My activity on here is pretty sporadic, so no one was probably wondering this, but if anyone was wondering why I haven't been very active lately, it's because I got consumed by a new hobby:

Doll Customizing.

I decided to try my hand at it, and it was so fun, I now have six WIPs. someone help.

Some pictures of two of my WIPs:

Frankie Stein redesign that took a life of its own. My first custom: just a reroot and faceup.

Will probably make them a new outfit later.

A fanart custom: Flandre Scarlet from Touhou Project. My fifth WIP, second faceup. Made using a secondhand Howleen Wolf with nasty hair (she was the only small doll I had that I was willing to customize; the only other one is a River Styxx in great shape that I want to keep as-is.)

Outfit made by frankensteining raddollclothes (Requiem Art)'s Looking Glass Lolita and Meido Dresses patterns.

Found a few tutorials online for making the mop cap and did some math to resize it. (Cut out a 6.5" [radius] circle from white cotton, stitched in elastic ribbon 1" inside the edge all the way around, making sure the length of the elastic was a little bit less than the circumference of the doll's head. Sewed the ends together by hand.)

Still working on her wings.

Ok, so I've been on a productive custom-making kick lately. Here's another project I've procrastinated on but finally finished just in time for the holidays: Minty!

Once again, her faceup is mostly acrylics (it's below freezing outside and I'm lazy ok!!). Her shirt is from a Snapstar, her skirt is thrifted (Bratz I think?), her scarf I've had for years, and her earrings and socks were handmade by me!

Embrace the cold with North 🌨️

This girl was a team effort with my girlfriend! She designed the face with me and decided the colour scheme, and I brought her to life! North seems to intercept my gfs interest in horror/undead and my interest in glittery pastel things! I really love working on the 17inch monster high, the big faces make the lines look so crisp!

I'm so happy to finally share my Candyland girls, Bonbon and Dolce! Bonbon (left) is now happily at her new home in the US with @sodollcreations (ig), but I had so much fun creating her that I had to make myself her sister 😂 Now we have matching sisters across the globe!

This swap was an absolute joy, the theme was so enticing I couldn't pass it up 🙌
