I guess I'm where I supposed to be

Something strange but beautiful is happening. I am overcoming anxiety. Or at least, I am managing it most of the time.

This period of uncertainty is difficult and I wouldn't have chosen it voluntarily, but perhaps I am exactly where I need to be. I have always struggled with low self-esteem; I am a people pleaser, and all my achievements have always been dedicated to others or done for others (especially my mother).

So losing my job meant feeling my worth diminish because I had tied my self-esteem to an external factor. Now I am working to turn the situation around.

My skills, my value, and my self-esteem must be something autonomous. I am lucky because I am surrounded by friends (and my girlfriend) who constantly affirm that I am valuable for who I am and love me for who I am.

They loved and respected me when I did a more "humble" job in a store just as much as when I became a Senior in a corporate role with a good salary.

Now, the next step is to internalize this truth and accept that, for now, it is better not to address the issue with my parents because it would upset them and me.

Meditation and positive affirmations are working; I feel increasingly confident in myself.

I am reprogramming my brain to have confidence in the future, to trust in my abilities, and at the same time, to trust in the universe, in this force that is within me and everyone and above all, that ultimately helps us find our way when needed.

I am sure that one day I will look back and think of this period, which initially seemed like the end of the world, as something precious that allowed me to grow, understand myself, and face life even better.

In the chaotic rhythm of life, I find myself unknowingly running a race. It's a race that everyone seems to be part of, a race where the finish line is a mystery but the pressure to keep running is immense. I'm just 21, yet the weight of expectations feels like a burden. Life happened, plans crumbled, and now I stand still, feeling like I'm falling behind.

The funny thing is, the finish line isn't even in sight, yet the rush to live intensifies. At 21, I'm just a year older in this vast adult world, but the need to have it all figured out haunts me. Society's predetermined milestones haunt my dreams: university at 18, post-grad at 21, job at 23, marriage at 26, children at 27... it's like we're all stuck in this collective dream, compelled to follow a path that gives me nothing but anxiety.

I crave freedom from this race, a chance to break free from the blur that life has become. I yearn for a life where I can breathe at my own pace, where I don't feel rushed to meet arbitrary deadlines. Maybe it's time to question these societal norms and find my own path, even if it means stepping out of this race and embracing the uncertainty. 🌿 #LostInLife #BreakingFree #FindingMyPath

We are reminded that our time is not necessarily what dictates our life. We may feel this is our time to do certain things in life yet the Universe puts the brakes on. When this happens we can lose faith, trust and hope. Our angels remind us that we are protected and many times that closed door is happening for our own good. This is a Time when things may slow down a bit and we may feel some fear. We are encouraged to not fear or try desperately to fix something but trust that Divine Love is working for our good. A door may close temporarily and when things change the door may swing open again. Don’t try to shove the door open that the angels have shut. Allow prayers and positive energy to deal with the situation. Negativity can bring forth a desperate and confusing energy. Remain positive and know you are cherished and loved by a creative force greater than any human love can feel. There is someone that needs to allow a shut door to remain closed and change a path direction. What is behind that door has not served you well and is very selfish. You had good intentions and they did not. The timing was off and for this door to open again major things need to happen. Things out of your control would have to take place. The path was not peaceful but now it can be. Change direction and let Divine Wisdom guide and direct. Be at peace.
