Finley found a little friend under the sea! And also saved the day for Rambley and all his friends on land from Salem.

I truly didn't expect me to finish this comic but I did! Also if you can't tell Finleys my favorite lol.

Scary Finley! had alot of fun sketching this one. The axolotl inspired gills r alot more visible here, plus i gave him a moray eel-inspired second jaw! yk, just for some extra charm ;)

he's supposed to be over water here, so his hair is laid back alot more. I'd like to think its rlly heavy and you can only ever truly see the full volume of it when he's under water with it, since it sorta just clings to him mostly when on the surface. I did give it a lil bit of a curl, but that's mostly cuz i couldnt help myself hehe

I'm convinced that Finely from Indigo Park is at least in part inspired by the sea serpents from the Disney rides 20,000 Leagues Under the Sea and Submarine Voyage. I also hope this means Finely's area will have a bit of that submechanophobia/decayed underwater attraction type of vibe that I love so much

Like look at them, do you see what I'm seeing? Because this was my first thought when I saw Finley's design

Also, both of the rides the real-life sea serpents belonged to are now defunct adding further connections to Indigo Park, which is in disrepair and seems to have been for a while now. There also the fact that the 20,000 Leagues Under the Sea ride was left to rot and decay for a while once the ride closed up, which again, I think is also the case with Finley's ride area, and Indigo Park as a whole.

Finley the sea surphent!!!! He's just popping in to say hello to you (though he probably wouldn't because of how obnoxiously shy he is). He is just such a cutie and he is my favorite character in Indigo park!!!

some fun little details i encountered watching my incredible and goated friend play indigo park, ignoring everything rambley had to say in the process lmfao:

The piano behind Lloyd's stage is interactable, it plays the indigo park theme

The soda flavours on the bird up machines are references to peeps who worked on the game

finley's busted animatronic in rambley's railroad doesn't have any collision lol

there's an.... interesting ... shop opposite jetstream junction.

The security cameras around the place follow the player!! They're presumably operated by rambley, but when rambley turns on the camera on the monitor the light is blue. the lights on the cameras are yellow-orange, so it could potentially be a different operator?

AND ONE MORE THING THAT I'M NOT SURE IS FACTUAL, BUT IT DID KINDA LOOK LIKE IT

The Isaac Indigo statue holding rambley's hand appeared to me to be following the player?? as in his head was looking at the player i THINK??? could've just been the lighting but i swear it looked like it to me

EDIT: There are security cameras WITH LIGHTS ON behind the stage, despite rambley insisting that he cannot see behind the stage.
