Given the influx of new followers over the past few days, for which I'm very happy and grateful, I'd like to post a simple reminder:

My tumblr blog is for people aged 18 and older.

My writing is for adults and so are a lot of the things I post due to sexual content.

My blog is a space made by an adult and intended for adults, not for teenagers and/or children.

I respectfully ask that, if you happen to be a minor and are following me, please unfollow me and do not like, share or comment on my writing.

I am not comfortable with minors on here given that there are regulations that could get me in severe trouble if people under the age of 18 are interacting with my adult content.

Please respect this boundary that I have set very clearly. My description says it, my masterlist says it and my fanfic posts say it as well.

LAITO APPRECIATION WEEK 2021

Heeeellooooo my fellow Diahell residents! I know originally, this was a month (back in 2017? 2018?) but I’ve decided to bring it back! 

If you don’t know me, hi! I’m Corn (not my real name kdasj)! I’m mainly known for my analyses about Laito on this blog. But that’s not the point! I recently hit 500 followers and it’s going to be the first year anniversary of when I started posting, so what better way to celebrate than to just share the appreciation and love we have for Laito? 

Better yet, I’m co-hosting this with two of my lovely friends, who happen to also be absolutely amazing writers (and Laito simps), @jardinsdeminuit and @hotline-to-hell If you haven’t checked them out, pleaaaase do, they’re absolutely amazing

ANYWAYS! Laito Appreciation Week will start on Sunday, May 16th, and will end on May 22nd. Please feel free to reblog and spread the message! I bet this will be lots of fun :)

Camp Digimonth Rules

Event Date:  January 1-31, 2022

How it Works:  The purpose of Camp Digimonth is to establish creative habits for a new year by making Digimon content together!  Each participant is asked to set their own goals for the month to suit their creative needs.  All kinds of content creators are welcome (writers, artists, gif makers, cosplayers, whatever your heart desires!).  Participants do not need to stick to one medium; you can write and draw!  And remember that planning and refining are vital parts of creation.  If you want to spend the month outlining new projects or editing old ones, that's great, too!  Content from all Digimon series/games/movies/drama CDs/novelizations/etc is welcome!

There are no prompts in this event.  Participants are encouraged to work on existing projects or projects on their to-do list.

Sample Goals:  

-Time based: Create for x unit of time per day.  This type of goal is especially helpful for folks wanting to establish a daily creative habit and for people who work in multiple mediums.  It can also avoid the pressure of having to generate specific units of finished products.

-Number based:  Draw y images per day/month, write z words per day/month, etc.  This goal is similar to Nanowrimo's goal of writing 50,000 words per month/1,667 words per day, except that you can set your own goal.  Maybe 10,000 words total or 5 finished drawings sounds fun to you!  

-Project based:  Finish a oneshot or short story from your to-do list, knock out that series of drawings you've wanted to make, create that epic gifset, etc!

How to Participate:  You can be as involved or independent as you'd like!  Use the hashtag #campdigimonth2022 to mark any post you want reblogged on this Tumblr blog.  EDIT:  The Tumblr tagging system is borked, please include @campdigimonth in your posts so I will receive a notification.  Otherwise, I could easily miss your lovely content.

-Declaring goals:  I will start checking the #campdigimonth2022 tag in  early January 2022 for your Goal Announcements!  Once you have landed on a goal for yourself, you can share it with everyone following the Camp Digimonth blog :D  Share what you will make with everyone, so we can get hype for your upcoming content!  

-Share your content:  Use the same #campdigimonth2022 tag to mark any content you would like shared on this blog from January-March 2022 (the later months are intended for more coverage for multi-chapter fics and comics, or any works too complex to complete in January).

-Join the Discord:  I will make a Discord for us closer to the event starting point.  Feel free to chat with fellow participants, join our virtual create-ins, or ignore this feature entirely!  All Discord interactions must abide by the community rules (TBA with the Discord creation, but the content rules below will provide a general idea for now).

Content Rules:  

1.)  All content must be original (no reposting/content theft) and created during January 2022

❅A Love Letter I Have to My Lovely and Beloved Friends❅

(I just know that 30 july was a national friendship day and today is like 31 july already at where I am but,,, just pretend that this is also for National Friendship Day 🤡🔫)

As you all know, it's been confirmed that I'll be going on a hiatus two days from now that I really don't know how long it will go on. So, with that in mind, I wished to leave this message to all the wonderful friends I've made while I was active here on Tumblr during quarantine.

I've started this writing blog a few months ago, to be precise, on May where life in quarantine was starting to become a norm. In the few months until now, I did my best to start writing and drawing more using all the free times that I have.

I wouldn't have expected this blog to grow so much in such a short time. To me, it was really mind blowing, seeing that there's a lot of other great content creators here on Tumblr. Yet, the 300+ people who stumbled upon my blog still decided to follow me.

I was really happy to have made many contents that I'm actually proud of posting. And I still can't believe there are people out there who love them. Seeing every one of your comments and reblogs and likes really, really, squeezed my heart and I couldn't be more thankful for your support.

And during these fun times, I was able to make friends with many amazing, talented, fantastic and all the good words I could find in the dictionary people on here. You all are a real gift to me and I hold you guys close to my heart.

I still can't believe I was able to befriend you guys though, like, y'all are so amazing and I was just here like squeaking my name to you like a shy mice lmao. =///= Anyways, thank you for all the good and fun times. Thank you for being with me and helping me with lots of things. Just, thank you for everything. (I'm writing this at 1am like it's sad hours yall I'm crying :')))

If you are ever feeling down, do not ever forget that, even if it's only me, I'll support you to the end of the world because you're just so amazing and fantastic. I love you and never let any hate that's thrown at you let you down because they aren't worth your time.

