Maybe John's not actually crazy for thinking Hey Jude is to him? “For well you know that it's a fool who plays it cool by making his world a little colder.” fool is, in my tin hat world, often a code name for Paul in their songs. And that description is certainly him to a t actually. I wonder why I've never considered it before. 

John: are you happy here, honey? Paul: I ain't happy here my honey, can you take me back? How many songs does Paul write from 1968 on about trying to go back? One day I'm going to make a list and it'll be a long one. 

And thus begins the phase of they just can't help it, can they? But they really wish they could. They make each other so so happy, but they really wish they didn't. It would hurt less that way. 

I love the comparison of Linda's pictures of everyone else and then of John. It just shows that it's not a her problem – that's such a lovely one of George, who Hates Yoko – it's how he feels about her.

John, coming up with every possible weapon to provoke Paul, finally has Yoko sing Paul's part in one of their songs. It really is such a slap in the face. But of course breaking the sanctity of their music is what does it best. And still, all he gets out of him is a look before he walks away. Whatever it is that John wants, I think Paul literally can not give it to him. 

Btw the white album is my favorite, probably. There's just such incredible diversity on it. It's so much fun, you never get tired of it, and it's an excellent display of their genius and versatility.

But hell, if I've ever seen attention-seeking behavior, this is it. Singing about wanting to die while seductively undressing the closest thing Paul would've had to career competition at the time. 

I'm sorry but it will forever be hilarious to me that when John's singing his part of “I've Got a Feeling” with Yoko it's “soft dream” and then with Paul it's “wet dream”. How John and Yoko tricked everyone into believing they were too horny for each other to control themselves is beyond my imagination. 

On the day John plays their sex tape, “Unusually, Yoko is not present.” LMAO girl same. John: I'm going to play our sex tape for the band tomorrow. Yoko: oh was that tomorrow? Damn, I forgot, I have a thing. 

“Well that's an interesting one.” What did John honestly expect, though? Like I know he wanted Paul to be like, “that's it! Enough is enough I'm taking you home and doing you right!” Or whatever. But what did he honestly, realistically expect?

Always saying the same things at the same time, always on the same page, same word. About everything, it seems, except their relationship.

Everyone's trying to figure out the problem with George vs JohnandYoko and Paul's saying “and like with Yoko, they’re real. They mean it.” Linda laughs. “I don't dig that.” You don't, Linda? What about them isn't real to her, I wonder. Does she think they don't really love each other? Or what?

Linda: *Makes fart noise* Go away! Paul: continues to defend them. Neil: everybody cough. See and this is why it sucks that get back was so edited. Because it's important that Paul's defending them here not just going on and on where nobody asked. He knows he's hurt John, and he feels bad enough about it to let him have his mommy with him at all times if that's what he needs.

If what??? Someone needs to force them to finish their damn sentences. Because I feel like he cuts himself off here when (I swear!!) he's about to say what it is that's hurting John so badly.

Anyway, here's where (imo) he's kinda wrong. Where he says "if it came to a push between Yoko and the band, it's Yoko." I think I said it in my get back posts, but I'll say it again. Yeah, if it was Yoko or the band, it's Yoko. But if it's Yoko or Paul filling all the gaps Yoko is currently filling? It's Paul. You know? And I think that's what John wants so badly at this time, actually. Is “a push between Yoko and [Paul]” ending with Paul stepping up for him in some way that he wasn't before, you know?

He really does get it though. John wanting to be as close as possible with Yoko so he doesn't lose her and their connection. Don't forget he does put Linda in his band. He gets it because it was the same with him and John. 

I really do think it's a huge myth that they just never talked about feelings or anything serious. Look at them. This is how they talk in a crowded place with their girlfriends sitting right there. They didn't just get through fifteen years of one of the greatest collaborations in history never actually talking. They talked about deep stuff. And frequently.

