lmao I just finished defending an artist who got dragged into negativity unnecessarily simply because he drew Jason as a volleyball captain instead of Percy in an AU.

The comment was basically whining that Jason shouldn't have been better at volleyball than Percy, and that Percy should've been drawn as captain. Can y'all obsessive Percy fans/Jason antis stop pushing your opinion onto other people for once and make them uncomfortable? Like womp womp, Jason can be better at stuff than Percy, stop projecting your hatred onto him, Percy doesn't need to be good at everything, well, Unless you want him to be an invincible, one dimensional, all mighty Gary Stu who is the only one who can shine. It's giving a cartoon hero with all the plot armour and powers. Y'all r ruining canon Percy's depth with this aswell by giving him no minor flaw. But That's on you.

The new Emperor ending is everything I ever wanted. I just wanted an ending where a non-illithid Tav would be its companion, without being enthralled.

It's weird that Tav is still enthralled on the Netherbrain, and kind of sad that most of it is a just copy of the new illithid Tav endings, but... Tav gets to keep their free will.

I always thought (headcanoned, really) that the Emperor wouldn't settle for just enthralling someone for companionship; that was too easy. It was only ever reserved for when someone didn't cooperate, when someone betrayed it once again. It's just... too easy to do, and it is too ambitious of a creature to settle for something like that, in my eyes.

Just... glad to have a headcanon validated, even if it's in an evil ending. I'm starving and I'll settle for the scraps, Larian.

Miguel isn't a villain. At most he's an antagonist, at the least he's a foil.

Yes he did go feral, batshit, insane even in that chase down with miles. Mfer was on all fours, screaming this kid's name, chasing him down the second he took off. Is that villainy? wicked, sure. criminal? no. That is a man hellbent on an ideal. A spiderman who had lost everything, can not face the fact that it was by his own hand, so he tries to placate it by saying that messing with canon fucks up the whole. A spiderman who fucked up, big time, and was AT FIRST trying to warn a younger spiderman to not make the same mistakes. To see his error and try to let it go.

That chase? Is the thread snapping. That choke slam, The panic in trying to get spiderbyte to stop the machine, Him clawing at the barrier? That is pent up stages of grief conforming into a ball of rage fuled by the determination to never have another world destroyed again, especially any world that could have his daughter.

No. I don't like Miguel's actions. Before the chase? I found him to be laughable, enjoyable in the sense that there is a spiderman that's basically fucking batman. His moments with Lyla, not having spidersense, his response to Hobie just in his presence? Are why I love his character, infact I appreciate that he tries to explain to Miles instead of just trapping him and putting him away with the other anomalies.

I need y'all to recognize he's definitely not the "good guy" but he's not the "bad guy" either, in the same way that gwen and peter are neither.

Miguel O'Hara, is the foil to Miles Morales.
