirk to himself when he had caught her staring at him in such a way. His action wasn't done for any particular purpose, or with any type of connotation behind it, but it clearly had made Teagan feel something.
They finished off their s'mores, and Teagan sighed as she looked back to the fire.
"So if your crush is on this trip, that means she's here at formal night too, right?" Teagan questioned, shoving her hands into the pockets of Harry's blazer to keep them warm.
"Mhmm," Harry responded with a nod, holding his own hands out towards the flames.
"Then why are you out here with me? You should be in there trying to sweep her off her feet."
Harry held it in for as long as he could, but eventually he ended up bursting with laughter, shaking his head. Teagan looked over to him stunned for a moment, and after a while she ended up joining him with small laughs. His laugh was beautiful, and so contagious.
"Teagan, love, you're really not catching on, are you?" Harry looked over to her, his laughter dying down enough for him to speak. "I'm already with her."
Teagan's heart skipped a beat or two when it finally did click in her mind.
He was talking about her the whole time.
The flush that overtook Teagan's face and neck spread fast, and she quickly brought her hands out of the jacket pockets to cover her face. "Oh, I'm such an idiot."
"Hey, no you're not," Harry said, reaching over to gently wrap his hands around Teagan's wrists, pulling her hands away from her face. Her wrists were so small, his long fingers practically swallowing them. "It was cute that you weren't catching on."
Teagan looked into Harry's evergreen eyes, the sound of the fire crackling surrounding them.
"I haven't told you yet, but you look incredible," Harry complimented her with honesty. "I like you fresh faced like you are every day as well, but this was such a nice surprise. You don't know how much it pained me to have to tell you I was here with Jenny."
Harry's last sentence made it to where Teagan could just skip over his flattery, not liking attention like that, and she really never knew how to respond when people said those things to her. "I already told you, it's okay. Like I said, that's completely on me. I should've never told you 'no' to begin with, I was just scared."
With Teagan still in his hold, Harry ran his thumbs up and down her skin, tilting his head to each side - pressing a kiss to the insides of her wrists. "Well, I'm so happy that you're here. I'm sorry I didn't kiss you goodnight last night. I'm not going to lie, I was embarrassed by your rejection, and then I got even more embarrassed thinking about you possibly noticing, and seeing me like that. I was just trying to leave as soon as possible."
Teagan licked over her bottom lip as Harry spoke, and soon his focus was on her heart shaped lips. He looked just like she had a few minutes prior, his attention completely focused on one thing.
"Do you think I could make up for it now?" He asked, and Teagan felt butterflies erupt in her stomach.
"Yes, I would like that."
If Harry hadn't been holding her wrists, Teagan's hands would absolutely be shaking. Harry moved closer to her, and lifted her arms up to wrap around his neck. His hands blindly found her hips, and he gave them a soft squeeze.
"Might be a little different this time, if that's okay," Harry joked. He was always one to crack a joke or two to try and disguise his nervousness.
Teagan just nodded in response, allowing Harry to close almost all space between them now.
After what seemed like an eternity, Harry's lips landed on Teagan's, and a spark instantly began to consume the both of them. The kiss was slow and gentle, their lips beginning to massage together after a few moments - Harry tilting his head to the side to deepen it just a bit. He sighed through his nose as he moved his hands to Teagan's back, one against the small of it, and one resting between her shoulder blades.
Teagan let her hand wander up into Harry's curls, the other staying wrapped around his neck. She thought that when he kissed her, that her mind was going to run a mile a minute, but it didn't. The only thing filling her brain at the moment was Harry, and his plush lips against hers.
As much as neither of them wanted it to end, they both seemed to pull away at the same time. Teagan's eyes remained closed for a while longer, but Harry opened his almost instantly, wanting to gauge her reaction, and see if she felt the same thing he did. Teagan's eyelids fluttered open, and a smile immediately pulled onto her lips as she saw Harry already staring down at her so intently.
"That was nice," she mused, the fluttering in her stomach showing no signs of ceasing.
"Really nice," Harry agreed, leaning down again to knock the side of his nose against Teagan's, lips hovering over hers once more. "Mind if we do it again?"
Teagan laughed softly while shaking her head. "I don't mind at all."
This time as soon as Harry's lips met hers, Teagan grew a little more brave, and moved herself to sit in Harry's lap - her legs draping over to the one side. Harry was surprised, but it made him realize that Teagan was trusting of him. His arms wrapped around her torso to have her pressed fully against him, and he decided to further the kiss just a bit. Harry's lips parted, and he paused, giving Teagan the invitation to progress it further as well, if she felt comfortable. If not, they could just go back to how they had been kissing previously.
Teagan sucked in a deep breath through her nose before letting her tongue venture out of her mouth and into Harry's, feeling his own tongue gliding against hers once he knew that coast was clear. She had never been this confident when kissing a boy before, but Harry made her feel comfortable so easily, and it didn't feel like she was pushing herself to do more than she wanted.
With their tongues rolling against one another's, Teagan kept one hand in Harry's hair, but her other hand ran over one of his toned shoulders, giving the muscles there a squeeze. Harry didn't allow his hands to wander too low on Teagan's back, not wanting to make her feel like he wanted anything further than just this. He wanted to take this at her pace.
