My wife's dentist has informed us that it will take at least another 8-16 months before they can start considering a solution to replace the teeth she's already lost plus the ones they're going to extract and the dental surgery needed for the ones they can't pull. We've been struggling a lot with making ends meet in the last 3 months after having to repeatedly restructure our meal planning around what little my wife can eat, pain management after a dry socket complication in the last extractions, and our medications.

Our already strained budget is being stretched so thin that we constantly have to skip meals despite already only having dinner most days, leaving us almost no energy to do household tasks, practice self-care, or prevent our already deteriorating mental health from worsening. Unfortunately, we're still a long way away from the finish line for her, and my own deteriorating physical health is making it harder for me to support her while also trying to get a diagnosis and treatment for my issues.

Thank you so much to everyone who donated to the other post thus far. We really appreciate the help we've gotten, and it's gone a long way to help with the stress of our current situation. We really hate having to do this and having to rely so much on the kindness of others, but we really don't have any other options left

#arcane #arcaneedit #gifmaking #reminder that if ur not a fan of the coloring and sharpening then i dont need to hear ur opinion so fuck off and make your own gifs :)#sooo yeah!!! just sharing this very old coloring comparison i use from time to time to make sure i follow a certain peg for my gifs #but i dont really follow it to the T of course #and now i will use the tags to rant/comment about my coloring process lmao #ok so.... arcane s2 is SOOOOO much brighter than s1 i am so so so thankful we have such bright scenes instead of all the dark ones in s1 #because it makes my life so much easier #that being said my coloring isnt really perfect i still cant handle more complex tones like the mel gif......#i used to have a more stylized coloring wayyy back in s1 (esp when u look at my old gifs) but i kinda realized i had to change it #so i scrapped all my old psds and now coloredit EVERYTHING MANUALLY #hence why sometimes i gif the same scene but theyre colored different since i never use a preset PSD now #however it became way more tedious to make gifs... so yeah.... lmao #but in the end i like it more!!! i like that my new coloring just basically matches the show more but is just brighter and more saturated #unless ofc i dont like the tones of the original show i.e. the vi gif you see there where its super green gray???? idk i dont like it so #i recolored the entire thing #anyways thats really it coloring will always be something i continue to try to improve on but recently ive just been v busy so i just #speed color and edit everything and dont rlly take all adjustments into account so no more complex tones and #i just stick to basic things #oh right sharpening! so for sharpening i use a very basic setting: just 500 px and 0.4 radius which is what i use for almost everything #i also dont add noise bc the landscape photographer in me does NOT like it LMFAOOOOOOOOOO #but yeah thats really it for sharpening oh i also use 4k sources as much as possible bc it gives the best quality and if #i cant find any source i just upscale everything by myself then crop stuff again back to 540 px and imo it really just does look better #personal tag

May I ask what were the best transformers media you ever saw/read?

Well Transformers Prime, Transformers 1986 and IDW comics are having the first place that’s for sure

And then the second place is kind of shared by Fall of Cybertron, Exodus, Prime wars trilogy, Robots in disguise(2001) and Transformers One.

The third place goes to G1, Animated, Earthspark, Armada, War for Cybertron Netflix series, Aligned Robots in disguise, Bumblebee, Rise of the Beasts and Cyberverse because I only liked some little parts of them.

And then I also saw some of the Bay movies, Victory and Headmasters and didn’t like them at all.

Separate first place for J-Decker. It is not exactly Transformers but it is a show about giant robots and I loved it

#call me weird for placing cheap ugly shows above Earthspark and Animated #but the thing is #I have when the whole narrative revolves around human kids #*hate #I’m allergic to them #Prime wars trilogy had one of the worst face rigs I ever saw #but it also had Overlord teaming up with evil Rodimus and Megatron being funniest mf alive #Armada is straight up infuriating imma be honest #Armada is like #Au where all the weapons work only once and then just create some glitter #I actually have SO many thoughts on Armada. like. as a writer #the way they keep reusing the same plot 3000 times is borderline impressive #OH War for Cybertron from Netflix was such an experience!#It was so painfully boring and stupid sometimes #but the other times. ooooouuufff. The scene where some nameless decepticon gives Megatron a little tour to show him how him and his friends #-work so hard for the cause??? THAT SHIT HIT HARD #….also I pretty much only like the Quintesson apocalypse arc from the entire Cyberverse #Transformers Victory is fun until you actually hear them speaking #the concept of Star Saber adopting a human child and raising him and then #going to human school as his legal guardian being like ‘yeah sure I can sign all your tiny ass documents’#it’s hilarious but unfortunately all the writers of that anime were snorting cocaine because WHY all the characters talk like that #Animated was fun for me only near the end. Idk what to say. I’m not a fan of any drama centered around humans #things got interesting when Cybertronian government got involved #Earthspark is WHOLE giant topic ahahah. I liked Twitch. sometimes. I also liked Grimlock while he had voice lines. Prowl was fun.#everything else needs and essay haha I don’t wanna annoy anyone #OH I also watching Tf Cybertron right now and this shit is UGLY. they have NO RIGS. I LOVED The Vampire Diaries.

My teen years were spent living through the PEAK of 2000’s YA fantasy romance.

You have no. idea. how SEATED I am for My Golden Blood 👏🏼 it’s cheesy, it’s ridiculous, the cgi effects are SO silly, the SOUNDTRACK IS INCREDIBLE 😂 the romance began 12 seconds into the fist episode AS IT SHOULD!! Tong IS Bella Swan, he IS Elena Gilbert and his hunky hero of a troubled broody vampire is here to protect him and be sexy about it and WE. LOVE. THAT. FOR. HIM.

This show is everything, it’s got insta romance it’s got “you’re not like other girls” but GAY and I’m living for it.

10/10 no notes, in these trying times this is the show we deserve. It’s a straight up gift actually.
