Frida Flow...
I don’t have many favorite artists. I think that’s because I believe each artist should be their own favorite. YOU gotta be your biggest fan. To me it’s more about the story of an artist and how I connect to it. I’ve always connected to Frida Kahlo's life story and thus her art; because the two are linked. She is the epitome of art imitating life and life imitating art! The way she pushed through struggle, adversity, deep physical and emotional pain and kept created magic endlessly inspires me. Thank you Frida!

"SELF-PORTRAIT WITH CROPPED HAIR"
FRIDA KAHLO // 1940
[oil on canvas | 15 3/4 x 11"]
"Personal isolation—its pain and its strength—is a recurring force across the sixty self-portraits Kahlo painted in her career and for which she became celebrated. 'I paint self-portraits because I am so often alone,' Kahlo once explained, 'because I am the person I know best.'"