"Hey T," Callie's voice sounded from the porch. Harry and Teagan both jumped, causing the kiss to end once again due to the extra noise. Callie was standing so far up on the porch that she couldn't see the couple at the fire pit below, but Teagan still shoved her face into Harry's neck to try and hide how mortified she was that her best friend had just interrupted the start of a make out session.
"Yes, Cal?" Teagan called back once she lifted her head again, looking down into Harry's eyes, her hand still lazily running through the back of his curls.
"Julien is about to walk me back over to the cabin. Do you wanna-" Callie quickly cut herself off as she walked further onto the porch and saw Teagan seated in Harry's lap. "Oh...I'm sorry, I didn't realize you weren't out here alone."
"It's okay. Hi Callie," Harry said sheepishly, feeling his own face heat up a bit now that it was obvious what was going on prior to Callie being out here.
Clearing her throat, Callie looked to Teagan again. "I was just wanting to know if you wanted to walk with Julien and I, but you're more than welcome to stay here."
"No, it's okay, I should probably head back too. Big lake day tomorrow, and I'm kind of tired," Teagan admitted, looking over to Callie. "I'll meet you inside in a few."
Once Callie was back inside, Teagan and Harry fell into a fit of light giggles as Teagan dropped her head against Harry's shoulder.
"So you're going down to the lake during the day tomorrow with everyone?" Harry asked, running his hands up and down Teagan's back. Now that their feelings were out there for each other, it's like Harry couldn't keep his hands to himself.
"Yeah, I am. Will you be there too?"
"I will."
Teagan and Harry shared a few more short kisses before they stood. She helped him gather the s'mores supplies he had brought out, and once back inside, she shrugged off his blazer and gave it back to him. He walked her out onto the front porch behind Callie and Julien.
"See you tomorrow," Teagan said, lifting her hand to cup one of Harry's cheeks.
"See you tomorrow," Harry said in agreement, leaning down to steal one more kiss before she left him for the night.

The next morning, Teagan stood in front of the mirror in her black bathing suit, head tilted to the side. It was the most revealing bikini she had ever bought, and she only bought it because Callie had gone shopping with her that day - convincing her that she couldn't leave without it. The bottoms were high waisted and a bit cheeky, the top cutting low in the middle to reveal a nice amount of her cleavage.
Callie walked into the room, having been in the kitchen getting the cooler together for the day at the lake, and she gasped upon seeing Teagan.
"I was so right," Callie said, a proud tone to her voice as she rested her hands on her hips. "I knew you couldn't leave without buying that. You're hot as hell, T."
Teagan could feel the heat in her cheeks at Callie's compliment. "I don't know, I think I might just wear that red one I have."
"Oh no you don't," Callie reached out and wrapped her arms around Teagan's waist to pull her back from her suitcase she was starting to rummage through. "This suit is beautiful on you. You look amazing, and I know that we dress for ourselves, but I can't help but think someone else is going to love it even more than I do."
Harry was all Teagan could think about when trying to go to bed last night. It took her forever to fall asleep because all she was doing was replaying their kisses in her head, and then she felt that giddy feeling in her stomach about knowing she was going to be seeing him again today.
She decided to follow Callie's direction and leave this particular bathing suit on, grabbing her white crochet cover up. Pulling the cover up over her head, Teagan slipped her feet into her black slides.
"Are you ready to head out?" She asked, gathering her and Callie's tote bag that had their towels and sunscreen in it.
"Yep, just gotta grab the cooler on the way out."
Teagan and Callie head out of the cabin, pulling their sunglasses down onto the bridges of their noses as they head down the trail towards the lake.
"Oh, I probably should've waited for Julien, I don't know where we're-"
"Cal, it's okay," Teagan cuts her off while laughing. "I've gone here every night but last night with Harry, remember?"
"Oh yeah, duh," Callie snorted, shaking her head. "God, who decided for us to start our day at eleven? I'm still hungover from last night."
"What's it called when you start drinking again to get rid of your hangover? Hair of the dog?"
Callie rolled her eyes playfully at Teagan. "Yes, that's the term, and that's what I intend on doing."
Teagan and Callie made it to the lake and set up their own little spot right along the bank. There weren't too many people here yet so they decided to go ahead and eat the lunches they had packed for themselves. The crochet cover up stayed right on Teagan's body, and she honestly didn't know if she'd be taking it off - she'd avoid getting in the water if it meant she didn't have to reveal her body to everyone like that.
"There's my girl!"
Teagan and Callie quickly looked over their shoulders to see Julien heading their way. Callie squealed and popped up from her spot, racing over to him to throw her arms around his neck - giving him a kiss. Teagan smiled as she watched her friends, but her attention was soon captured by the one who had sent her mind racing all night last night.
Harry walked down the pathway with a black backwards cap and bright yellow swim trunks. There was a white tank top adorning his torso, and Teagan's eyes trailed over the ink that adorned his olive toned skin.

Teagan quickly cleared her throat and looked away, staring at the water rippling in front of her. Harry and the guys were setting up their spot on the other side of the bank, and Teagan had to focus on regulating her breathing to calm her nerves.
