FEH OCs part 4 out of ???

Disclaimer: I am going off of memory here, so I'll probably get several things wrong and miss a few things. Also, Book 4 is my favorite for the aesthetic. (Dreams, flowers, questioning reality, butterflies, and the dread of nightmares are all up my alley.)

Peony: I don't like her outfit or her hair. Other than that, she's alright. I found the "she could be the real Sharena" thing cool, but it didn't matter in the end. Was down with dying to make sure we got out and I guess we got to relearn(?) each after we woke up from our dream.

Mirabilis: Where were you during the first half of the book? Other than that, I really like that dress and feel like Peony should've had something similar.

Freyr: One of many FEH OCs that hasn't gotten their base form summonable yet. (Also, I'm sad that he is our only male wearing clothing from Ljosalfheimer or Dokkalfheimer.) His eyes are always closed cause he's dreaming, but his sister seems to be awake.

Triandra: 8-year commits murder against abusive father. She's probably not appreciated since her job is giving people nightmares. Also, what are her outfits...? She's wearing a leotard(?) in her base, but what is her spring alt? Why would you wear a bikini during spring, a season associated with rain...

Plumeria: I feel bad for this girl. Become an alfar for her mother's love, only to... "spread love to others." I have several questions for Freyja... Also, her outfit is the most appropriate considering her job, not sure if the dreams she gives are bad. Wonder what she's up to considering she and Triandra are teaming up with Lif and Thrasir.

Freyja: In actual Norse mythology, Freyja rules over the realm of Folkvanger (Sounds like a name for a cool sword), where half of the warriors who die in battle go. In FEH she rules over the realm of nightmares, and I'm a little disappointed... She could've had us fight Hel, Sutr, Gustav, Fallen Edelgards, or any assortment of nightmarish foes. It's also funny that she's a light hero...

Following the tradition of older books getting new content during tempest trial events along with new characters and ascended forms, I wonder what they'll do for this book.

Tempest Trials Update:

So, Freyja is back (RIP Freyr, at least he's summonable now). Apparently, Plumeria and Triandra made a deal with a higher power to get her back (Thorr, Loki, or the "All Father" are my guesses), but Freyja's like "No, no, these two are mine."

We get two new characters from the tempest...

Eitr - Sharena's introduction mentions that the flowers she's holding are from Vanaheimer, which makes sense considering who she actually is. I was disappointed that I couldn't the mole on her face, but her hair is probably just covering it. (Also, can everyone from Vanaheimer turn into a goat?)

Ginnungagap - Weird design but fitting, I was expecting something more human like the other gods we've seen. I wanna learn more about her, assuming there's anything to learn. Also, she's cavalry?!?

For context: Seidr mentions that Freyr and Freyja are her "kins" all the way back in Chapter 5, Part 1, and we've been breaking our heads trying to figure out how are they a family, just to learn later that in the OG Japanese script, she only mentions their titles.

Now Sharena just confirms in the Meet some of the Heroes that they're in fact, not related 😅

It's like.

Sharena is Alfonse and Lif's sister (complicated on Lif's end but roll w me here) but neither Alfonse/Lif would consider each other brothers because they're one and the same. I think something similar happened with Peony and Sharena, where they started out as two people but became so intertwined and entangled that they became each other. Alfonse is Sharena's brother, unshakable, by choice now. Nothing will change the fact that, at one point, Sharena stopped swapping with Peony. Nothing changes the fact that at one point, that's the Sharena he grew up with, that he knows as his sister now. And even before then, "What's mine is yours". Alfonse was Peony's brother, so Alfonse is Sharena's brother. Unbeknownst to him, he had two sisters. Up until A Point.

So, in a similar way that Sharena is a sister to both Alfonse and Lif but Alfonse and Lif aren't brothers, Peony is Alfonse's sister but not Sharena's sister. Fused (Sharena and Peony) or Died (Alfonse and Lif). What does this make Triandra to Sharena? Another estranged sibling essentially, just like Peony and Alfonse, especially by "What's mine is yours" rules. Triandra was Sharena's sister. So Triandra is Peony's sister. What does this make Alfonse and Triandra? Technically unrelated. If the divorce game is insane you can have Sibling A be halfsies with Sibling B (eg: shared dad different moms) and Sibling B can have a Sibling C (same mom different dads) and Siblings A and C are literally unrelated (no shared parents between them). To me I like to think of Alfonse and Triandra as distant cousins. That is not how that works in this example but this is my belief based on vibes alone.

And man don't even get me started on how Triandra and Peony feel like half-siblings despite being (presumably) full siblings but Freyja fucking took her sister in the divorce (sibling. Divorce. Well. At least they're not together.)

i hope one day there will be a a day in the life comic where the villains who have threatened kiran before attempt to mess with her in seemingly small ways that will undoubtedly affect her mental state but will not let breidablik's "do not hurt the summoner" clause kick in, because they've seen it work before

like maybe she has a big day soon so they try to sabotage. maybe she's holding a birthday party for someone. maybe she's campaigning for cyl. maybe she's just tired and wants to relax

but when they check on their trap, it turns out someone already sabotaged THEM ahead of time, with a calling card that's basically a colorful, orange and purple butterfly trapped in briar.

and then it cuts to a dimly lit room, with freyja laughing haughtily, revealing herself to be the one who sent the dokkalfar to sabotage them.

(freyr is there also, sighing, because he heard about the calling card and basically concluded that his sister is what those strange performers from tokyo call a tsundere)

(her fairies are also there, but sweatdropping)

why? you may ask.

yes, she may like to murder her some days. yes, she's definitely attempted to murder her before. and yes, that sort of behavior the villains were exhibiting is definitely something she'd do as well.

but that is freyja's human that they are messing with. and that is a no-no.

sure, they told her she could join, but the truth of the world is that only SHE can mess with the summoner like that.

(cut to alfonse asking if it's really okay for kiran to be so chill about the carnage that freyja caused, looking concerned because she's humming.

"why not? those punks should keep her busy long enough that she won't realize what i'm about to do to her freyr plushies."

and that's the point where he realizes his wife is absolutely nuts.)
