Rainbow

The world was white.

Everything was new in my eyes

Nothing could go wrong with all these highs.

The world was black.

I had no future in sight

All I could feel was my fathers might.

The world was blue.

I was always sad

I got worse when he died, I felt so bad.

The world was pink.

I felt so in love

Until I gave our relationship a shove.

The world was red.

Anger filled my veins

No one could hold me in my dying days.

The world was yellow.

I had a new world to live

Filled with friends who helped me strive.

My life is a rainbow.

Filled with trauma and light

But I can’t let the bad ruin my life.

Forgive Yourself.. Forgive yourself for all the times you let yourself down. Forgive yourself for all the times you hurt yourself. At a Stand Point

I know you’re upset

Because what I did 

Hurt

But I wasn’t in control

I was having one of my

Emotional episodes 

It isn’t fair 

For you to stay mad 

Because the person 

Who lashed out 

Isn’t here anymore

Giving me the silent treatment 

Only makes this worse 

It triggers my emotions 

And just makes me hurt

The cycle will just continue 

Until you make a move

I need your patience 

And understanding

Not a cold shoulder  

I told you im sorry

Admitted my wrongs 

And that’s all I can do 

If that isn’t enough 

I don’t know what to tell you

I just hope you know

That I'm trying my best.