"T, let's get in the water! C'mon," Callie yelled as she pulled her coverup off to reveal her own bikini.
Teagan watched as Julien and Callie rushed into the water - clinging to each other as if their lives depended on it. Her friend was all smiles and giggles as she clung to her boyfriend, and for the first time ever, she felt jealous of her best friend. She wished that she had her friend's confidence, and she also wished she was able to worry less about what everyone else thinks like Callie.
Slowly, Teagan stood up, hands trembling as she reached for the bottom of her own coverup. She removed it from her body, dropping it down onto the towel below her.
"Holy shit," Harry heard Danny say from behind him, and he glanced over his shoulder at him.
"What?"
"Fucking nerdy girl has a smoking body," he laughed in disbelief.
Harry quickly looked in the direction of where Danny's eyes were, and he saw Teagan approaching the edge of the lake. The dress she wore last night revealed to Harry that she had the most beautiful shape to her body, but seeing her in this bikini was doing something to him.
"I really shouldn't have gotten on her bad side," Danny continued, but Harry kept his eyes on Teagan. "I completely ruined my chances of hitting that."
"Dude, what the fuck?" Harry asked, now looking back to Danny.
"What? Don't act like you're not seeing what I'm seeing right now," Danny said, not even bothering to look over at Harry. "I'm sure she's a virgin too. She's gotta be with how shy she is. I bet you her pussy is so fucking-"
Danny didn't get to finish his sentence as Harry's hands came down, and shoved against his chest. "Hey, don't you dare talk about her like that!"
Everyone heard Harry yell, including Teagan, Callie and Julien who were messing around in the water, and they all turned their attention to the encounter between the two boys.
"What the hell is your problem, Styles?" Danny snapped back, pushing his own hands against Harry's chest now. "Why do you care about what I say when it comes to her?"
"You're fucking disgusting to be talking about any woman like that," Harry said with a shake of his head.
Julien quickly got out of the water to come to the defense of his friend. Callie and Teagan followed behind him as they approached the disagreement.
"You've never cared before, so why now that I'm talking about her?" Danny asked, his attention fully on Harry until he saw Teagan walking up behind him. "Speaking of her, there she is."
Harry turned around to see Teagan, and he quickly walked forward, taking her hand in his. "Come on," he said, beginning to pull her in the opposite direction of Danny. "I don't want you hearing what he's been saying."
Teagan's eyes wandered over the side of Harry's face as they continued to walk, the rocks crunching underneath their feet. "What's going on? Were you guys fighting because of something he said?"
Harry just nodded, his jaw tense as he tried to stop himself from getting so worked up about it.
"Oh I see how it is, Styles!" Danny exclaimed from behind them, and Harry's hold on Teagan's hand tightened slightly. "You're the one who probably took her virginity anyway."
Harry stopped walking, swallowing harshly as he clamped his eyes shut. Teagan felt her face flushing, realizing the nature of Harry and Danny's disagreement once she heard his words. "Harry, it's okay," she whispered, running her free hand over his bare chest since his tank top was back over with his belongings. "Let's just keep walking."
"I'm trying so hard to do the right thing right now, Teagan, but I also don't want him to get away with talking about you like that."
"But he's not worth it," she said honestly, moving her hand from his chest to cup his face - running the pad of her thumb over his cheekbone. "And we know the truth, and that's all that matters. Let him think whatever he wants."
Harry lifted his hand to remove Teagan's sunglasses, needing to see her crystal blue eyes in order to fully calm himself down. Teagan gave him a soft smile, lifting her hand to copy his actions and remove the sunglasses from his face. She sucked in a deep breath at the sight of his piercing green eyes, having it make her go a little weak at the knees.
"He's probably just mad because I called him out last night," Teagan said with a shrug. "C'mon."
She gave his hand a squeeze before they continued to walk. They could still hear Danny shouting in the distance, and Teagan glanced over her shoulder one more time to see Julien pointing towards the walkway back to the cabins as Danny started to collect his stuff.
Teagan turned forward again, her and Harry giving each other their sunglasses back to shield their eyes from the bright rays beating down upon them.
"Did you sleep okay?" Harry spoke up after a while, moving his hand to actually lace his fingers with Teagan's since their hands had just been clasped together until this point.
"Once I fell asleep, yeah," Teagan responded with a nod, looking down at her feet as they continued to walk.
"I had a hard time falling asleep last night too."
They stopped walking and stared at each other for a moment before realizing they were near one of the restroom buildings that were on the property.
"Why did you have a hard time falling asleep?" Teagan asked before tugging her bottom lip through her teeth.
Harry's eyes dropped to her movements, feeling the immediate urge to have his lips pressed against hers again. He quickly pulled her around the back of the building for the restrooms, covering them from anyone that might come up the pathway from the lake, before gently pressing Teagan against it.
Teagan stared at Harry with slightly wide eyes as his hands moved to her hips, and she placed her hands against his chest - fingertips resting against the bottom of his swallows.
"Because I couldn't stop thinking about you. And I just kept thinking about kissing you," Harry answered honestly, licking over his lips. "What about you?"
"The same reason as you, and I was so excited about seeing you again today."
