For those that weren't here at the start, I actually did initially have set polls up to be daily, but after a bit of poking at it, I was able to figure out how to make polls weekly and still keep things moving on at a good pace! It seems people have enjoyed that a lot more so I'm very glad I put the work in to make the switch!!

I found the reblogs important too, just cause I know how fast things can disappear on the dashboard, and how hard it can be to remember what events are going on, especially if stuff if happening on a daily basis! Plus I talk to a lot of people in very different time zones, so my morning is definitely someone else's midnight.

hii!! could you tell me about hannibal?(with spoilers) ive seen you posting about it a lot and it seems really cool but i cant watch it (im really bad about gore), but yeah!! i like seeing people talk about things they like!!! (also cause i know you have it in your intro i am a minor [i dont have it on my blog]) (also you can tell me whatever you want about it! like if you wanna talk about the plot or themes or symbolism or whatever!!)

For anyone reading this I’m about to just explain the entire plot of every episode 💪

Okay so I’m on episode six of season one (there’s three seasons) I think I’m just gonna kinda sum it up by episode

So Will Graham teaches forensics at a college, but he also works with Jack Crawford, an fbi agent who does a lot of csi work. Will is known for his skills in being able to put himself in the killers shoes to figure out their methods and motives. He basically closes his eyes, imagines himself as the killer, and explains it all out to Jack. He’s also high key undiagnosed autistic (the mentioned it in the show, too), they also call in a psychiatrist and doctor, Hannibal Lecter.

So there’s this case of girls going missing, they’re all the same demographic and they all look really similar. They’re being impaled on stag antlers, and the guy is removing organs (and eating them) and Will comes to look around. They find out who the guy is, and go to his house. But before they leave to go there, hannibal calls the man and warns him about the fact they’re coming. When they get there, he’s killed his wife and is about to kill his daughter, Abigail Hobbs (around 18 yrs old I think) He slashed part of her neck before Will shot him (10ish times actually) and then will and hannibal take care of Abigail and get her to safety. Turns out, the guy was a hunter and claimed he needed to honor every part of the deer he caught. Pelts, knives from the bones, all that and the meat. He killed the girls because they all looked like Abigail and they all want to one of the colleges she applied to (he really didn’t want her to leave)

As for the cannibalism part, that was him ‘honoring’ every part of them

And now idk if this part happened in episode 1 or 2, but there’s a copycat killer, who struck after garret jacob Hobbs (1st killer) died. He displayed the girl on a stags antlers in the middle of a field, but he wasn’t really honoring her like garret thought he was. It was more disrespectful (I might be wrong on the details on this bc of the next part)

So it cuts to Will, teaching one of his classes (2nd ep) where he’s talking about the copycat killer. He’s mentioning how the killer wanted the fbi to know it was a one time thing, and a sort of symbol. And it pans over the Jack, Hannibal, and another fbi member, Beverly, watching his lecture. And then hannibal starts smiling and it’s revealed (I think! Im a little hazy on the details) that hannibal was the copycat killer. He was all smiley bc Will was catching on to the details and the messages he was trying to send.

little thing ab this blog, if i become a bit less active after the new year just know that im taking a small break to focus more on my art skills and improving on that :))) Ive been feeling lost and stuck with my art for a really long time and i wanna take this chance to get out of the loop a bit since my art process has become really chaotic and i find myself not able to really focus or enjoy any work, even things i look forward to, due to the repetitive nature. But with this being said, will i still post dst? YES. look at other people’s works

looking for inspo and actually working on a ff motivates you on wanting to post so i suggest you to do that! after reading a couple of smaus myself, i decided opening a blog (and i don’t regret it at all ^^) i think planning and preparing a work is smth that would push you to start your blog! i think if you look at other people’s works, you’d be interested to make your own ff :) perfect motivation 💪

how to attract more people to my works?

use a bunch of tags!! it can help people find your works and such ^^ i think having an interesting plot is def gonna make people to check out your works! since you’re just starting, likes/comments/reblogs might be slow but if you continue to be passionate about the work you put out, more people will see that !

but what if i lose motivation?

