Who else is canceling all their plans tomorrow to play Legend of Zelda Tears of the Kingdom?
I can’t wait to explore Hyrule again and uncover all its secrets and adventures! The beauty of this game always makes me lose myself in it.

According to my Facebook memories it's been four years now since I started working on my first real embroidery project. Four years since I got irretrievably hooked on embroidery! So in honor of that, here is a repost of the project that started it all.
Side note, if you look close you can literally see the learning process in this piece. I think so at least. I can tell which of the big flowers was the first one stitched, and which was the last, simply by the quality of the satin stitch. And I can tell which bullion knots are less practiced. Etc.

I finished the little flower embroidery. I didn't want to overdo it and opted for this sketchy simplicity.

Chrysanthemum hoop as a gift for @lalamelania because she is an angel of patience and lets me practice my Spanish with her.
I've been in a bit of an all-around burnout the past few months, but I'm slowly emerging, and that includes embroidering again. This hoop came out way more goth than anticipated, and also involved me staining my hands and some of one of my chairs black by accident, but hey, I like how it ended up. Done entirely in whip-stitch.