It wasn't usual for Teagan to speak this openly about her feelings with someone so early on, but it was different with Harry. She knew from the moment their lips connected that he was on the same page as her as far as feelings go.
This time Harry didn't ask before dipping his head down, his lips slotting perfectly against hers. Teagan let out a soft sigh through her nose, moving one of her hands up and over Harry's shoulder before running it over the back of his neck and into his hair after pulling his hat off his head - letting it drop on the ground behind him. Her stomach was doing flips as Harry parted his lips, hers mirroring his soon after to allow their tongues to roll against one another.
Harry moved forward a bit so his chest was pressed firmly against Teagan's, and she gasped into Harry's mouth once his hips made contact with hers. Her body was tingling all over it, and it was obvious the heated kiss was making her want more than just a make out session. Harry's palms smoothed up and down Teagan's sides as one of his knees jetted out, parting her legs so he could get even closer.
"Teagan," Harry said, pulling away from the kiss just barely - his top lip still staying connected to hers. "Can...can I touch you?"
Teagan felt her face flush at Harry's request, her fingertips playing with his curls. She nodded softly, and a small whimper left her lips when she felt Harry's knee press against her yearning core.
"I don't mean to sound rude, but have you done this before?"
The laughter that bellowed out of Teagan's chest couldn't be stopped even if she tried. Harry pulled away a bit to look down at her, a smile of his own covering his lips at the sound of her giggles.
"I might be shy, Harry, but I've probably done more than you think. I had two serious boyfriends throughout highschool."
Now Harry was the one to get flushed, feeling a bit silly for assuming that Teagan hadn't done much just because she was more shy than most girls he knew.
"Sorry, I just didn't want to make you feel uncomfortable, or make you feel like I was pressuring you to do something," Harry admitted and Teagan responded with a nod of her head.
"I know, and I thank you for that, but I'm...I'm not a virgin. I'm very aware of what I like when it comes to these things."
For some reason, Teagan admitting to Harry that she knew what satisfied her caused Harry to start growing hard in his swim trunks. Teagan's eyebrows lifted slightly when she felt the bulge against her thigh, but it also made her a bit more confident knowing that she could have such an effect on him.
"Well, I hope I'm able to figure out what you like too," Harry said, ghosting his lips over Teagan's. The sultry tone to his voice had Teagan growing wet already, and she was eager for Harry to prove himself to her. They removed each others sunglasses again, tossing them to the ground beside them.
Teagan sucked in a deep breath as Harry's hand slid down her stomach and into her bikini bottoms. She could hear her heart pounding all the way into her ears. Harry's eyes held hers as he ran the tips of his index and middle fingers through her slit - biting down on his bottom lip to keep from moaning already.
"So soft," he whispered, giving a quick peck to her lips.
Slowly, Harry trailed his fingers up to Teagan's clit and began to rub circles against it. Teagan couldn't keep her eyes open any longer, so overtaken by pleasure, and Harry had hardly even touched her. Her eyes rolled into the back of her skull, and she tilted her head back to rest it on the building behind her.
It had been a while since Teagan had been pleased by any fingers other than her own. She wasn't one to masturbate often, but even when she did, it obviously didn't feel as good as when someone else was doing it. Now that the one giving her this kind of pleasure was Harry, the boy she had a crush on for almost a whole year, her head was reeling.
Harry rocked his hips forward a bit, using Teagan's thigh to relieve the pressure building in his groin. Leaning down, he connected his forehead to hers once again, puffs of Teagan's breath hitting against his lips.
"Feel good?" Harry asked, pressing a quick kiss to her lips. "Need me to switch anything up?"
Teagan moaned while shaking her head, one of her hands gripping to his bicep, and the other gripping to his hip.
"N-no," she whimpered, circling her hips slightly to match the movements of his fingers. "Feels so good, Harry."
Harry moved his fingers down, using his index and ring fingers to spread Teagan apart before sinking his middle finger inside. She let out a loud mewl of pleasure, and Harry quickly covered her mouth with his, instantly slipping his tongue into her mouth to swallow her noises.
As much as Harry loved hearing them, they were out where others could hear, and the last thing he wanted was for someone to try and investigate any noises coming from where they were standing.
Teagan could barely focus on the movements of her tongue against Harry's, her body beginning to shake from the burn that was growing in her lower abdomen. Curling his finger, Harry began to run the tip of it against Teagan's g-spot.
Moving her lips away from Harry's, Teagan shoved her face into the side of his neck, kissing over his skin to try and conceal her moans. Harry tilted his head to the side, giving Teagan more room to explore. His hips jolted forward in surprise when he felt her small hand reach down, beginning to palm him through his swim trunks.
"I-is this okay?" Teagan asked, lifting her head to hover her lips over Harry's - their eyes staying on each other.
Harry nodded, and Teagan picked up her movements just slightly - applying a bit more pressure. When Harry moaned out in pleasure, Teagan closed the distance between their mouths to engage in another kiss. Needing more friction, Teagan lifted her leg to hook it against Harry's hip, and he moved the hand that wasn't pleasing her to the crease of her knee to keep her steady.
