thinking about luke (again) and lately my mind keeps getting dragged back to the moment in a new hope when he comes back to find the homestead burned and owen and beru gone- and how in that moment there’s not this great exclamation of grief from luke, but just a single look of devastation on his face and that always sends me down a spiral about grief because yeah- grief can be like that, especially giant, all-consuming, world-altering grief. no screaming at the sky. no tears. just silence. shock. and after that luke gets up and goes on to save the galaxy. but what really stops me- what i really keep coming back to- is just thinking about afterwards, after the second death star gets destroyed- how there must have been a moment where he just went ‘oh’ because where was he to go then? because that’s one of the things i think is so easy to overlook, because unlike leia with alderaan and how overt and obvious it is she can never go home, with luke and tatooine its quieter, more like one of those awful revelations that unfurl in your belly- because he could go back, but what to? and i think it’s from such an awful moment that we get this beautiful nature from within luke of wanting to build a home for others with his school and there is something about that, that idea of him really getting to turn the worst moment and feeling in his life into a mission to help others, that once again just endears me to him so through how absolutely human he is and i will never stop talking about it

Accidently turned my little moment into a small break! Didn't mean to be so quiet on the blog haha. But I've been watching a show while I wait for the WH update and aaaaaugh. I would post doodles but it'd be so unlike my usual WH stuff.

#okay so I feel kinda bad rn because scratch been my main for awhile now and still is#like my self ship with him is a comfort ship for me#but bill kinda took over and I feel a bit guilty because one) I’m not focusing a lot on scratch like I use too#two) I feel like people who probably followed me for my ship with him are going to get disappointed because I keep focusing on bill#like I make jokes about scratch always pulling me back everytime I get a new crush but I wasn’t expecting to fall so hard for bill#don’t get me wrong scratch is still my 1st main and I’m still going to draw my ship with him and work on that comic#but rn I’m just really focused on bill#like I know I have a habit of jumping f/o(s) at times but this feels different#and I been feeling kinda sad about it#so I don’t know if others in the community have felt this or worry about disappointing other who followed them for something else#and I know it’s my blog and I can do whatever I want but I still stress about it#💬 chy chatter 💬

hellooooo i just wanted to make a post to say that i am leaving dtblr for real </3
ive had sooo so so so much fun here and i think you all are so awesome and incredible and creative and funny and nice and i don't regret a single second of it all. But the lows of being in this fandom are too much and put way too big a strain on me so i decided it's just time for me to move on. I'm leaving this blog up the way it is but i am moving to @froggyrights2 if you want to follow me and see me talk about different stuff!
I might still pop in here sometime in the future but not for a while right now.
