Taking a day off work that should lol...hopefully be pretty chill. 8:30am infusion seemed like a hell schedule, but it's not bad!! After this finishes, I go to get my hair silvered again. i have this specific tooth that like, when hit in a REALLY SPECIFIC SPOT, hurts for like a second, and im assuming its a chipped sensitive tooth and not a cavity, cause like ive been grinding my teeth a bunch and i also dont really see any black spot on there unless im just blind

chat does that sound like a cavity or not cause i dont think it is since like in my experience cavitys i have like when angered hurt for like HOURS and like this doesnt and ive had this chipped tooth for a long time

Idk why this only just showed up at the top of my ask box now but like! Maybe I wish she came into a place of thinking her smile was beautiful, instead! It was beautiful! I don’t think people should have to live with their insecurities but I do think it’s so weird that in ~*~society*~ today people (not just you) are like “of course they got a procedure done to fix their insecurities! That’s great and to think otherwise is Bad!” When it’s like - why can’t I wish they loved unique things about themselves instead? Came to appreciate weird quirks their faces had? I wish Kylie Jenner thought her old facial structure and lip size were beautiful instead of hating it so much she had to change it. It was beautiful! I wish Bella Hadid (was it Bella?) came to love her nose instead of getting surgery to fix it. That was beautiful too! I wish people loved the things that made their face quirky and I hate that we blindly congratulate changing it and act like it’s a 100% positive thing, it enforces the idea that these traits people are fixing are Objectively Bad and yes we should be fixing them, it’s a good thing and they are Fixed. Calling it “fixed” in the first place which many have is even fucked up, in my opinion.

I personally, am just sad it made her so insecure she had to change a defining trait about her face. It wasn’t bad! It was different and cute and made her her. It’s sad she didn’t like it, couldn’t like it, had it removed as such, and now she has one less defining trait. Cosmetic procedures are born from being unable to accept things about yourself. That’s inherently sad. And sorry but I feel like that should be the reasonable approach to have about this stuff.

I found out that apparently my bf has been rejected for his crooked/chipped teeth multiple times and when he was telling me this I was legit like getting Mad. Like idk, he's literally so hot and the nicest fucking person I've ever met in my life and the fact that he had been rejected so many times that he was terrified to show me a pic of him smiling with his mouth open when we met (on a dating app) makes my blood boil. I will tell him at LEAST 10x a day that I love his smile and it's the cutest fucking smile I've ever seen for the rest of our lives. He now sends me pics of him smiling and I max out the reactions on discord from sending every single heart reaction. Fuck people who judge people based on TEETH like that's the dumbest shit.