Knowing that Teagan was properly warmed up, Harry sunk his ring finger into her as well, moving his pinky up to take its previous spot of keeping her spread for him. Teagan gasped into Harry's mouth, and their tongues reconnected with hardly any coordination, but neither of them cared.
As much as Teagan wanted to let her hand wander into Harry's swim trunks to stroke him completely, she knew she wasn't ready for that just yet. She had insecurities when it came to that, unfortunately.
Her first year in college, she had agreed to go to a party with Callie. Wanting to be brave and break out of the shy stigma that followed her from high school, Teagan started to hook up with a guy she had been talking to almost all night. It was the first time she was going to try anything sexual with someone she wasn't in a committed relationship with.
When the time came for her to have to perform, she had tried stroking him off to get him in the mood, but the guy kept trying to change everything she was doing, and eventually Teagan got so overwhelmed she had to stop.
That was hands down the most embarrassing night of her life, and since then, she hadn't attempted to hook up with anyone - until now.
"Harry," Teagan whined, moving to rest her forehead against his after separating these lips once more. "I'm..."
Teagan was shy when it came to using certain words during sexual acts such as these, and it bothered her that she was the way she was.
"I know," Harry said, leaning in to press a kiss to the corner of Teagan's lips.
Truth was, Harry was feeling a bit insecure himself at the moment. He knew he was pleasing Teagan, that was for certain, but he was embarrassed at the fact that he felt like he too was about to come just from her palming his erection through his clothing. It was high school the last time this happened to him, and he was scared that Teagan would judge him for it.
Teagan lifted her hand that wasn't palming him to grip to his shoulder, throwing her head back again as she felt the band in her stomach snap - jaw going slack while her moan got caught in the back of her throat. Her entire body felt floaty as she came down from her high, feeling herself continuing to clench around Harry's digits that were helping her ride through it.
Harry began to crumble when he felt Teagan's orgasm cover his fingers, and then he saw the euphoric look on her face. That is what did him in. Whimpering, he leaned forward and rested his forehead in the crease of Teagan's neck, feeling himself finish inside his swim trunks. He moaned as she coaxed him through it, unknowingly on her end, and he could feel himself turning pink from embarrassment.
Once she had completely come to, Teagan felt herself still rubbing against Harry with her hand before he reached down to take her wrist.
"T-Teagan, stop," he gasped, overly sensitive from his orgasm.
The bliss that Teagan felt came crashing down, and she quickly pulled both of her hands away from Harry completely as his fingers stilled inside of her.
"I'm...I'm sorry," she stammered, her heart sinking as she thought this was a repeat of her most traumatic sexual encounter to date. "I-I thought that I was doing okay. I'm sorry, Ha-"
Harry quickly cut her off with his lips, using it as a distraction to remove his fingers from her without causing too much discomfort on her end. "Are you thinking you didn't do a good job?" He asked as he tapped his nose against hers. "Teagan, I came."
Teagan's eyes widened, not even realizing that's what happened. "Oh," she said, looking down to see the wet patch on his shorts. "Oh...but yes, to answer your question, I thought I was bad at what I was doing."
"I thought you would think this was gross," Harry laughed softly, Teagan still catching the sight of the pink tint of his cheeks.
"Not at all," she assured him, reaching out to cup his face with her hands. "That's actually really hot, Harry."
"Yeah?"
Teagan giggled, giving him a nod. "Yeah."
For a few more minutes, the couple leaned against the building, continuing to share sloppy kisses before Harry gave her a couple of pats to her hips.
"C'mon, let's go get cleaned up and head back. I'm sure Callie's worried about you."
"Trust me, Harry, if I'm with you, Callie is just fine. She's been trying to get me to talk to you for the past year almost," Teagan admitted as she and Harry began to walk towards the front of the building to freshen up in the bathrooms.
Harry looked down at her, raising an eyebrow. "Almost a whole year?"
Teagan nodded before clearing her throat. "I may, or may not, have confessed to her a couple months after we had our run in that I had a crush on you. I was just scared to talk to you - didn't really even think you remembered running into me."
"Oh trust me, I remembered you," Harry told her, releasing their hands as they started in the direction of their own designated bathrooms. "Asked Connor your name not too long after it happened when I saw he had a class with you."
Harry smirked as he slipped through the door, leaving Teagan a little dumbfounded. She had no idea that Harry had noticed her in that way, and it caused her heart to flutter at the realization that they both had been yearning for each other without knowing.

It was the following night, and Teagan and Harry were hauled up in her room in the girls cabin. Callie had gone over to the boys cabin to spend the last night with Julien, and Harry figured he would just stay here in Teagan's room with her and sleep in Callie's bed to give them some privacy.
Teagan didn't mind. She already felt extremely comfortable with Harry, and she knew that he wouldn't take advantage of this situation.
He wasn't that kind of guy.
"One wrong move and you're done for, Styles," Teagan smirked, sitting crisscrossed with the checkerboard in front of her - Harry across from her in the same position.
Harry shushed her playfully, finger to his mouth as he shook his head. "You're cheating. Don't try and distract me when I'm trying to concentrate."