The people I'll be mentioning below are my dear friends or just people that I have been interacting with during the times I was online, little or not, I still consider you guys to be my friends (very self-proclaimed here sorry)and I'm still honoured by that fact.

Quarantine time has been stressful for a lot of people, and Tumblr can sometimes (a lot of times) be kinda whack but I was really happy to met you guys during my time here. Person A falls into a magical spring that makes them shift between genders. Person B falls in as well, but they shift into a giant panda or animal of writer's choice.

Person A and Person B are regulars on the school’s sports team who are fighting for their manager’s attention, Person C.

Person A has an important sporting game of writer's choice coming up and has been overworking themselves in preparation. Person B reminds them to slow down and take care of themselves.

Persona A lives in a world where superpowers flourish and superheroes run the world. The only problem is Person A was born without powers. Persona B decides to give their powers to Persona A for the reason of the writer's choice.

Person A recently adopted a new cat that seemed very friendly at the store. As time goes on, Person A notices their cat disappears for days at a time, and each time it returns home brings with it a strange magical item.

Persona A is out walking one night and suddenly hears someone say hey. When they turn around to look, they see a group of seven strange cats standing under a street lamp.

Person A is fed up with dating, so they decide to order a custom made robot boyfriend off the website "Absolute Boyfriend."

Person A moves to a new town/school and is the only one that notices that one (or seven) of their classmates are OBVIOUSLY not human but no one else notices and think they're weird when they bring it up

Person A joins an elite culinary school only to find that Person B (their rival) has joined.

Person A has dreamed of becoming a Pokémon trainer their entire life and traveling the world solo. However, Person B, their rival suddenly challenges them to a battle, with the condition that if they win, Person A must never let their side.

Person A is a college student in a normal world when suddenly they get a knock on the door and it turns out to be their favorite anime asking for help.

Person A can see spirits. Being around one of the seven men, makes the spirits disappear. One takes notice to Person A only to find out they are promised to them.

A/N: I'm so sorry for the delay, guy, life has been busy. School has started back up so between work, my grandfather's death on October 1st, and just writer's block in general, I haven't been myself. Due to this absence, I'm not sure if things have been forgotten so a quick recap if you will:

Dracula finds a gravely sick Agatha, kidnaps her and takes her to his castle, he cares for her but there is a lot of fighting, eventually sex ensues and with that comes feelings. Eventually, Agatha admits her feelings to the Count but when he doesn't immediately reciprocate, she decides to kill him. Things don't go as planned and Agatha makes the "wise" decision to leave the castle. This decision causes her to become mortally wounded in an accident. Dracula realizes the error in his ways and goes out searching and finds her near death. Admits his love for her and she, now satisfied, gives him permission to turn her. That's where we left off!                                              Chapter Eleven

The dead don't dream. At least, that was what she decided to call this current state she was in. A dream. An unconscious state of sorts where reality was all but a hallucination. Agatha found herself standing, not even remembering getting up from where she lay dying on the rocks below. She might as well have materialized into that position. Gone was her blood and with it the snow and ice. All that remained was a foggy wall that surrounded her. Seemed to hold her caged as she tried to find her bearings.

For the briefest of moments, the former nun thought she was alone. Left only to her thoughts and silence. Her mouth opened to call out to someone, anyone, but not a word escaped. Instead, something began to form in her peripheral vision. Dark masses growing into familiar silhouettes. And soon Agatha found herself staring back at the literal ghosts of her past.

Mother Superior and her fellow sisters faced her from afar, their looks still and unreadable. Like her, no longer did they represent their final moments. The signs of their massacre gone. They merely stared, habits dancing by an unseen wind. Though it was not vocalized, she knew their judgement. What they surely thought of her. But as Agatha attempted to address them, the women faded away and a new form began.

He stood there a few meters away from her in the cover of the mist. His ancient face twisted into a look of pure hatred. Disgust. A knowing expression of disappointment that held the very meaning of the betrayal. This phantom image of Abraham her mind had created. A final vision as she cut the ties to her Van Helsing name. To mortality. As the apparition of her late grandfather began to disappear, so too the last thrums of her beating heart.

Agatha remained there in the darkness, in the threat of the void that seemed to want to swallow her whole. But just as the shadows reached out towards her, readying to drag her down, a familiar figure appeared. Their eyes met and shared a knowing glance. No longer was there distrust or ill-intent. No. There was kindness. Tenderness. And as Dracula moved closer, the blackness seemed to fade.

Agatha.

It was his voice calling to her, but his lips weren't moving. Agatha watched him perplexed, almost amused. The words echoed around her as if they were in a cave. She couldn't quite explain it, but it was him. Not some mere trick of her imagination.

Agatha. Wake up.

He was so close now. So close that if he wanted to, he could touch her. But the noise was growing louder and the former nun felt oddly light. When she tried to open her mouth to reply, no words escaped. The vampire smiled as the world around them began to slowly crumble away, disintegrating the plane between life and death.

Agatha, it's time to wake up.

Earth. Some sort of wood, perhaps cherry or magnolia. The more exclusive of materials. It was odd how she could identify that. It was certainly not pine. Her eyes flickered open and though it was dark, she could still clearly see the figure looming over her. The distinct features of his face. He was smiling down at her, but it was far from malicious. Warm, Relief. And she found herself returning the expression, feeling as if she had just woken up from a really long nap.

"Welcome back, Agatha Van Helsing." Dracula greeted, a hand reaching down to touch one of hers. "To the world of the undead."

"So it worked then?" His lover replied. "I'm not dead?"

"The formalities of what one would consider as deceased are rather...skewed, but yes, you are as much as a vampire as I am." The former nun's eyes narrowed, but the somewhat tired smile still etched itself across her pale features. "What?"

