The Barbican. Another fabulous example of Londons "Brutalist Architecture". Designed by Chamberlin, Powell and Bon on the Cripplegate site that was heavily bombed during WWII. Contructed between 1965 - 1976 and targetted at "professionals" in the city. I love this elevated development, but I know many who don't. Sketched for a film in pen, ink and tone.

The Empire Cinema, Margate. This fabulous 1930s building was cleaned up and used in the recent Sam Mendes film with Olivia Coleman, Empire of light. It really does have a dance studio and was (or is) called: Dreamland (great name).