Teagan giggled, bringing her hand up to press her fingertips to her lips - attempting to stifle her laughter. Harry's eyes lifted from the board to cut at her, and she lowered her hand as her expression went stoic.
"That's what I thought," Harry mumbled, biting down on his cheeks to stop the smirk that wanted to make an appearance.
Their banter had been playful all night, Harry having already been there for the past two hours. They had already watched a movie in the living room, and Teagan grew a bit uncomfortable when some of the other girls came out of their rooms.
It wasn't that the girls were trying to come and watch the movie, or talk to Harry, but it was the way they stood with their jaws dropped when they rounded the corner - obviously surprised to see someone like Harry cuddled up on the couch with someone like Teagan.
Callie and Teagan hadn't spoken to many of the other girls as most of them were just there to hook up with whatever frat boy had invited them. It seemed like the two best friends were the only ones who were actually enjoying the trip for camping as intended.
Harry sucked in a deep breath, moving one of his red pieces to another square.
"Oooo," Teagan teased with a shake of her head, clicking her tongue against the back of her teeth. "Wrong move."
"No wait," Harry said, reaching out to move his piece and back.
"That's cheating, Harry!"
"No it's not! You're allowed one redo every game," he defended.
"Oh, you're so full of shit!"
"Language, Teagan!" Harry scolded. "Never heard you use such a vulgar word in front of me before. I'm offended."
Teagan rolled her eyes. "I can't help it that I call it like I see it."
Reaching forward, Teagan quickly moved Harry's piece back in the place that he had moved it from, and then made the move she had been eying. That move made her win.
Harry groaned and rubbed his hands over his face.
"Don't be a sore loser," Teagan pouted, dragging her fingertip down her cheek to act as a tear.
"Damn, you're mean," Harry chuckled as he began to put the board and pieces back into the box.
"I'm just very competitive. And I talk smack if I'm victorious."
Harry tossed the box onto the floor and snagged Teagan's hands before she could even realize what was happening. He pulled them up, making her wrap her arms around his neck, before his hands rested on her ribcage.
The tips of their noses tapped against each other, Teagan's breath getting caught in the back of her throat. She didn't mind the close proximity to Harry, it's just something she hadn't had in a long time.
"So, as the winner, what would you like?" Harry asked, tilting his chin up a bit to press soft kisses to Teagan's top lip, and then her bottom.
A shiver ran up Teagan's spine, but not a bad one. It was one that she found enticing, and she was trying to find the will to be confident.
"Do you..." she trailed off, pausing to take in a deep breath as she shut her eyes.
"T," Harry whispered, his breath hitting her lips. "Tell me."
Teagan chewed on the inside of her bottom lip, finding herself growing more hungry for Harry when he called her by her nickname.
"Do you think we could do a little more than we did yesterday?" Teagan spat it out quickly, knowing that if she didn't, she wouldn't ever say it.
Harry closed his eyes as well, swallowing the groan that threatened to leave him. Teagan was more to him than the casual hookups he's had throughout college. He knew that however far they decided to go tonight, that it would be intimate for him.
That was something Harry hadn't experienced with someone for the past few years.
"Of course, whatever you feel comfortable with," Harry assured her, running his hands up and down her sides. "How about you lay down? I'll lock the door and turn off the lights."
Teagan nodded, swallowing harshly as she laid back on the bed. Her eyes followed Harry as he reached over to the nightstand, flicking the lamp on before walking around the room to lock the door as he stared. He flicked the light switch, leaving just the light from the lamp and the soft moonlight coming through the window - illuminating Teagan's face.
"Can I take this off," Harry asked, tugging at the hem of his hoodie.
"Mhmm," Teagan hummed, sitting up a bit to remove her own at the same time.
It left Harry in a pair of skinny jeans and a loose fitting white shirt while Teagan was in a pair of biker shorts and a sports bra. Harry's eyes trailed over her, doing his best not to seem like a creep, but the curves of her body had him twitching to life in his briefs.
Harry made his way back over to the bed, hovering over Teagan with his forearms on each side of her head. "How do you wanna do this?"
"M-maybe we'll just start with making out, and then we can see where it takes us?"
"Sounds perfect, love," Harry said before leaning down to connect their lips.
Teagan's hands came up to rest against Harry's shoulders as she tilted her head, being the one to deepen the kiss. She felt the tip of his tongue tap against her lips, and she separated them blindly. Their tongues lapped against one another while Teagan raised her knees, pressing them to Harry's hips.
Harry moved his body to be perfectly slotted against hers, one hand moving to cup her hip, while the other played with the strands of hair that had fallen freely against her pillow.
The longer they made out, the more at ease Teagan felt with everything. There were little sparks igniting and then bursting all over her body, and she knew she needed more.
Curling her fingers around the bottom of Harry's shirt, she began to raise it from his torso, and he lifted himself to assist her in getting it off the rest of the way. Their eyes communicated with each other as Harry glided the tips of her fingers along the band of Teagan's sports bra.
"You can," she whispered, raising her arms above her head.
Teagan was already flushed, both from nervousness and from how riled up just having Harry's lips on hers. His tongue in her mouth made her feel like he was teasing her, even though she knew he wasn't.