"I'm in a coffin aren't I?" She stated, turning her head to either side to inspect her surroundings. "Yours, if I'm not mistaken."

"Ours," he corrected. "With a few modifications, it will suit us better that way."

"I think I prefer my bed upstairs." The former nun smirked as she slowly sat up, gripping onto the Count's hands as she did. Dirty fell from the locks of her hair, and the few clumps of something that clung still she assumed were due to dried blood. But no longer was she in any sort of pain. "I'm rather dirty."

"Physically or mentally?" His joke got him a disapproving look. "Yes, I realize you didn't exactly wake up to being perfectly clean. After we were out there and I...well, you needed your rest. And I didn't want to risk altering things by dolling you up during the transformation."

She nodded as she gave herself a look over. Tattered clothes from torn branches. Though, all of her wounds had healed. Just the mess of old blood and dirt remained, a reminder of sorts of what occurred. Slowly, she brought her fingers to her neck and touched the telling indents. Dracula's eyes followed her as Agatha gently massaged the spot.

"Does it bother you?" There was genuine concern in his tone. "

"No." She shook her head. "It's just...funny."

He cocked a brow in confusion. "Funny? How so?"

Agatha thought for a moment, a thoughtful smile still playing on her face. "Never mind." She assured him. "If you don't mind, I'd rather like to clean up now." The woman paused, seeming to consider her next words carefully. "You are welcome to join me. I might require some assistance."

The concern left the vampire's face as his clawed fingers interlocked with her own. "It would be a pleasure." He assured her. "Shall we?"

The cool water ran a rusty brown as it trailed down her bare skin in rivulets. Despite the barely tepid temperature, she was not bothered by it. A perk of being a vampire she supposed. Though she had no need to, she still closed her eyes and inhaled as Dracula fingers ran through her hair, unknotting her messy locks until they were free once more. She smelled something sweet. Floral. Lavender perhaps? He must've infused the water with something-a gesture she did appreciate.

"You're quiet." She commented as his hands traveled to the small of her back. "That's rather unusual for you."

"It's been a rather unusual day." He replied, working the cloth against her skin. "You almost died. Permanently."

"And you said you loved me." The former nun countered. "Just as permanently, I hope."

His strong arms wrapped around her waist and Agatha's unneeded breath hitched in her throat. "Forgive me." The vampire murmured, words tickling her ear. "I suppose I wasn't as blunt in the beginning as I should've been."

"...I suppose I too should somewhat be apologetic." She smiled softly, turning so that they were face to face. "Maybe my actions were a bit...overdramatic." Agatha's fingers traced against his chest. "No matter. We have all the time in the world to figure things out, don't we?"

"Yes." Her lover agreed. "That we very much do." Reaching over, the vampire retrieved a clean towel from a bronze hook. "Come, let's get you dressed. As much as I love you like this, there is much to discuss." Dracula pressed a kiss to the corner of her mouth. "We'll return to this later."

Her tongue ran against the bottom of her teeth, feeling the smooth, porcelain enamel that had yet to present itself as fangs. Even though she was a newborn, Agatha hadn't felt that overpowering urge to feed. She couldn't help but wonder if that was normal. This delay in blood thirst. And to think she had so many questions about vampiric nature while was still human. It was almost laughable.

"You look positively radiant by the fire light."

Dracula eyed her from the entrance way, a small plastered across his face. In just a few strides, the man stood before her. Tenderly, he tilted her chin up as if to study her features like a jeweler examining a rare gem.

"Seeing as my heart is no longer pumping blood and causing natural circulation, I suppose I need some source to brighten my features." The former nun smirked, eyes locking on his. "Thank you for the compliment."

"I have far, far more where that came from..." Her mate promised, touching his forehead to hers. "How are you feeling?" The warmth in his expression seemed to change to one of concern as he spoke. "Are you...adjusting fine?"

"I suppose as much as one can." She replied with a small smile. "Though, I really don't have much to go on seeing as I've never experienced a transformation first hand myself…Rather, being the one who is changed." Agatha clarified quickly.

"You'll need to eat soon." Dracula commented, gazing into the fire's light. "First hunt's the most important."

"I do not plan to kill the innocent." Her words caused the other vampire to turn and face her. "There must be other ways to exist or extract blood without harming the lives of humans."

"It doesn't work like that, Agatha." Her lover replied with a small frown. "Our species is different. We don't have the choice of eating just meat or vegetables or substitutions of any sort. We require blood. Human blood at that. And as distasteful as it may sound to you now, you haven't really the choice."

"There is always a choice." The woman countered, arms folded across her chest. "And if I must muster up the will-power and strength to find it, I shall. But I simply won't conform to your standards and murder because I need to. A cow is different from a human. They aren't as complex. They don't think. Don't have complicated lives, loved ones like people do."

"I almost lost you, must we seriously get into a disagreement now?" The vampire sighed, massaging his temples. "Blood is lives, Agatha. And now, it will become your life just as much as it has become part of mine." He went to rest his hands on her shoulders, but she stepped back. "Give it a chance, Agatha. I promise, you'll adjust far easier than you think."

"If you truly love me, you'll help me come up with a better solution." Agatha replied firmly, still hellbent on her good ways. "There must be another way." She ignored the expression of irritation that sat fixed across his features. "You've proven yourself to me before, Count Dracula. I have faith, though it may be perhaps little now, you can do so again."

"Your stubbornness has followed you into this new life, I see." Dracula grumbled, clearly perturbed that the former nun was still set on her ways. After everything they'd gone through together. "Why must you make things so difficult?"

"There will be no killing on my end." Agatha repeated, standing her ground. Once more she ran her tongue across her smooth teeth, her fangs yet to show despite the small growl that emanated from the pit of her stomach. "Those are my terms."

