HELP MOHAMMED FROM GAZA

"Before the latest war, we lived a simple and peaceful life. Just two months before everything began, we had barely finished building our new home. But in an instant, everything changed. Our house was bombed while we were inside, leaving it in ruins. My mother and several family members were killed in the attack."

That message is from Mohammed ( @mohbatniji ) and you can read his story HERE.

Mohammed lost his mother, and his father was arrested. Now him and his little brother remain living in a tent in the south of Gaza. He recalls leaving at 2am in the freezing weather, looking for food and witnessing unimaginable horrors. He also lost his laptop, being his only source of income, leaving him helpless as the prices skyrocket in Gaza. He needs money for basic necessities to restore his dignity, and money ro evacuate him and his brother ( 10k ) to a safer Egypt.

It is difficult to imagine what he is going through, but please try and imagine yourself in his situation. Read his story as if he were a person close to you. Read his story as a fellow human being, reaching out for help during a dark time. Please don't ignore him, most of us have the privilege of donating from saftey, he dosent get the privilege of saftey or security. Nowhere in Gaza is safe.

the last year and a half have proven to be very difficult for those in gaza. people have lost their lives, families have been torn apart, homes have been burnt to the ground, and lives of hundreds of thousands have been disrupted and endangered.

im a student and i find it terrifying to imagine what others my age are doing in gaza. how does one study under the sounds of bombing knowing that their university is now rubble?

it's inspiring to see students try their best to study in these conditions. it's also upsetting that they're being forced to study like this.