Harry slowly shed Teagan off the bra, keeping his eyes on hers as he tossed it onto the floor. She gave him a subtle nod, and his eyes flashed down to trace over her abdomen.
She was beautiful, easily the most beautiful girl he had ever had the pleasure of being with in such a way. Her porcelain skin was adorned with freckles over her shoulders, and she had a birthmark on the outer part of her right breast.
Teagan shifted slightly under Harry's gaze, his expression one that she couldn't make out.
"You're so gorgeous, Teagan," Harry admired, and she felt like she could almost cry.
There was a gleam in his eye as he spoke the words, and that in itself showed Teagan that he meant it.
"Thank you, Harry," she said, giving him a small smile as she pushed her emotions to the side.
Biting down on her bottom lip, she reached out for the buckle of his belt, and undid it. Their eyes never leaving each other's faces as she then moved onto the button and zipper of his jeans. Harry stood from the bed to push them down, stepping out of them. He stayed to the side as Teagan reached up to the waistband off her biker shorts, and she pulled them off, revealing her small white lace thong.
Harry could have fallen out on the floor right there at the sight of Teagan. Laying back down, she tucked her bottom lip into her teeth, and Harry moved to hover over her once more.
"Are you sure?" He asked, feeling a bit breathless himself.
He couldn't remember the last time that sex was going to hold such a meaning to him, and he only hoped that Teagan was feeling the same way - that this meant something.
"I'm sure. I trust you, Harry."
Teagan lifted her hand to cup Harry's cheek, the pad of her thumb swiping over his bottom lip. Both of their hands moved down to the last part of clothing on each other, their bodies moving to remove them easily, and goosebumps erupted over both of them.
After a moment, they allowed their eyes to take in each other, Teagan swallowing harshly when she noticed the true size of Harry's cock. She had felt it when she was palming him yesterday, and she knew he was well equipped, but he was definitely going to the biggest she had ever had.
It frightened her a bit considering she hadn't had sex since the summer before college started. It was goodbye sex then, saying goodbye to her second highschool boyfriend before they both went on opposite ends of the country to go to school.
"Did you bring a condom?" She asked, her hands wandering all over his toned abdomen.
"I did," Harry nodded. "I hope you don't think this was my only intention by coming over here tonight."
Teagan smiled softly at him. "I don't think that at all. I kind of had a feeling this would happen tonight...I wanted it to happen. With you."
Harry leaned down to press a few quick kisses to Teagan's lips before getting off the bed for the last time before they got to where they truly wanted to be. He removed the condom from his wallet, opening it up with his teeth. Teagan's eyes were fixed on him as he gave himself a couple of strokes, and then rolled the rubber over his hard length.
Teagan's hands found Harry's biceps blindly once he was on top of her once more, and she felt one of his hands caressing the outside of her thigh. He ran his fingertips through her folds, and she mewled softly at the contact. She had been aching for him since the first kiss they shared tonight, and it was a relief to finally have some tangency where she needed him most.
"Are you ready? Or do you need me to get you there?"
"I'm ready," Teagan confirmed, leaning up to press her lips against Harry's. She let them stay there for a while, both of them taking in a deep breath as she pulled away. "You may just have to go a little slow, and give me some time. It's been a while, and you're...you're probably the biggest I've had."
Harry took note of the way deep red brushed over Teagan's cheeks at her confession. In any other situation, it would make him full of himself, but with her it didn't really matter that he was the biggest she ever had. Right now, he just wanted to make sure that he made her feel good, and overall, he wanted this to be special for the both of them.
"I'll take care of you," Harry comforted her, his hands holding her hips, rubbing his thumbs along her skin in a soothing motion. "You tell me if anything I do is uncomfortable, okay?"
Teagan nodded, and Harry removed one hand from her to line himself with her entrance. He ran his tip through her arousal a few times to coat it, before beginning to slowly push inside.
A gasp left Teagan as her eyes widened, and she gripped to Harry's skin. He could feel her nails digging into him, but he didn't care. If it made her feel better, she could do whatever she needed to him. Harry stopped, just letting the tip of him rest in her for now, and his lips parted, a small whine escaping him as he felt her clenching around his most sensitive part.
"Sorry, sorry, sorry," Teagan repeated, closing her eyes tight. "I just...I need-"
Harry leaned down to press a kiss to Teagan's forehead, and then her temple, doing his best to soothe her. "Don't you dare apologize. Take all the time you need, baby. I'll move when you're ready."
Teagan felt tears pricking in the corners of her eyes, not because it was painful, but because she was so overwhelmed with everything. Sure, there was a bit of a burning stretch due to Harry being inside of her, but she knew it would subside, and it wasn't too much for her to take.
She was trying to get herself together as fast as possible, knowing that it was probably uncomfortable for Harry to not even be quarter of the way in. Teagan could feel his delicate touches all over her skin, his lips grazing over her jawline and her cheekbones, and she felt herself sinking into the mattress.
"Okay, you can keep going," she whispered, giving his biceps a squeeze.
Harry fully connected his lips with Teagan's this time as he continued to push himself inside, her walls fluttering around his length. Teagan's lips parted as heavy breaths escaped her, but she knew once he was fully inside that she would be in utter bliss.