Dracula was silent for a moment. "You are making things quite difficult. None of my brides were ever this...picky…"

"Do you consider me to be one of your brides then?" Agatha inquired with a cocked brow.

"...No." Came his response after a long pause. "...I consider you to be quite, quite more."

Neither spoke after he uttered those words, a pregnant pause left between them. Then Agatha stepped forward and touched his cool cheek with her equally cool hand. His gazed back into the blues of her eyes with his dark ones. Love was merely a construct, he had convinced himself long ago. And yet, now where he stood, it seemed quite the opposite.

"I can make no promises nor can I say I can do much more than try." He replied quietly. "But for you, I will look into more humane ways. But if I cannot find such things, you must swear to me that you will feed from whomever no matter the costs."

Agatha pursed her lips but said nothing. Dracula nodded his head knowing full well this was going to be a mere impossible task. After centuries of feeding on only humans, how was he to know of any sort of substitutes? But he just got Agatha back. Just confessed his feelings. And for her, if he could, he'd offer her the world and whatever with it.

"I believe in you." Agatha stated, pulling the man from his thoughts. "Find it in yourself to do the same."

A statement, he would not admit allowed, that was easier said than done.

2020

what was the most challenging part of writing this year?

I guess the most challenging part of writing this year was tuning out the real world. I’ve always used reading and writing as a form of coping and escapism from all the things that were troubling me. Unfortunately there were times when simply reading and writing weren’t helping me and I took so many breaks, postponed so many WIPs I was excited about... I ended up beating myself down for not being able to keep up with an expectation I had for myself and my writing. Considering 2020 was hell for everyone, I came to terms with myself that it cannot be always my fault, I can’t blame myself for not being able to do things I set my mind to do, sometimes there are obstacles that take time for you to cross.

I’m just going to quickly mention stressful anons and hopefully get a point across for all fan fictions writers. WE ARE NOT ROBOTS. WE ARE HUMAN. All of us write for many personal reasons, mine are that I just love writing things which I wish to read! Simple as that. What I wish for some rude people to understand is that the least you could do for us creators is be thankful and be kind to us, give feedback and constructive criticism, share our work. I don’t understand why you are scared of the reblog button. When I go through my notes and take a look at some blogs, they are empty. No one is paying us to contribute creatively to the fandom, you are enjoying our content for free while we put hard work and our free time into it, so why should we “hurry up”, “update faster” and “write more/this/that”? Please, remember that we are people too, and the toxicity some people spread on anonymous asks is just incredibly baffling and hurtful to me. If you, as a reader, believe that my request is nonsense and my words are too harsh, then perhaps you should reconsider how you’re viewing content creators before disagreeing without a valid reason.

what was the most enjoyable/rewarding part of writing this year?

The happiness that came from writing something which I enjoyed reading as well! I have been a writer for years on another platform until I had to take a long hiatus because of writer’s block and depression. For how cheesy this may sound, the most enjoyable and rewarding part of writing is in fact writing something that makes me happy even if I’m torturing my characters and traumatizing them. There is truly no point for me to write things that I don’t feel I am enjoying. As I have said other times before on the blog, I would much rather post something that makes me happy, than post something just to get notes from silent readers.

what piece has left the most impact on you and why?

Given the fact that I have not written a lot because of my constant mental health breaks (yes 2020 had me on rollercoaster mental breakdowns more often than usual), I have to say that Damaged is what really kept me entertained with myself and perhaps sane. It has been way too long since I’ve taken on something so creative as building an entire universe from just a dream, but it’s what reminded me why I love writing so much, it reignited my passion. With this story I really wanted to challenge myself to write something unique, something I’ve never done before with any other work... And I admit it’s quite difficult; the easiest part was taking inspiration from EXO’s lore, but the hardest was incorporating it in a universe and storyline completely different to the original concept. It’s something I’m set on finishing as a complete multi-chapter story no matter how long it takes.

what have you learned about yourself through the process of writing in the past year?

To be completely honest, I learned that I can push myself out of my comfort zone when writing, because every piece is a fictional world of its own, every character can be more than a copy and paste personality. What do I truly learn about myself if I don’t explore things I have not thought about before? I learned that I should not be afraid to write of things that I don’t know or fully understand, specifically about things that I didn’t post but tried for just for fun. It is a good way of finding out whether a certain subjects interests me or doesn’t. I love doing lots of research and gather information for the stories I’m writing, you get to learn about stuff you usually would never think about.

how has your writing changed in the past year? how have you grown?

Well, I don’t really have anything to compare my writing to except my older fan fictions for movies and tv shows. I guess I have changed quite a lot since 2018; my writing style has become more fluid, at least I think it has. I’m also able to write longer chapters without feeling as if I am dragging it out for the sake of the word count, yet now I have to literally stop myself from just writing too much! It pleases me, to be honest. I remember struggling to sometimes put ideas into words and balance narrative, dialogue and descriptions.

2021

ignoring your wips for a second, if you had all the time and energy in the world to write your magnum opus piece, what would it be about? why is that the dream story you’d write, all other things controlled for?

This can go back to Damaged, honestly! It’s something that I haven’t finished writing and it will be a long story. It’s the fan fiction which has gotten me out of a 2-year-long writer’s block with such strength, I feel truly attached to it. As I mentioned in one of my first answers for 2020, this is the WIP I want to focus on the most and be proud of it.

how do you want to grow in your writing this year?

I mentioned this is my first 2021 post after I took a short break, but one of my resolutions for this year is to work on self acceptance when it comes to my projects. (I’ll copy and paste what I wrote there so I don’t repeat myself with other words) One of my resolutions for 2021 is to write more, to not be afraid of beginning something and even if I end up setting the story aside, at least I will have gotten it out on (digital) paper. I punish myself way too much when I’m not able to finish something, and that is truly one of the worst things a content creators can go through, in my opinion. I have many drafted works that may or may never be published and I wish to appreciate them more instead of dwelling on the fact of what they could have been.

what’s one thing you’d wish to see in the fan-writing community this year?