You just hated each other for no goddamn reason

From what you could remember at least

Your groups met up, and maybe he gave you a look, maybe you didn't like his attitude or you or him made a comment

You guys were very competitive over who was better at their craft so that was probably it

You guys just despised each other

Which was pretty bad since you guys had to be close together almost all the time

Your bands were friends with each other and your producers had the great idea to do some sort of Collab since both bands were similar

You and Tom were at each other's throats the entire time you had to be close together

And what was worse?

Fans seemed to not care, seemingly putting you guys together as a ship they thought was cute

It seemed like they wanted to torture you

They seemed to love the "tension" between you two, as the tabloids put it

And worse, you were scheduled to do photoshoots and interviews with Tom with just you two

Maybe it was the work of everyone together

Mainly Bill and the lead singer in your band, they got annoyed with how much you guys would throw insults

So they forced you guys to be in shoots, interviews, videos, anything to make it get better

They didn't think it would work, but they indeed did try

At first it was rough, the worst it ever seemed to be with you and Tom

You thought he was an asshole and he thought you were stuck up and boring for thinking he was an asshole

But somehow and someway, you both seemed to dwindle together

It took so long, but the more and more time you spent together, you actually forgot why you hated each other

Instead of both of you being miserable, you forced yourselves to talk to one another to try and at least not annoy your band mates

And it actually worked

You found out you both had shit in common, liked certain hang out spots, had almost similar hobbies and obviously, you both loved being the electric guitar and guitarist for your bands

Somehow that was a even ground for you two

But it didn't stop there, Tom thought it would be funny to flirt and mess with you

And that's how you both ended up "playfully" throwing both flirty and actual insults to one another

One day you could be at each other's throats, one day you could be cool and be fine as hell

Nobody knew what to expect but it was certainly better than before

Everybody was just glad that you two seemed to finally get along, but were even annoyed more at how you both still kept up the act of thinking the other one was a bitch

You both refused to actually admit the other wasn't all that bad

Okay, so let's start with the assumption that the cookie is a red herring. I do not believe for a second that they weren't making a cheeky little wink at the audience when they had them talk about literal red herring while talking about that review.

I'm not saying that I think Donna didn't poison him, I do. But the cookie isn't what killed him, and they're all just assuming that both attempts were made by the same person.

I think we're really down to Cliff and Tobert.

Tobert is just... god, he's so suspicious. lmao. It almost feels heavy-handed if it's actually him?? But I wouldn't put it past them, either. All that stuff about how murderers try to join investigations, the breaking and entering, him giving Mabel all that technology (which might give him access to her investigation), him always showing up right at important moments, his fight with Ben right before the show... It could still definitely be Tobert.

But... Cliff is still a possibility, too, I think. He's still such a weird little wild card, honestly. Who knows what that Oedipal man might do if he finds out what his mom did? Or if he finds out about the reviews himself? And we still don't have a super clear picture of his relationship with Ben. We've seen Ben snapping at him a lot, but... hmm...

I went back and rewatched the scene where Ben comes back and Cliff doesn't seem as thrilled to see him as he probably should be, all things considered. I will say that much.

But that phone call that took Ben out of the room after his return and before the elevator shaft... I forgot about that call... Big Tobert vibes with that call, though I can't... remember if they ever followed up on that. I know Mabel asked Dickie about it, but he dodged the question, and... did it ever come up again...? (Help me tumblr juan whoever the fuck you are, you're my only ho.) But it was a person who wasn't in the room who Dickie recognized, and it was a name that made Ben's smile fall right off his face. We know that Ben fired him before the show and he said that Dickie "ended his contract" after Ben's death, but...

I just can't think of anyone else who'd call and make them both look so serious, y'know? Like maybe he had compromising footage or something...? idk.

