It is kind of funny to me when people put fictives and stuff on these pedestals just for existing. Treating them as this cool and amazing thing. This rare item. Something you need to approach differently than for other parts.

But like, at the end of the day I'm just some guy. Like yeah, I'm a fictive of Adam but also like I'm so much more complex than that. You can't really judge me just based on my source because there's so little that is actually similar between things outside my inner appearance and my speech patterns. If you met me with no knowledge that I'm a fictive, I really doubt you'd guess it at any point

So like I don't get those people that make such a fuss over systems having fictives. Oh boy, the brain split a new part and took some inspo from a show. How unique. I'm still just some guy at the end of the day like the rest of the parts in the system.

Yeah, I have source memories, but brainmades can have pseudo memories too. It's not unique to introjects. Yeah, some of us do act very close to source. But still, being a fictive isn't this grand thing some people try to make it. We're still parts in a system just with the brain deciding to do less creative work for design.

i think jerry wanted to marry beth the second he saw her. i think when summer was born, and she resembled her father that he cried from happiness. i think he was a girl-dad, i think he got excited to color pictures with her on the kitchen table and took a picture of her each time she lost a tooth

i think beth never wanted to marry, but was hopelessly attracted to the idea of someone wanting her. i think being a mother scared her more than anything, but watching her husband get excited to raise kids gave her hope that someone could want to raise them and give them the life she always wanted

i think while they both were getting their degree in college and raising their first born, they spent a lot of time with different parenting approaches. jerry was very hands on, beth worked behind the scenes. i think they fought, i think they argued about life being different if the car didn't break down on the way to the clinic, i think they hugged in silence and cried on one another shoulder after

i think jerry would choose beth in every lifetime if it meant he could show her each and every time she's capable of giving the love she deserved. i think beth would choose jerry in every lifetime because he's the first person to think she deserved it

Treating your headmates like separate people isn't worsening your condition by default by the way. Treating them with respect isn't making you dissociate more. Final fusion is a fine thing to try and achieve, but people need to understand that functional multiplicity is a thing you can work to achieve in therapy too. Please stop pushing the idea that you need to treat your headmates like a disorder or curse in order to heal. You can be happily multiple if you want that.

rick loved diane with his whole heart. he purposefully tortured himself with her voice, he sees her in things he loves. i think the reason why he was so desperate to reconnect with any part of his family, regardless of the universe, was to see that there was a timeline where his daughter was able to grow up

i think the reason why he blinded himself from which beth was the "real" beth was because he couldn't bare attaching himself to one in the same way. if he knew which version of his daughter was the current universes "real" beth, that would mean he was fathering something he truly lost. i think it's easier for him to think of beth as a concept in that way, much like how he created the concept of diane in little things like the voice of his car

i don't really like the headcanon that rick and diane were toxic or anything to one another, i just don't think that's something they would do. if anything, i think they foil beth and jerry. i think they brought out a side of one another that was just genuine love, and maybe that's why rick is so outwardly hateful to his daughters husband .. he knows what real love is. he knows the fighting, and the distance, and the negative is what can make up love sometimes. but it's not the purest form

i dunno .. i think if a man was willing to kill a version of himself for his late wife .. then that's true love :)