I wish for more love and recognition of the amazing and talented writers that share their content with everyone on tumblr. We are a community, or at least we are supposed to be. I would absolutely love to see more readers actively interacting with writers, share ideas, share art inspired by what you read! As readers, you can contribute as well by sharing moodboards, song recommendations and/or playlists! You are more than welcome to join us in the community as writers too! 

As for myself, I have mentioned this towards last year but I still want to compile a list of all the writers I am currently following and read their works. I haven’t been in a good mindset to do that for a long time and I wish to get to know them. I’m a pretty shy person who struggles to start up a conversation, so I hope I get to make some friends on tumblr this year!

name one new thing you want to try doing in your writing this year.

I would like to make a list of aus and experiment with them for either one shots or some short series! I have so many creative ideas and thoughts but I always forget to take a note or maybe I’m doing something else and I end up getting caught up in a stream of consciousness, until I lose the initial spark. Also mentioned plenty of times, I would love to write for other groups, like nct, but for now I’ll focus on exo.

Triple celebration (multiple fandoms + don’t have to be a writer/artist).

I’ve just surpassed 350 followers (thank you all), I share my birthday with the wonderful Sam Winchester and @fandom-princess-forevermore (May 2nd) AND my blog will be a year old on 17th May 2020. So a triple celebration 🥂. 

I wanted to run a challenge / have some fun and I know it’s not quite February yet but for this to work, I think the more time you have the better.

We all know Sam is such a wonderful and caring person, who likes to help people, in honour of this I thought it would be fun to mix it up so you have to collaborate with someone else.

Co-write a fic with a fellow writer, two artists create a mood board/aesthetic together, writers ask an artist to create a mood board/aesthetic/banner/draw a pic for your fic, artists ask a writer to create a fic/drabble/one-shot based on whatever you create (you get the point.)

HI EVERYONE !! i’m so sorry that this blog has been so dead lately and we haven’t gotten the chance to host any special catastrophic events due to work. However, ever since the pandemic (hopefully you’re all staying at home and staying safe!) occurred, I (Mod Guren) decided to reopen the catastrophic summer event! I AM SO SINCERELY SORRY THAT THE LAST CATASTROPHE EVENT WAS A DISAPPOINTMENT. But now I have taken measures so that I do not repeat the same mistake for this event. 

for those of you who are new to this blog, hello! please take the time to read the information down below to understand the rules and the events!

What is this? An event focusing on the lovely ships of the Catastrophe at Sixteen series, involving only the Catastrophe at Sixteen characters~

Who could participate in this? Everybody! Anyone who could create! Fan Art, AMVs, Fan edits, Graphic Makers, Fic writers, etc. Everyone! No matter what you create your contribution would be greatly appreciated! ( However you must also abide to our Guidelines when participating ^^ )

When will this take place? 20 July to 26 July, 2020. 

How does this work? The goal of this event is to spread positivity to the Owari No Seraph fandom, who else is tired of seeing the same characters every year being drawn and only specific events for specific ships? This is the event that promotes all sorts of ships and characters to bring some exposure to new artists, new members of the fandom and new writers! And even if you don’t participate it’s totally fine! Help your fellow creators out and leave nice and encouraging comments, and reblog their content!

EXPLANATION TIME

For everyone that is not interested scroll past this but for any mutual (or not) that is I would really appreciate it if you read this post of commonly asked questions.

Why a personal main blog?

I made tumblr a while ago. And when I say I while I mean when I was 15 and I'm 20 now. That means I already had this blog. Why not making a new account or replacing my main? Mainly because I already had a decent amount of followers that liked my stupidly random posts and because the struggle of logging in and out made most of my ask.fm rp blogs inactive and I didn't want this happening here.

Do you still use your other rp blogs?

Yes and no. I am still there if you message me and I try to reblog a few things to keep everything active but most of my attention is focused on the threads I have in my multimuse. I already have plenty of threads there and sometimes (more like always) I'm struggling to keep up so I can't be jumping between accounts especially when i have a rather lower muse for my other two blogs.

Why SO many muses?

Well, because I have so many muses and I love working on new characters or experiencing new fandoms. I always wanted to write so many characters here and on ask but I never knew how until the idea of a multimuse popped up so I took the leap of faith

Are all the muses on your multimuse active?

Most of them. I have over 50 muses and sometimes it is difficult to keep every single one of them active. But that doesn't mean I stopped writing them or that they'll be removed. I don't really wish to remove muses mainly because I can't know if or should I say when my muse will return because I'm almost certain it will.

Why no bios for the OCs?

As I already mentioned 500 times now what I loved but at the same time hated doing on ask.fm rp was writing character bios. It was cool having to sit down and write but it was exhausting and took too much time. And as a journalist I have little time to spare in this. Most of my cannon characters have bios anyone could revise by the magical method of Google searching them but not the OCs. That doesn't mean I don't have bios ready for them though or that I am not willing to write one. So if there's one or more of my characters that you are curious about please come to my inbox and I shall send you everything you need to know.

Do you write nsfw?

Again, I do and I don't. I don't have a thing against nsfw but I prefer doing something else instead of this. I have a thing for angst. My characters probably hate me for hurting them both physically and emotionally as many times as I do but I guess I can live with that? Well, some things come out more naturally than others and such plots are easier for me to write. That DOESN'T mean I won't do nsfw. I'm just not a natural at it. So it's harder for me to write it and enjoy it.

What about trigger warnings?