1. First is mal/astarion fic that's sucking all of my soul out (in a good way) and the first few times i sat down to write it i ended up with tears in my eyes. it's sweet and hurty at the same time. i haven't touched it with neither proofreading nor editing so it might be a bit yikes but it is what it is:

“I was never very good with a bow,” Maleane sighed as soon as the arrow jumped away from the string, flying straight past the tree, through the branches, to land in an embarrassing thud on the ground.

Her father had tried to teach her when she was little, lining up a row of sacks filled with hay along the edge of a fence. Yet no matter how hard Mal tried, no matter how many hours she poured into loosing arrows into the targets, the bow proved as unyielding as it had been the first time she’d tried. While the drow followed instructions better now that she was older, Astarion’s efforts proved to be just as futile as those of her father’s.

Yet, the spawn’s intentions didn’t come from the same altruistic need that Lathorien had been known for. He didn’t approach her with the clever proposition to actually teach Maleane some of his fine archery tricks. It was an entirely different set of skills that he intended on using, a technique much more covert and insidious, the rest of the performance was nothing but a decoy. Astarion wanted to get close to her, and as she stood there, bow in hand, fingers pulling on the string, he swiftly shifted behind her. Just another one of those games they used to play with each other. Lies, manipulation, guile. The rogue adjusted her hold on the metal grip, his other hand pulling her hips to the side. He thought himself so subtle and clever. Yet, as Astarion moved away to give her enough space for a shot, something inside him shifted uncomfortably. A notion that sent worry down his esophagus, to fall into the pit of his stomach with an unsettling thump. He didn’t want to let go.

OKOKOKO SOOOO!!

This campaign is gonna be set in fantasy/sci-fi, with machines and things but they’re all powered by magic which is supplied by the government. Apparently they get the magic from a big hourglass which nobody has ever seen.

The plot starts out with the party being summoned to the government’s crime unit and are told ‘hey we kind of have a LOT on our hands rn so can you track down these low class criminals?’ and a lot of the party has been sent to do community service and this counts as that.

So the low class criminals consist of Magnus, Bav, Reverence, and scales and tails who are twins. Soo a quick run down on each one.

Magnus is a human warlock who can be identified since he has a burn mark across his face, across his mouth. Like the stitches on zombies? And his crime is that he was accused of murder and he was found at the crime scene sooo.

Bav is a half orc druid who was accused of murdering her younger brother. And she’s kind of like karlach from bg3

Reverence is a tiefling cleric and she was tossed out of her church because she’s actually a multi-class cleric/warlock (not sure if you can do that but uhhh yeah) and she committed arson

Scales and Tails are lizardfolk twins who wear identical gold bracelets on their wrists. Scales is more of an outgoing kid, kind of like lark and sparrow and seems to have no fear and tails seems to have only fear. (That’s because Tails died when he was younger and Scales sold his fear for tails to come back as a hologram in the bracelets but that’s a secret for later heheh)

The main villain is Songbird, an ex-singer (pop idol?) who murdered a group of government officials. He keeps his identity behind his porcelain mask. He’s a water genasi bard. And he actually dated and was engaged to Magnus at the hight of his fame and while magnus was still working for the government. Songbird has a origami bird tattooed on his neck and leaves origami birds at the crime scenes of his murders. Oh he’s a serial killer now i forgot to add

(Magnus’s soul is tied to the couple’s engagment rings and if he falls in love with anyone else, his heart will explode. Songbird cursed him lmao)

After all, the way Gojo's ability works is "bring Infinity" into reality - he acknowledges that technically "infinity" isn't real but his powers make it so anyway.

So, logically, the world of JJK functions the same ways as ours in terms of physics but sorcerers can play around it with their CTs. 🤔

Sad but true and it's fucking awful.

The only reason why curse users would go all out is because they know Gojo isn't there anymore. This also applies to You-Know-Who as well. I swear the only reason he did what he did recently in the manga is because the ultimate threat to his You-Know-What is finally eliminated thru cheating with the CT he stole.

