i have the urge to write a Derry Girls aftg AU. Like, Andrew Neil and Kevin are the girls and Aaron is James. I just think it’d be really funny for Aaron to be the wee English fella even though Neil is technically the wee English fella and Aaron and Andrew are both American. I dunno?? I’ve been rewatching the show and I absolutely love it so I might just take the premise of it and add it to aftg? But also I kinda think it’d be funny if Kevin had a Derry accent??? Cause I think that’s funny?? Like imagine???

I like to imagine Xie Lian checking in on heaven every once in a while for business or something and now that heaven barely has a central government and people are more relaxed without any one scary force up their asses all the time he sometimes comes back to some pretty weird stuff. After all, every god is a nosy drama queen and everything has the potential for a competition. Imagine if one day some smaller martial gods got bored and started an arm wrestling contest and whoever won started bragging about it which caused some other martial gods to want a piece of the action. Because every martial god is overly competitive by nature, this eventually gets weirdly out of hand and now the top martial gods are having the most legendary arm wrestling tournament in history. Xie Lian walks in in the middle of it, bewildered; “Oh, no thank you, I couldn’t possibly, I should be quick, San lang is waiting for me—“ he answers but a simple “come on, your highness!” and a recap of the latest events is all it takes to convince a top martial god to give it a shot.

Across the room, Feng Xin just obliterated another round and is on a crazy hot streak. His spirits are high and he’s ready for his next victim as he looks across the table, and the opponent in his view is none other than Xie Lian.

A cold sweat runs down his back.

Of course it ends with Xie Lian vs Pei Ming, the grandest showdown they’ve seen in a great while, and Xie Lian going home that night to that San Lang of his with another weird heavenly trophy to put in the display case they had to make for all these weird prizes he keeps bringing home from work. Who knew gods really are more idle than ghost kings!

The scale of MXTX characters hand writing from Worst to Best

Hua Cheng: literally intelligible, those basically aren't even words any.

Wei wuxian: the equivalent of a sleep deprived adhd stem student notes right before an exam. Technically legible but only to him, people who know him really well.

Luo Binghe: it's good. Not outstanding but Nicely legible, pretty when it needs to be.

Shen Qingqiu: technically there's nothing wrong with his hand writing, but His writing is too modern for the Xianxia settings he's living in and although it's not too much of a problem it's definitely enough to make peoples eyebrow raise.

Xie Lian: stunningly beautiful calligraphy. Truly just art in written form.

Lan wangji: the most beautiful and technically perfect hand writing you have everything seen. Calligraphy teachers weap with joy when they see his writing.

I’m currently writing a time-travel (fix-it sorta I guess??) fic where Connor goes back in time two years before The Lightning Thief. And, I want him to kinda try and get Luke to not join Kronos (but ultimately fail) because I feel like even after Luke betrayed camp he still thought of Luke as his brother. Not sure if I want anyone else to get time-traveled back in time with him. I think it’d be real funny if Drew and Malcolm came too, like, the three of them would be so confused as to what’s going on and both Drew and Connor think they can stop their sibling’s from joining Kronos. I don’t know if I want to write it like a crack fic or make it an actually serious multi-chapter (maybe even multi-series) fic where the three go through the two years before Percy arrives at camp and try their best to stop Silena and Luke from becoming traitors all the way until The Last Olympian where — if I don’t lose motivation — they’re either able to turn the war around and there are less casualties or the three die in the process. Like the Fates decide to let the others live but compensate by taking the lives of the Time Travellers. I don’t know okay?? I am still planning the fic out and I need opinions on wtf I should do.
