It's genuinely infuriating how much of a double standard some people have in regards to Palestine. Like, some people and organizations who were SUPER VOCAL about their support of Ukraine are suddenly silent when it comes to supporting Palestine, and are perfectly fine with keeping their mouth shut about a literal genocide.

So. On the Bushnell situation.
I'm bigender. I am both a gay man, and transwoman, and use he/him and she/her.
So I can testify it is obviously very possible for someone to be both a transwoman and also not be interested in getting rid of her masculinity.
I am going to suggest to other trans people to not give her exact labels for now. Words like "bigender" "transwoman" "nonbinary," until we find evidence of exact words he used to describe herself, I suggest we not use words based on suspicions. For now, I think the most respectful way is to just use her pronouns. She went by he/him and she/her online, at least as far as I have found. So let's respect that.
With that said.
It is once again evident as fuck that transwomen cannot do anything without social violence. I literally cannot explain how much every single person on Earth was doing to exact same thing that y'all were calling "transvestigating." Every time there is a shooting, people rummage through their life to find out "did they have mental illness, were the republican or democrat, yada yada yada." Every person on the planet has played into at some point "Is this celebrity dating x celebrity?" There are hundreds and hundreds of results when you google "What ethnicity is Booboo Stewart? What ethnicity is Johnny Depp? What ethnicity is Sasha Banks?" Every single politician has had people curious about sex scandals.
Looking into someone's pronouns online isn't even close to as intrusive, and certainly not as disrespectful as all of humanities' demand to know everything about every single name on the front pages.
To even use the word "transvestigating" makes it sound sinister, when again, every one of you, and I do mean that actually literally, every one of you has at some point been curious about a private detail of a public figure's personal life.
There can be no more plausible deniability.

It's with a heavy but hopeful heart that I watch Palestinian families fundraise on here, slowly accumulating the precious little money to go around that they need to survive. However, not everyone is so lucky. A lot of Palestinians that have not had that kind of luck, that did not get early verification, that did not get massive platforms behind them from large bloggers, have approached me in my inbox, asking me kindly to do what I can for them.
It kills me that I have so little to give myself, but I've seen this platform collectively raise enough to change someone's life. I've made a list of Palestinian fundraisers that are extremely low on funds, in the hope that drawing attention to people who have not been lucky at all can help turn that luck around.
I know most of us can't possibly give enough to get all of these families safe in one go. But please, reblog this list. Pick one or two fundraisers, give what you can, and then keep track of it. Slowly, collectively, we can make a difference in these people's lives.
Share and donate as much as you can.

this year while we all celebrate pride month and celebrate ourselves as well as those who came before us and paved the way for us to do so, we must also think of those in gaza, queer or not, who live every day under a brutal occupation and don’t have that same privilege. happy pride, and may we see a free palestine in this lifetime.

reminder that donating just a few $ to gofundme campaigns actually helps, you don't have to donate huge amounts if you don't have the funds, every little bit is useful. give $10, $5, even $1. it all adds up. don't scroll past because you think you can't help. help in your own capacity. donate a dollar. share and speak up.

I hope western leftists know that standing for a free Palestine is not the end of decolonization. I've seen far too many white leftists who proudly stand for freeing Palestine which is good but then get nervous and apprehensive at the idea of decolonizing the very land they are on. Norway will recognize Palestine but actively tear down Sámi liberation. Liberation for one people means it for us all. If you support Palestinian liberation but deny it for the Indigenous people of the land you're on then you didn't stand for Palestinians or any of us to begin with.
