15|04|2020 ~ a rundown of my set up

I’m not going to lie, this photo is from last week (maybe?) but I’m posting so, hey! A quick rundown of my set up and whatnot, featuring all the things I’m using on the picture which I spent way too much time editing on procreate–it was fun, sue me. Let me know what you think please! I tried but I’m sure I’ll improve with time and the fun free anime style stamp brushes I downloaded came in use!

Anyway, I need to (F I N A L L Y) revise for my bio test on monday (RIP me) but instead I’m posting on my instagram stories and trying to find motivation– spoiler alert: I have none.

There is this song I have been absolutely obsessed with for the past few months. There's a video game that came out over the summer and there's a character that has become my extreme comfort character. (Lord knows a lot of us here know the value of comfort characters in games, am I right?) I cannot even put into words how much they've meant to me, as part of the game involves a quest where you can choose to help them heal from trauma they've gone through, and I can relate to it. This instrumental song is what plays as battle music in the big fight against the person who hurt them. Catharsis isn't even a strong enough word for what I feel when I listen to this. Something about it just gives such a feeling of strength. Music and well-written characters are funny like that.