Trust me guys, I have some myself so I'm trying to tag as many as I can but sometimes I fail. They will be present in every writing blog. For example I have a character called Hemorrhage. The blood tw will be present in every single one of his threads since blood is literally his ability. So sometimes I just forget to tag it especially if it's not much or if it is a character like Rhys I just mentioned. So beware that some of the tw might not be mentioned especially if not present enough in the thread.

What about icons?

I prefer using icons over gifs but gifs remind me of ask.fm so I can do both depending on what the other writer prefers. I do make icons since some of the face claims I use aren't widely popular yet it is quite exhausting so most of my icons are not my own. I mainly use icons my dear friend @sabrinasrpiconhelp (her blog's amazing, check her out) made for me or others I found online that were free for use. I do claim in my bio and in tags that something isn't mine especially when it comes to gifs but like before it's difficult to do it all the time so don't assume something is my own unless I claim otherwise

Discord?

I do not use discord for personal reasons. Yet I am more than willing to share my social media if I know you well enough and I'm willing to use tumblr messages as well! As a matter of fact I already do for some plots that me and the other writer didn't want to put into threads. I know discord is a big part of this but as I just mentioned, I'm not going back to it or at least not yet mainly because I don't feel like it. Yet as mentioned above, I'm right here for you.

HAPPY FOUR YEAR ANNIVERSARY, WHO IS LEFT !

That’s right, folks –– today is November 6th, which means that WIL has officially been open and active for FOUR FULL FREAKIN’ CALENDAR YEARS. 

It’s never going to get any less exciting for us. Reaching this milestone date every year and getting to look back on all the amazing writers we’ve had in our group, all the incredible plots we’ve gotten to see develop on our dashboard, the wonderful characters who have graced us throughout the years… it’s kind of amazing. We’re a little verklempt, not gonna lie.

When we first decided to open up a group together we knew we wanted to create a space with all the things we love about the RPC. We’re forever grateful that we could build a group like Who Is Left and find people who thrive in the same environment we do. We love the slowburn plots, heavy character development, angst, the worldbuilding, the angst. Everyone who has ever come to write with us, whether they’re still here or not, holds a special place in our little admin hearts: you guys make this possible, and we couldn’t ask for a better group of folks to share our collaborative writing passion.

We have our usual set of anniversary celebrations below, and mostly we’re just so happy to have been around long enough to have traditions like these. In four more years, on our eighth anniversary, we’ll still be as cheesy and overflowing with affection and appreciation, but today we’re celebrating with lovey-dovey syndrome and a new event later this evening and all sorts of goodies to look forward to on the horizon.

Who Is Left members, past and especially present, with so many of you having been with us since the very beginning: you all make us better writers every single day, and we couldn’t be more grateful to be running this group for and writing with all of you. You’re the best, and we love you!

These characters will be more heavily focused on outside Hogwarts, as graduation for the Marauders’ year approaches and the RP will start zoning in more sharply on the First War! And, gosh, we are so ridiculously excited about that.

Hey, all! We hope everyone is having a wonderful weekend and doing well.

We wanted to give a quick update here on a few things so bear with us.

First:

We apologize for the lack of activity recently. One of us has a kidney stone currently, another is sick with a cough, and the other is starting a new job. That’s life for ya and all part of why we remind you that we are totally understanding of this and don’t enforce strict activity rules. We get how life can be and all we ask is that you be here when you can and interact with your fellow members when you can. 

Second:

We wanted to remind you that our SUMMER CELEBRATION is still going on for the remainder of the month of July!

Look for some fun ask memes to come from the group for both your character(s) and the writer! Also, remember that we have a new in character chat setting available on the group discord chat! Don’t be shy and feel free to go in and interact there as well.

We encourage our members to feel free to use the fair as a setting or starting point for threads and/or interactions with each other, but we certainly don’t enforce it. 

We also encourage our members to pay the Electrifying Maximillian a visit and deposit a nickel or two to him (just send him an in character ask) and receive your very own fortune before he disappears! 

Third:

We are currently working on a new format for our group character welcomes and will be redoing and reposting those. Always be sure to follow your fellow members.

Fourth:

We changed a few things on the ABOUT/FAQ page as well as our SUBMISSIONS page. Please feel free to give those a read when you can to see any of the changes we have made.

Eddtober Masterpost: About, Rules, Boundries and Prompt Lists.

About Eddtober

Eddtober is a list of prompts made in an effort to encourage the Eddsworld Fandom to spread their wings of creativity beyond the norms that they are used to, during the month of October.

It is all without harming others or causing drama, a neutral ground for all fans of Eddsworld to come and have fun, no matter what side of a discourse they’re in.

It hopes to promote inspiration beyond the usual angsty and over-dramatised content, to revive a spirit in Eddsworld that hasn’t been seen in many years, and to stretch the invitation to all who can create.

Eddtober calls not only the artists who have a talent for drawing, painting and so forth, but also: the authors (fanfics, journalists, essayists, diarists, poets, ramblers), the cosplayers, the video-makers (animators, video essays, memers, youtubers) and all those who want to be inspired with unconventional creativity.

Eddtober’s motto for the fandom it came from is this: To come forth, be inspired and break from the old and the mold!

With that out the way, buckle up. This post is gonna be a long one under the cut.

RULES 

Base Rules need to be set so everyone can participate in Eddtober safely and in a fun way. Please read them carefully!

Always tag it with #eddtober. Gore and related NSFW is allowed in the challenge, but please tag it as #Eddtober gore, etc. Also, no shortenings or reimaginings of those tags, so the minors on this site don’t find it on accident. Though many of us may be over 18, please keep these things in mind.  

Be Sensitive and Respectful to Others. I know many of us here in this fandom can take easy offence to certain types of art, so please consider and think on your creative piece before you post.

