ok i understand why i saw myself in one of the other tunnels in deepnest now. what an amazingly cool concept, and nosk was also a really fun boss fight!
#for context nosk is a giant spider creature that lures in its prey by creating a lure that looks like them or like someone they love#apparently it can look into their memories to identify something that will tug at their heartstrings and get them to follow it!#which to me does beg the question of whether your player character has any memories to speak of... so little is known about their background#or why they're here or what their goals are... i guess the curiosity of seeing your doppelganger can be just as good a lure as a loved one#but did nosk choose that because curiosity was most likely to get them to follow it or because they had no memories for it to exploit?#i get the feeling a lot of this will be answered and i do already have some idea of where the knight came from based on spoilers -_-#but i love the not knowing and the ambiguity so far!#i love slowly uncovering the lore in this game i love the concepts and the design and just. everything about it#hollow knight