The fact that Kokichi acknowledges that he did wrong, expressed regrets, and worked hard to redeem himself is why he is one of my faves. I'd defend his bad choices! And he is much better than Sugu-!

I find Gojo's overwhelming faith disturbing. It's sweet but disturbing nonetheless.

tbh i do actually like the stolen memory theories regarding birthdaygate but i get why some people might not/worry about the execution of the theory in canon, so i think coming up with other possible theories involving will’s bday being forgotten would be cool!! but the thing that confuses me the most is how some people (bylers mostly) still think the duffers genuinely forgot? like, their logic behind forgetting will’s birthday was that they hadn’t seen season two in forever, but s4 as a whole is proof that that’s a bold-faced lie. so if their reasoning for forgetting his birthday is a lie, then why am i supposed to believe the rest isn’t?

6. What is your favorite genre of horror? (paranormal, slasher, etc.)

Answered this yesterday, so copypasting for ease! I’m a biiiig big fan of paranormal stuff. Psychological horror plus anything supernatural - I’m a massive Haunted House movie fan, for example. Anything that involves ghosts or supernatural entities, especially if we’re talking dead children and ancient gods. Nothing better than creepy and/or dead kids. I also love both folk horror and religious horror a ton!!!! Be that your classic catholic demon frightfest or some of the fantastic stuff that’s come out of South East Asia recently.

Also forgot to add that I really like stuff that features hostile nature/nature hitting back at people/ecological disasters. Thinking stuff like The Bay (which is excellent, one of my fav found footage horrors!)

10. Are there any horror movies/franchises you find overrated?

Oh this is a DIFFICULT one. I truly love all types of horror and each genre has its good and its bad example and just because I don't like a genre or franchise as much as other ones (not the biggest fan of slashers, for example), doesn't mean they're necessarily overrated (so I can't rly comment on the big ones the likes of Friday 13th/Nightmare on Elm Street/Halloween/Scream cause I've only seen a few of those)?

That being said, a lot of initially good movies had sometimes terrible followups though (looking at you, The Descent 2, Blair Witch 2 and Ginger Snaps 2...). Also yeah, they can really stop making Saw movies now lmao. And maybe slow down on some of The Conjuring franchise stuff cause there were some really fun ones in there, but by now it's getting pretty boring 😂

Pokémon Legends Arceus Theory

Y’all remember that “found footage”-style reveal trailer we got for Hisuin Zorua and Zoroark? 

I’m pretty sure that the unnamed and unseen person recording it is Ingo.

He’s explicitly stated to be another time traveler, but unlike the player character, he’s lost his memory and has no Arc phone.

We can see that the phone is lost during the filming; from the environment, it’s clear he’s in the Alabaster Icelands, where the Pearl Clan base camp is located.

It is also the site of Lake Acuity, home to Uxie.

And according to one of the Pokédex entries:

Known as "The Being of Knowledge." It is said that it can wipe out the memory of those who see its eyes.

So being attacked by Zoroark, and then, perhaps, seeing the eyes of Uxie, would account for the condition of Ingo’s clothing, the lack of a phone, and the loss of his memories.

Is this conclusive without-a-doubt? No; as has been pointed out to me, Ingo would know damn well what a Zorua is. The Hisuin variant looks very much like its Unovan counterpart.

Still, the rest of the evidence does point to Ingo being our camerman. Which is both delightful and also very rude, Pokémon, how dare.

forgot to mention Hisuin Sneasel can be found in the Alabaster Icelands, so it could very well be that Lady Sneasler found him and brought him to the Pearl Clan. Just bringing it up. :3

i’m loving the lil enemies-to-lovers thing he and aviendha have going on so far, it’s a fun change of pace from elayne and min’s insta-love (although min saw the future and knew she’d fall in love with him so she can’t really help it and she IS still fighting it internally, which is an intriguing dynamic all on its own, and elayne and rand are such cute little puppies i can’t even mind the insane pacing of their romance)