Credit Where Due. This should be blatantly obvious right now, but please, please don’t steal other’s creative fanwork or post it without credit. Always have permission from the creator to post something of their’s, and always have their username when you post it, not just ‘credit to the artist’. If you do not follow this, actions will be taken for your consequences.

Keep yourself chill. You can do one prompt for Eddtober, some of the prompts or all of them - up to you! It’s understandable if life gets in the way. The goal of Eddtober is not to do every prompt, but to be inspired to create fan-content in a way you usually wouldn’t have.

Spread the word. This is less of a rule and more of a personal request from Admin Panda, but since she doesn’t have many social media accounts you’d expect, spreading word of Eddtober would mean a LOT, so they can join in the fun too!

Sharing is caring. Reblogging and sharing from your fellow creators doing Eddtober would be great to give them a motivation and confidence boost!

Go Beyond the Boundries of Your Imagination. The whole purpose of Eddtober is to promote new, fresh things to come up in the Eddsworld fandom and break a cycle of the same old that’s been there for a while. Take a leap, spread your wings, do your best, and go have fun.

BOUNDRIES

Most of this list will be related to Rule Two of Eddtober:

Be Sensitive and Respectful to Others.

Quote:

‘I know many of us here in this fandom can take easy offence to certain types of art, so please consider and think on your creative piece before you post.‘

Whilst Eddtober is a fun, neutral place to spread our creative wings, there are boundries that need to be taken in order to keep everyone safe. Which means certain parts that are usually seen as ‘common’ within the Eddsworld Fandom will not be acceptable in the challenge.

Edd Gould’s death. Admin Panda wishes to make it clear that creative pieces that draws clear lines to Edd’s passing IS NOT okay. This includes Edd in hospital for cancer, Angel Edd or any AU that depicts him as a divine being of any sort (including Blessworld) unless Tom, Matt and/or Tord are also similar divine beings in the AU. Here at Eddtober, Edd's life is something to be celebrated, not his death. While Admin Panda isn’t 100% offended by this, many others are and it should be more recognised as such.

Sinsworld. Believe it or not, the sinsworld tag was specifically made back in the day to keep the porn out of the main. But due to a certain in-fandom event, this intended action has been long-lost. Because of all of these events, any sinsworld (porn, lewds and related NSFW) that’s Sinspired by the Eddtober prompts WILL NOT be accepted into the event by any means. This is because many in this fandom are minors/underage and more who are 18+ are repulsed to porn and such (Admin Panda is part of the latter group). So please, it is fine to be sexually inspired by the prompts, PLEASE keep your Sinsworld content away from the Eddtober tag - don’t put both tags into that post, essentially.

Abusive/Self-Harm Creative Content. No. Just. No. Death or pain like this isn’t allowed to be depicted in the challenge and should never be romanticised or supported. Eddtober aims to be a safe and uplifting space for all creative people, no matter what their space is at the moment.

More sensitivities and boundries will be added onto this list as Admin Panda recieves questions and requests for this area through the askbox here.

PROMPT LIST

Quick reminder: when this list says ‘create something for’, it’s not just referring to fanart - it refers to any medium, digital, traditional or unconventional, that can be used. The challenge here is to be creative as possible, not to stay conventional.

The List features Admin Panda’s Commentary. Some useless, some useful.

Create something for Edd. (Not his real-life counterpart, but the character. That needed some clearing up based on 2017’s results.)

Create something for any pre-legacy season episode, except WTFuture. (You can do WTFuture if you want, but seeing that much of this fandom is currently made of people who came in after The End… It’d be worth having a crack at pre-legacy episodes.)

Create something for Superhero Alter Egos! (It doesn’t have to stop at PowerEdd’s canon either! Go nuts! Give Edd and his friends new superhero alibis and outfits!)

Create something for Supervillain Alter Egos! (Reminder that it doesn’t have to stop at the ‘Green/Blue/Purple/Red Leader scenario! Again, go nuts! Get wacky if you must!)

Create something for Minor characters of the show. (Except the Neighbours - they already have their own prompt.)

Create something for descendants of the main four guys. (Sure, you can make it about the love children of your favourite ships, but the point of this prompt specifically is to not be ship-related. See if you can come up with descendant characters from the bloodlines of the main four.)

Create something for Tord. (He’s late in this list for a reason. Trust me.)

Create something for the neighbours of 29 Dirdum Lane. Are Kim and Katya still there, or are there newbies in the street?

Create something for the neighbours of 25 Dirdum Lane.

Create something for unlucky things happening to the guys, or one of them. Feel free to go as dark or as humourous as you like!

Create something for genderbends of the guys, maybe as if the Ellsworld we know never existed. Or you can stick to canon, up to you.

This prompt is a wild card. Do with it as you wish. (In 2017 everyone was told to quote: ‘go whole hog on this’. The next thing we all knew, everybody literally drew pigs with the guys. That wasn’t supposed to be literally taken, but by god it was hilarious.)

Create something for your crew. Whether you’re the main character with your friends or have OCs taking that place or a mix of both is up to you.

Create something for an AU of Eddsworld. You can make one up on the spot, or even fan content for an AU that already exists is cool too. (As of rule number two of Eddtober, the Blessworld AU will not be accepted for this prompt. I know it is a popular AU, but if you have any issues with this, please contact me in the blog asks myself.)

Create something for Eddsworld as a video game. Whether it’s concepts and covers for your own ideas or fanart for games in the making such as Eddsworld Armageddon, up to you.

Create something for Todd, or whoever the ‘Tord’ figure is of 25 Dirdum Lane.

Create something for a Saloonatics-WTFuture Crossover. (What? Shenanigans could be made here, guys. Just take it!)

Create something for the future selves of the guys. Or if you want to take it up a notch, make your own versions of them! Have them all be hobos (#HoBrosforlife), or have cola not be banned in the future… up to you!

