Companies and creatives who's logos I liked the most:

Oded Ezer Typography, Signature Theatre Company, Arts Affairs, Hotel Arts Barcelona, Pose magazine, Forart, Akerman Daly, J Herwitt, Matt, At What Cost. 

I focused on brands and designers in the creative industries to identify key features and representations of creative careers that I can later experiment with in my logo. Most of these logos use handwritten textured glyphs. I love Forart's creative approach and the way the varied letterforms are used in the logo created by Wiktor Pawlik. It's obvious that this art foundation works on a range of design disciplines and produces a variety of projects.

I liked Oded Ezer's typography led logo, which really demonstrates the type of work he creates and the colour schemes he uses.

Day 13:  #mayvinylchallenge : Bought Before Listening | For Art When thinking about this, a lot of albums come to mind. Well, some singles as well. But they were all of the CD variety. So it took me a moment to recall one bought without hearing the music first, but the art drew me to buy it. The album of mention is: 🔺️ Washed Out - Mister Mellow [2017] The third LP from Ernest Greene aka Washed Out, it's release would find itself on legendary Stones Throw Records. Taking a cue from it's ultra sunshine yellow cover, the record is a vibe-filled psychedelic dance party, with watery ghostly vocals giving the tracks a secondary vibe of the post-party...the sludgy realizations of it all. Floating from one song to another, Mister Mellow delivers on the mellow vibe, and along with the detailed artwork of affirmations, buttons, clocks, cigarette butts, pills, joint roaches, etc, shows that the mellow comes sometimes with a vice. Being well-aware of Washed Out's music, I had not known or heard about this release upon seeing it at my favorite record store @parkavecds . I took one look at the cover and said the following (paraphrased): "Aww sh!t! New Washed Out! Look at this cover! WELP!!!" This is a testament to how a good cover goes a long way. If the artwork speaks and resonates with the music inherent, then it is a perfect combination, thus a vast reservoir of multimedia art. Or sometimes the cover is just good. I still think it counts for something special.