Just a few seconds later, Harry sank himself completely into her and he groaned, dropping his face into her neck.
"Teagan," he moaned, and she moved one of her hands from his bicep to run through the back of his curls - now she was soothing him. "You're so...you're so fucking tight."
Teagan hummed, and they both laid there for a minute or two, content with the feeling of being so close and connected with each other.
Harry found it in himself to run both of his hands to rest underneath Teagan's shoulder blades, lifting her just a bit off the bed. "I'm going to start moving, okay?"
"Yes, please. You're being so sweet to me, Harry."
Little did they know that while one heart was fluttering, so was the other, and Teagan raised her legs just a bit higher against Harry's sides.
"I really like you," he confessed, eyes dancing over the stunning face below him. "I want to take my time with you, and make sure you're okay. Remember when you asked how I see you?"
Teagan was in no position to find the words to respond to Harry after what he just said to her, so she nodded, hoping that was sufficient enough.
"Let me show you how I see you. I want you to feel it."
The breath was completely stolen from Teagan's lungs as Harry pulled out about halfway, rocking back and forth just a little, before sinking inside once again.
"O-oh," Teagan moaned, throwing her head back, her neck becoming completely exposed.
"Such a pretty face on a pretty neck," Harry thought as he connected his lips to the hinge of her jaw.
They knew they had the cabin to themselves tonight for the time being, the other girls having left to sit around a bonfire with some of Harry's frat brothers, so they weren't worried about how loud they could be.
"You feel amazing, T," Harry breathed, starting up a slow and even rhythm with his hips.
Teagan whined, both of her hands now coming out to cup Harry's cheeks, moving his face up so she could see him. "You too. Oh my god."
This was probably the most vanilla sex Harry had been involved in since losing his virginity, but he wouldn't have it any other way with her. It felt incredible, for both of them, and Teagan realized that even though she had experience with sex before, nothing had ever felt like this.
Teagan had never felt someone so deep, but the fact that it was Harry, made everything feel more heightened.
Their soft moans, and the sound of them merging together filled the room, but it didn't feel awkward. If anything, it spurred the two of them on even more.
"H-Harry," Teagan whimpered, holding his eyes. "I'm so happy right now. I haven't felt this happy in years."
Harry's heart clenched at her words, and he pressed his hands against her back where he had his hold to push her chest fully against his. Her nipples rubbed against his chest as he thrusted into her.
"I feel incredible with you right now," Harry said, making sure that he was still angled to where he could see every expression covering her face. "This feels really different."
"G-good different?" Teagan asked, her voice full of worry.
"It's fucking wonderful. Never felt this way before."
Another loud moan erupted from Teagan's throat as her forehead rested against Harry's jaw as he continued to pump in and out of her weeping cunt. This was the wettest she had ever been in her life, and she wasn't sure if that turned guys on or turned them off.
"S-sorry," Teagan croaked, hips clashing against Harry's.
"Baby, what for?"
"I-I'm...I'm making a mess," Teagan said sheepishly, feeling so dumb at a time like this.
Harry stilled his movements, causing her to huff out.
"You don't even understand how hot your body reacting to me is, do you?" Harry asked, shaking his head. "I can feel you wetting my thighs, love, and it's so sexy."
Pulling out almost completely, Harry rammed his hips back up into hers and Teagan cried out in pleasure, grasping to Harry's muscular frame.
Teagan knew she was close to her orgasm. With Harry's size, and the angle he had her hips angled at, she was ascending into absolute bliss. She felt like she would never come down from the high she was riding, and she hadn't even came yet.
"Harry, I'm about to come," Teagan strangled out, lulling her hand down against his shoulder. She had found the confidence in herself to express what she was feeling, considering she couldn't form the words yesterday.
"Me too, me too."
Their lips connected in a sloppy kiss as Teagan clenched down completely around him, and she moaned loudly as she orgasmed around him, coating his cock completely. Harry pulled Teagan flush against him again as he felt himself releasing in the condom, heavy breaths leaving him with each uncoordinated thrust.
Still inside her, Harry rolled onto his side, pulling Teagan with him, and they laid in the bed. They caressed each other, sharing small kisses here and there as they both came down from their highs.
"Teagan," Harry whispered, and she hummed in response, curled into his chest. "Will you go on a date with me this week, once we get home?"
They were leaving tomorrow, and even though they didn't know, each of them had doubts about the other wanting to still see them.
Teagan lifted her head to look into Harry's eyes, raising a hand to brush his curls off his forehead. "Harry," she spoke, a giddiness in her tone. "I would love to go on a date with you."
Harry felt over the moon at her answer, wrapping his arms tighter around Teagan to keep her close.
This connection was the last thing either of them had expected on this trip, but little did they know it would lead to them being in each other's lives forever.

Note
I think all harry eras feel so different because each one has a more distinct trait. like harry has all of these characteristics and each era highlights one specific trait. for example current harry is confidence and insightful, lhh is more stern/stoic, dunkirk harry is most outgoing/playful, fbh is laidback/easygoing, phh is warm and sensitive, and fetus is just a precious baby. idk if it makes sense but yeah?
YESSSSSS SO TRUEEEE
