There was this fan comic about a Danny Phantom AU where when he goes ghost he drops his dead body to the floor; a la ichigo from bleach then Sam/Tucker had to hide his body. That AU but crossed over with DC and Bruce/other heroes trying to adopt him.  Danny: “You can’t adopt me if I’m dead!” 

Hero: “Wait kid, don’t-” 

*body drops to the floor dead while phantom’s invisible.* Hero: *horrified silence.* Danny: *has to wait until his body is alone before he can get it back.* ‘Worth it.’

Balance

Danny didn't hate the Justice League for never showing up to deal with the world ending things he dealt with. He's not been upset with them over this since he learned about overshadowing being a thing.

That is, he wasn't upset with them. Until he met Dan. Dan who had killed the Justice League. Dan who had destroyed the world. Dan who had told him about Justice League Dark. The secret magic division of the Justice League that apparently could have dealt with the bs Amity Park has been through since the portal opened.

They had the resources to avoid being overshadowed and they were, even just one of them, powerful enough to have taken down Fright Knight or Vlad or Pariah Dark. Instead they'd marked Amity a "no fly zone" and promptly ignored the town. Their reason? Danny was already taking care of it.

So years later, he's King of the Infinite Realms and being summoned by the Justice League. (in all his kingly regalia of course) He's being rather belligerent whenever one of the magic members start talking, but is rather friendly towards the others. When asked why he mentions Amity Park.

The JLD's reply? The Embodiment lord of Balance is taking care of that place.

Here's some dnd character Ideas in case you need them:

1, Grung Oath of Vengeance Paladin, born in the lower caste you were able to escape, but now adventure to one day become strong enough to free your friends.

2, A genderfluid Warlock (the subclass and race of which doesn't matter) who uses the Mask of Many Faces Eldritch Invocation so their body always matches their gender.

3, An Echo Knight Fighter (the race of which doesn't matter) who was never able to make friends, so they simply learned to manifest an Echo to be their friend. (also works with Shepard Druid)

4, A Dwarf (the class does not matter) who grew up in a massive underground city, but one day got lost and arrived on the surface, and now searches for how to get back home.

5, A Chronurgy Wizard (race doesn't matter) who saw something beyond what they should know, so wiped their mind, and all they have now to go on is a half completed note.

6, An Oath of Devotion Paladin who really really loves his wife, and tries to contact her whenever he can, he should be human so his lifespan is shorter, and thus has less time to spend with his wife in the long run. Name him Anthony cuz that's a neat name

Danny Phantom sits at a desk, papers stacked high, rubbing his face as an intense headache. There has been an alarming increase of jungle ghosts popping into the Zone and filing complaints.

"This is the last thing I need; people are coming back from the dead, rewriting the timeline, some shmuck is selling his soul like it's a pack of gum and now some human company is decimating the Amazon Rainforest to near extinction."

Stella, a fresh ghost with a space themed business suit who was his newest assistant floats into the room with more paperwork. "Here you go sir. More Amazon complaints, the ones who can recall their deaths report the gunmen had Lexcorp insignias."

"For Ancient's sake..."

"Sorry, sir."

"This is ridiculous, put a hold on any more complaints and let them know I'm stepping in now. I'm grabbing a couple of The Green ghosts and some of the Liminal in the living world. It's time to put this to an end." Phantom raises his hand, the Ring of Rage glows as a portal opens and he steps through into The Green's portion of the Zone.

An annoying short fight and Phantom has Undergrowth down, his blue aura flaring threateningly. Undergrowth concedes defeat from his King, "If you are here to End me, then do so. My children are screaming, uprooted and yet here I stay from your decree, my king. Unable to nurture and restore them."

"About that, you kind of jumped me before I could say anything," Phantom lowers his hand, energy dissipating into wisps, "I haven't been fair to you these last few months. I understand your purpose now and I'm here for your help."

"My help? The great King Phantom wants help from me?" Undergrowth's voice cannot hide the mirth on his face.

"I'm being swarmed by new ghost complaints about the Amazon Rainforest. I'm willing to let you out into the Living World with some other ghosts to fulfill your obsessions if you help me restore what was lost and keep the balance."

"I am... how the flesh bags say; intrigued."

"My only stipulation is that you do not kill the human locals or workers."

"...I suppose I can make do with that arrangement. Will my daughter be accompanying me?"

"Sam? I can ask but I do not believe she wants to be your daughter," Danny says as he lets Undergrowth float to his full height. "I'm also going to pick up some of the Liminal of Earth that can influence plants. I will say, the increase the undying happening should make this incredibly easy to persuade them. Gather a number of ghosts who can follow directions and meet back at the Keep."

"As you wish, my King," for once Undergrowth seemed happy to actual call him as such before bowing and flying off to gather the troops. Once more Phantom opened a portal, its swirling green and black causing shadows of the nearby trees to flicker before stepping trough onto a dirty and gloomy rooftop, rain steadily coming down across a city covered in vines and flowers with the sounds of fighting below.

Milk Blood

Does anyone remember that writing prompt about humans being born with milk white blood and it getting darker every time you commit a crime? Yes? No? Who cares. Imma use that prompt for this au.

Danny's going into, like, a meeting or something with some other heroes as human Danny. He's not bled in front of anyone in human form outside of team phantom, and it's been a few years since he got hurt in human form. So naturally he gets a paper cut. His blood is black. Que panic from everyone assuming the worst.

Of course, Danny, being Danny, also panics over how dark his blood is and calls Sam and Tucker. Of course Jazz is also there for ReasonsTM. He's babbling about how he's clearly done something horrible, when the three start laughing.

so i've been tossing around a g/t character idea in my head for a while after spending an entire day a while back listening to Battle Against a True Hero from undertale

literally just a tiny who is obsessed with the idea of being this brave heroic hero with the power of god and anime on their side, acting like they're in an ultimate fight for the fate of the universe (Maybe they're a borrower in the house of an anime fan)

who tries to pick a fight with a human who is indifferent at worst, and at best amused at the tiny's antics.

... basically a tiny who thinks they are a Deku or an Undyne the Undying but they're actually Don Quixote

The un-Krypton?

The following is a synopsis (ish) of a conversation with a coworker about ElonGated MuskRat and impostor syndrome which turned into a weird plot idea.

Rich tech bro is, in fact, an alien! He and his family think they fled a dying planet, "the last of our kind"

In actual fact, they were kicked out.

Take your pick whether the "flee, it's the end of days!" was a hoax because everyone hated this one family so much, or if that's just what Baby Bro was told to cover up the fact that they were, in fact, hated and kicked out.

First half of the story is all about this Bro being like "Ah yes, I have superior intellect and ideas because I am an alien" and basically trying to do the White Savior Trope.

But then!! More folks from the original plant show up.

"OMG, We are so sorry, we sent them to/gave them coordinates for an uninhabited planet* but someone transposed a number and they ended up here! We'll take them back now, again, SO SORRY!"

*Maybe the planet was, like Jupiter?

Bonus: as an apology the good aliens share their highest valued resources with Earth.

Double bonus: these resources are not weapons, or warp tech. It's music and visual arts. Maybe a new kind of loom.