this is why planning is important !! planning your whole ff out will just make it easier for you to work on them (on your unmotivated days). you won’t always be motivated to complete your ffs which is okay! working little by little is okay too! maybe have posting schedules too (so it can push you to work on your works by the promised dates)

EXTRA !

just publish the work you enjoy! if you aren’t having fun / enjoying the works you put out there, i think it will make you wanting to stop writing. so, you can take your time to work or smth you want, fast updates or not. you’ll soon meet amazing people that will give you feedback on your work :) it may take time to get the attraction you want, but don’t give up ^^ sooner or later, your works could get lots of notes ! i wish you luck <3

it’s raining pretty heavily outside, and you’re laying in bed with your beloved oni who’s rambling about this and that.

he’s half bare, it’s cold yet he doesn’t really mind. he looks and observes you as he talked.

a grin then creeps up to his face seeing that you’re looking at his chest and your hand that was resting on his waist was now on his chest feelings him up.

“sigh, my chest is that distracting huh?” realizing what he meant and said, you quickly took your hands off him and covered your face with the blanket.

“shush! you just looked comfy is all.” he chuckles and scoots closer to embrace you, you’ve hugged him many times before but you’ll always find his chest so damn comfortable.

“don’t get shy on me now, i know how much you love to cuddle onto me.” he pulls the blanket down to pamper you with kisses. “go on, i’ll be your personal pillow for the rest of your life baby.” he smirks pulling you even more closer to him.

“stop that, you’re embarrassing me!” you chuckled burying your face into his chest while he laughed and caressed your hair at the same time. “let’s just take a nap.”

you were getting hella bored, his office have nothing interesting in them so you just stared at the masked man who is too focused to even spare a glance at you.

“did i allow you to stop?” he sighs as he continued to sign papers, you only responded with a grumble and stood up to grab a treat. “do you maybe want coffee?”

he humms in response and so you quickly went out to take some.

coming back with a lollipop in mouth and hot coffee in hand. you noticed his coat is now off and is lying on his couch near his desk.

skipping over to him “careful, don’t want you spilling that thing on you.” he says still not averting his eyes from his papers not like you can see his eyes but you get what i mean

“damn, i wouldn’t mind working with you if you looked like that everyday.” you said sarcastically, taking your seat beside him and placing his coffee next to him and he only scoffed.

he then took his mask off while you admired him as he took a sip of his coffee. he looked so……….. so hot. the outline of his chest is visible through his black turtle neck and his stern expression draw you into him more

“get to work, thought you wanted to eat dinner out tonight. help me finish these, faster.” he ordered giving you a small glare. a small blush creeping up to your face while you looked up to him and his chest

“it’s warm, can you take your coat off already?” you said standing up from the couch to grab some candies from your candy jar that he kept in his lab for you they’re totally not poisoned or filled with some weird medicine

he gave you a look before rolling his eyes and taking his coat off along with his mask. “if you wanted to see my chest, you could’ve just asked, you insolent brat.” he then throws his coat at you and genstures you to come closer to him. “now would you be so kind and tie my hair for me, love?” he smirks and kisses your cheeks. “sure, sure! as long as you’re gonna come home with me tonight so we can cuddle.” you winked.

he sighed, he rarely comes home because of his piled work and experiments but he guesses he can make exceptions for you.

I have written a 10K word fic on my google docs about something like that but it’s almost purely nsfw, but it’s a very dark matter, so I won’t publish it (but if I get motivation for something you better believe I’m gonna write it despite how fucked it may be 🧍‍♀️). I guess it goes kinda under the whole whump prompt thingy, and I mostly just have nsfw on here so far, so I’ll see what I’m comfortable posting later.

But I see so many good dark fics on here, and it’s interesting to challenge yourself to write something completely different. So you bet I’m gonna find some whump prompts later on and most likely cry while making characters go through it hehehe

BUT I LOVE THE PROMPT YOU OU CAME WITH IT’S SO GOOD AND HURTS SO MUCH, I LOVE IT I won’t lie, I’m a sucker for hurt / no comfort (and hurt / comfort of course), there is just something about getting your heart ripped out and stepped on that does it for me, it hurts so good

Writing is therapeutic and has helped me collect bad thoughts and experiences and work through them, so wether they’re wholesome or more disturbing, writing them down is always a good idea 💪
