Komorebi - sunlight leaking through trees

Komorebi is about finding those little shafts of light and pausing to get re-energised, before going on. Western philosophy tells us that there is light at the end of the tunnel. In a very interesting contrast, Komorebi reminds us to find those thin shafts of light in between, while passing through the dark tunnel

White Wizard Tower

Apparently I am stuck pretty deeply in Lord of the Rings because while the title fits I can only read is as the tower of the white wizard and not just a white tower that belongs to a wizard. I don't think it's a serious problem though. I wanted to give the impression of a tower shrouded in mystery without going too much into the architectural details. It took me maybe two hours to finish it after wrestling my paints for a slightest tint for the background instead of going full pink. Acrylic sketch on paper, 30×20cm.
