If...this Saturday...we see Luz and/or Hunter telling the others what they've been keeping from them, we might see a really ramped up version of the following and it's going to be emotional on a new level:

The real reason Willow stopped smiling.
Tumblr media
Everyone saying Willow hasn't forgiven Amity because of the "bullying", but it's not true.
Amity never actually bullied Willow, but protected her from Odalia. Understanding Willow proves without a shadow of a doubt that Amity was never a bully: She only and I mean ONLY acted like that because Odalia forced her to. Everything we saw early on was Amity just putting on an act she was always just pretending to not care about Willow to make sure she didn't get kicked out of Hexside, cause Odalia said she'd do it if Amity maintained her friendship with Willow or being friendly with her. The point is Amity is not and never was a bully. This episode makes it clear that Amity never wanted to hurt Willow and was just forced into it, she always loved and cared about her best friend, because like I said before she was just putting on an act to protect Willow from Odalia and that's it. That's all it ever was.
Willow did forgive Amity and knew that she has been only pretending to be bully to protect her and never wanted to betray or hurt her at all. They had mended their friendship in Wing it Like Witches after their reconciliation with Understanding Willow. "Patched things up" means you mend your friendship with someone, so Amity and Willow became friends again in Wing it Like Witches which chronologically takes place either a few weeks or maybe one month after Enchanting Grom Fright.
Despite rekindling their friendship, in Follies at the Coven Day Parade, when Amity said "I'm glad we can be like this again", Willow stopped smiling, now knowing that what she and Amity had before isn't the same as it was and she feels like it won't ever be that way again, even though she'd like it to be, but they are at the very least back to being friends again.

One thing I love about Eda and Raine is the immediate forgiveness they both have for each other. They haven’t seen each other in twenty years and the last time they did was their breakup, but yet their first interaction is that both of them save each other (Raine by stopping the coven scout from grabbing Eda, and Eda by helping the four bards escape), and then they’re back to bantering and teasing each other.
Then after Eda tells the story of how they met in “Them’s the Breaks, Kid” she looks at the sky and says out loud, “Oh, Raine…you’d better be okay.” She isn’t even slightly angry that Raine and her dueled and that they pushed her away at the Coven Day parade; instead, she’s concerned about their safety.
When they finally meet up again in “O Titan, Where Art Thou,” plenty of people in the fandom expected Eda to be angry with Raine for lying to her even if it was to keep her safe, especially since their breakup was about her not being honest with them. Instead, she looks slightly awed at the affection it evinces that Raine cared so much about protecting her.
So many changes for miscommunication, anger, and hurt between the two of them, and instead it blossoms naturally into immediate forgiveness and understanding.

Luz remembered what the collector said differently.
In "Edge of the World" she recalled it being "let's slash and rend and crush and bruise, let's curse the land in nine bright hues". In "Hollow Mind", it was "we'll play together me and you, when we paint the land in nine bright hues".
Tumblr media
This also happened in "Follies at the Coven Day Parade" where she remembered her mom telling her to never go back to the boiling isles but in "Yesterday's Lie" she actually told Luz to promise her to stay home and that she'll swear things will be different.
Tumblr media
It's no surprise that she remembered those two events differently since they were both pretty emotional moments and plus human memory isn't perfect.
I know someone has said this before and that a lot of people figured it out but I thought it was still a cool detail.

“Free of wild magic?” How's he supposed to do that?
Good question. As far as I can tell, wild magic is just... magic. The so-called Coven System just organizes how people use it. So I don’t see how you could defeat wild magic without just destroying magic all together.
And that would be a terrible idea, wouldn’t it?
Tumblr media
Wouldn’t it.
