god its so good. its soooo good and fun. the concept is perfectly well-executed and the aesthetics are fuckingperfect. i ADORE the way a lot of the set pieces seem to be directly referenced from barbie playsets (im a playset guy so i can recognize playsets), it brings me so much fucking joy to see this. i can tell that even if the outfits arent Direct Copies from barbie dolls, theyre based on barbie design philosphies (mostly 80s-90s barbie, though i would not be surprised if there was some 2000s barbie in the movie itself because 2000s barbie was fucking iconic). also the posters for the characters are directly based off of real barbie dolls (i mentioned midge with baby in the other ask i answered abt this and like. so fucking true actually). i also find it really interesting that they chose to go with all of them being called barbie and ken - even though some loose characters have their own names (midge, allen, etc) theyre marketed and branded as barbie and ken dolls. if barbie land in the movie is what i think it is (a child's playland) then of course theyre names are all going to be the same - the kids dont fucking Know that they have other names. its so smart and its such a small thing but i fucking love itttttt

Here's my AH-MAH-ZING haul from @tedandkip ! I freaking love everything... and one might be able to tell that I KINDA like the f-word 😅 I can't wait to get stuff framed and start using the postcards to send to my friends. I know my son is going to love seeing me wear the cat necklace. He's been into Russian nesting dolls, it's really cute. And I specifically bought blue because "boy mom" hahaha How fun are the prints on the washi tape. I'm not sure where I'm going to use them but they're so fun! Oh, and that "Fucking Perfect" button isn't a button after all, it's a MIRROR!!! I know exactly who I'm gifting this to. And can't wait for Father's Day to give the "From Your Favorite Child" card to my daddio. He used to always tease me that I was his favorite of his 16 kids... I'm an only child! VIAJE

En tres horas me voy de viaje y hasta hace cinco minutos estaba emocionada, pues empece a hacer maletas y no me podía decidir que blusa combinar con un short de jean, así que me medí el short, pues lo que me preocupaba hasta el momento era el como lucia mi trasero, lo normal. Sin embargo, de un momento a otro cambie de observar mi trasero a observar mis piernas frente al espejo y toda la alegría que tenia en mi, se espumó.

Mis pensamientos sobre paisajes y la idea de conocer un lugar al que nunca había ido cambiaron rotundamente a las posibles opiniones y comentarios que van a hacer mis tías, primas y hermanas al observar mis piernas. Pensé: “Que vergüenza mi cuerpo” “¿cómo una niña de 18 años puede tener tantas estrías y celulitis es sus piernas” y permancí frente al espejo observandome con asco, hasta que me di cuenta de lo que estaba sucediendo. ¿Cómo es posible que los demás puedan manipular mis emociones? ¿Tengo que caer en un desorden alimenticio, anorexia, bulimia o algo mas grave para concientizar a los demás del daño que están produciendo? (lo que sinceramente sigo considerando)

Necesito ayuda, por favor! ¿Cómo combatir esta estupidez?
