The Noel lights suspended over rue Victor Hugo. As seen around 08h30 this morning. It’s a gaudy visual cacophony. Thank goddess Noel is so poorly done you can write it off.

this town skates on thin ice. Haves and have nothing. We recently met 2 women with animals who can barely afford the rent on their apartment. Antoni and I will take them shopping for food. They are wonderful people….just cursed with age and poverty. We will take them to restaurant au cœur and elsewhere. One of the ladies is a gorgeous artistic soul. Antoni hired her to paint a mural in his boutique.

RAFA-Bean. RAFA is the diminutive of Antoni’s mother’s name Rafaela. Bean was added on as an exclamation mark to grab her attention. Bean is derived from my favorite British comic Rowen Atkins’s character Mr. Bean. We usually just use RAFA. RAFA-Bean is for immediate attention.

we officially have the largest cherry tree in ste-foy-la-grande. Our neighbor imparts all things to us as she used to work for the village.

every spring our cherry tree explodes with blossoms which then delivers plump fruit. It’s a perfect way to greet the spring weather.