The End who? Create and elaborate on how you would finish off the Eddsworld Legacy season. (For the purposes of this prompt, I can accept an angsty end for this, but I personally do not recommend it. The Eddsworld fandom has had enough unnecessary angst already.)

Create something for Zanta. (I guess you could call him a Nightmare Before Christmas, then.)

Create something for an Eddsworld movie. Whether it’s stuff for the Eddsworld Fan Movie or your own ideas, up to you!

Create something for the deal with Tom’s eyes. If you want to call them that.

Pick a song, any song, and put that on repeat. Use it as inspiration to create something in relation to Eddsworld.

Create something for Edd Gould himself. Not his character in Eddsworld, the real-life person.

An obligatory prompt without Eddtober in the beginning: create something for Edd’s birthday. (This was made into a prompt and will permanently remain as one as Edd’s birthday shouldn’t be taken away from today.)

Don’t be rude, and we’ll get along just fine. This is a kingdom where all muns and writers are welcome; I’m here to have a good time, and I really love meeting new people and writing with a bunch of characters.

There will be adult themes here, such as mentions of abuse, gore, violence, etc. Mostly in Shion’s villain / Bungou Stray Dogs verses. I will go in. I do love a lot of dark themes, so expect to see those here too. There will be absolutely no sexual content on this blog whatsoever. This isn’t it chief. 

My inbox is always open for questions and concerns, or even if you’d like to fling a short starter in there. Literally, you can send me anything and I’ll be happy. I’ll gladly return the kind gesture.

I am fellow OC friendly 110%, multi-muse blog, and Crossover friendly. I frankly do not care if you’d like to interact with Shion if you’re from a fandom I don’t know. Let’s plot it out and make it work! Anything could happen. Mutuals only at this time, please. 

Shion is also still completely single ship! @galaxythixf​‘s portrayal of Monoma Neito is their only romantic partner. There will be no more romantic shipping done with Shion, that’s closed. Therefore, this blog is fully open to as many platonic bonds as possible. Heck yeah, we love good friendship and mentorships!

Cards Against Supernatural: The 2018 New Year’s Eve Party

Got no plans tonight? Stuck at home? Or maybe you know you’re gonna be bored at party? The designated driver who’s waiting on all your hooligans to finish tying one on? 

We got you covered.

We’re gonna have a New Year’s Eve party of our own, and it’s gonna be a marathon. We’ll be ushering in the new year throughout the North American time zones - that’s four full hours of CASPN fun. Wander in-and-out as you please, or even just hop on to watch and/or listen to the hilarity. Amongst other things, we’re giving the Chrismakwanzhanukkah deck one final run, and of course throwing last year’s NYE deck into the mix.

Vet Players: On Dramatic Readings

If you’re a vet, you know we’ve been having a blast with these, closing out our games with a dramatic reading of a Fic Wreck by yours truly. It would be great to break up the games happening tonight in our NYE party (say, every hour or every four or five rounds, depending on length) with some short dramatic readings, which people can take bathroom breaks/snack breaks/refill their drinks during if they so choose.

For our purposes, to be a Fic Wreck Dramatic Reading candidate, it means:

Features a heinously out-of-character Dean and/or Sam --> this is the core characteristic & is non-negotiable

No smut/kinks/Wincest/ABO --> this is non-negotiable

In the 500-700 word range or less (so, a Drabble)

Can be on Tumblr or from an outside site (FF.net, AO3, Wattpad, et al)

If on Tumblr, preferably at least a year old/not currently circulating on all our dashes with great fervor

Preferably not anyone’s BFF or whatever - and NEVER someone in our group, though y’all are certainly welcome to volunteer any of your own short fics if you just want to hear it read aloud in my crazy voices

Preferably features an immature/annoying/etc. “Y/N”

Preferably has an inexplicably high note/reblog/kudos/etc. count for what it is, which is a wreck

Preferably has a plot that is objectively ridiculous and/or plot points that are crazy confusing

VERY IMPORTANT REGARDING VOICE CHAT

If you are going to participate in the voice chat over at Discord *PLEASE* make sure you are in a quiet place, and if you are unable to do so, kindly mute yourself and just listen until you are able.

Also, kindly mute yourself if you need to speak to someone on the phone/someone who is with you in person, and mute yourself if your environment becomes noisy - it happens! No worries! Just jump back in when that’s done/when it’s your turn to read

Have this set up and ready to go prior to game start, and ensure all other apps/messaging on your device of choice are muted.

If you are in voice chat just so you can listen because you can’t/don’t choose to read aloud, that of course is fine, but you need to have yourself muted, please, and communicate via chat that you need myself or someone else to read your hand.

TIPS & TRICKS FOR IN-GAME FAQs

(A kind reminder: most everything I/veteran players are asked in chat during games is covered at CASPN Headquarters)

Should your mic go out/no one can hear you in Discord, same thing applies as it does when you get duplicate cards/can’t choose a card over in the game - REFRESH! Just refresh the browser page for Discord, and give it a second, and it should remedy itself.

It either (1) looks like the blog under this name is inactive, (2) you’ve changed your name and not told me, or (3) there’s a setting on YOUR end that prevents it.

Reminder: I’m taking roll at games so I can keep up maintenance on the tag list - if you aren’t participating often [read: approx. every 6 wks/6 games] & you haven’t let me know to move you to my “Hiatus” list, then you won’t be tagged on posts, but I’ll keep you on the CASPN tags page, listed at the bottom under the time frame you were removed.

It is possible I made a mistake if I get busy and neglect to c/p the roster frequently throughout the game - all you have to do is speak up. If you want to stay on the tags, you need to use a name I’ll know. Otherwise, I couldn’t care less, call yourself whatever strikes your fancy! :)
