Wisdom Saga athena trying to be the mentor to telemachus that odysseus deserved... giving him positive affirmation instead of brushing him off ("you're a good kid" vs. "we'll see where it ends")... immediately claiming him as a friend instead of insisting that their relationship is strictly business... much to think (and sob) about.........

I know there's alot of things everyone is talking about from the new Echoes of Wisdom trailer, but my personal favorite so far is that Zelda can and does hide in pots
Like look at her! She's so tiny and adorable!

Okay I think that one thing we're really not talking about is how Telemachus adds something to the end of each song, the exact moment we think it's over.
"If I fight those monsters, is it you I'll find?
or
"Tell me Athena why you came to my aid"
He's setting up for the next song, telling us that there's still more to it. In the Wisdom Saga, he figuratively acts as a reprise to Odysseus, through his relationship with Athena and the riffs Jay pointed out in We'll Be Fine.
That's why I think it's especially important that in We'll Be Fine, Athena is the one adding to the end of the song.
"You're a good kid."
Though Telemachus technically has the last line there too, it's not one that provokes action. Instead Athena adds a line, which in theory didn't need to be there. In all technicality, the song had ended. The next song, she takes action.
She's giving herself a reprise. A second chance.

I just can't stop thinking about Athena at the end of God Games. Really bringing me back to a lot of stories about child abuse, ngl.
Like, she was given instructions, she followed those instructions, and then Zeus took her doing what he told her to do like it was an insult and PUNISHED HER.
LITERALLY PUNISHED FOR DOING WHAT HE TOLD HER TO DO.
And in the main animatic in the live, she doesn't even really fight back. She just defends as she's repeatedly struck down by lightning over and over, her shield breaking, her armor shattering and she still dares to approach while she is literally ON THE GROUND AND BLOODY.
The goddess of war begging the king of the gods and god of oaths to keep his word
A girl pleading with her father to keep his promise.

This is sort of salty but one of my tumblr/social media pet peeves is when people assume the cause of a lack of engagement is anything and everything other than "people are not picking up what you're putting down." Like, yeah, there are people who like and don't reblog your fic or your long post, but sometimes it's because people liked your post to save it for later, read it and said "hmmmm I don't care for this" and then never cleared out their likes. I'm a big proponent of reblogging your own work that you're proud of but sometimes you have to admit that people are seeing it and saying "hard pass". And to be clear, I cannot judge with any objectivity if you are a misunderstood genius or a massive idiot, though I'll certainly have my own thoughts on it, but usually a post not getting notes isn't a conspiracy against you or other people's fear of being uncool or them not knowing how to use the website; sometimes people just didn't like what you said or even were merely totally apathetic to it. At the very least if you're incapable of humility and self reflection you should just assume you are a misunderstood genius and move on instead of sulking. If you are, in some cosmic truth, a massive idiot, this won't improve that situation, but you'll probably feel better and won't alienate people further by being both an idiot AND a sulker.
