Hello, my name is Areej Kassab. I’m a 27-year-old English teacher and writer from Gaza, and I’m reaching out to you with a heavy heart and a desperate plea for support. My family and I are enduring unimaginable hardships as relentless bombings devastate our home and our dreams.

We are a family of 15—10 adults and 5 children. Every day is a battle for survival. Food is scarce, humanitarian aid is not reaching us, and my little nieces and nephews go to bed hungry. Among them is my sister, who is deaf, and another sister who has a newborn baby. They, too, are suffering in this crisis, and I’m doing everything I can to protect and provide for them.

The war has robbed us of everything: safety, peace, and even the hope of a future here. My family’s needs are basic yet critical—food, clean water, diapers for the babies, gas for cooking, and other essentials to make it through each day.

I come to you with an appeal that is heavy on my heart and that I had never imagined.

I look at you from under the war and the constant bombing of us in all its forms that the human or animal soul cannot comprehend

I am Jehad Kassab , a lawyer and legal consultant from Gaza City - Palestine. I hold a bachelor’s degree in law and many legal experiences. I have been working in the legal profession for a long time and I had a good work , which have become meaningless before this world, to stop the machine of war and destruction that has befallen us ،I had a private law office after the Israeli planes completely destroyed it and everything in it, after I built it with all its beauty after many years of toil, and it is my only source of livelihood.

I have a beautiful family that loves life as you love it and lives it in all its details. My family consists of (my wife, a nurse, and my son Khaled, a year and a half old, who has not seen life in all its details and does not know what it is yet, and my second daughter is now 11 months her age as the age of this bad war.

Our house was completely destroyed at the beginning of the war on Gaza with everything, and we did not even take anything out of it, not even the clothes, in the hope that we would return to it before it was bombed by Israeli warplanes

We were briefly displaced to southern Gaza and stayed in tents until this moment. We lived and are still living the harshest types of genocide in the full sense of the word: displacement, destruction, coming out from under bombardment, pollution, epidemics, and the difficulty of sleeping due to the sound of planes and the bombing that did not leave for a single second. Has the world become desolate or are we not fit to improve? For life or what? We do not know Khaled who started pronouncing the word bombing, and I am afraid.

I am not begging you or listing all the details, because an entire newspaper will not be enough. Television screens and social networking sites are enough to tell you about us, and no matter how much you try to say, what we feel will not reach you because we do not wish anyone to live as we live.

We are victims of conflicts and conflicts. We love life as long as we can. We do not like any form of war. We want a future like the rest of humanity for ourselves and our children.

In this moment of despair, I reach out to you, not just as a stranger, but as a human being, connected by our common humanity and the belief that compassion knows no bounds. Your support, no matter how small, can make an immeasurable difference in the lives of those struggling to find hope amidst the rubble.

We desperately need your support to rebuild my family's life that was destroyed by the war on Gaza and there is literally nothing left ، provide us with a glimmer of hope for a better life after we were fine before October 7th last year. I’m staying at my brothers house for now. I have to go to court On April 2nd. My Mom will most likely ask the court to kick me out of her house for good. We are a large family consisting of 11 siblings, along with our parents Ahmed and Saada. We lived in Khan Younis, southern Gaza, and had a decent and happy life. Each of us has our own family living in Rafah, Khan Younis, and Gaza. Our lives were stable until the war came at the end of 2023, turning everything upside down

On 13/02/2024, we lost our dear father due to shelling, and my mother could not bear the shock, passing away a few weeks later on 02/03/2024. The tragedy did not stop there; we also lost my sister Huda’s husband, Abdulrahim, due to random shelling. In total, we have lost nearly 50 family members and relatives

Our homes were destroyed completely or partially, and our lives turned into homelessness. We live in tents and overcrowded shelters that are unfit for human life. My family members moved between Khan Younis and Rafah seeking safety, suffering from food shortages, disease outbreaks, and lack of medical care. Children’s lives became at risk, losing their right to education and suffering from lack of care and affection

My name is ihab, I am from Gaza, I am a 38-year-old father of four children , My story began on the 7th of October 2023. After this date I lost everything (my home, my work , my car), My family, and I went of hell as shelling and bombing haven't stopped even for one day. But this series of suffering couldn’t stop.

1- My children as the UN schools of my children were demolished, and there is no way for them to study again in Gaza. As important point my children were genius students and their dreams faded away.

2- I lost my own company . that I built step by step , IT company and workplaces .MY company had free workshops for serve society to decrease unemployment through freelancing .

3- I lost my warm and beautiful house. which bombed and destroyed

We got out miraculously to EGYPT, But we are suffering in EGYPT , and life couldn’t continue smoothly with us because we haven’t Egyptian residency . according to Egyptian granting laws , there for :

1- MY children can’t go to schools and complete their education . I can’t stand their question about when they can go to school as others , two years without education.

2- I can’t have chance to work in Egypt and have a job , My family is suffering from decreasing of basic needs of life (home, food, supplies, and medical necessities)

To stop this suffering we must leave EGYPT to any country that give Palestinians the residence as Turkey, Malaysia, Oman …atc through the residency I can work and my children continue their education .

- Cover the costs of leave egypt for all family members.

- Secure temporary housing and provide basic necessities such as food, water, and medical supplies once wev are leave.

- Assist with initial resettlement expenses until we can find permanent solutions.

It's hard to admit this stuff publicly, but while I've been able to scrape by for 6+ months on my own, my situation keeps worsening. I'm really sorry to ask for help, I've always been a private person who wanted to avoid asking online, but I've finally hit a point where I don't have many options. While I'm still in contact with family, I don't have monetary support from them & am hoping for a miracle to get through this.

It's hard to be so up front with what my situation has been like, but up until about a month ago I was struggling with enough money to afford food for at least one meal a day. I skipped multiple days every week to ensure that I didn't run out of food, and have regularly emptied my fridge/pantry to the limits before I allowed myself to spend meager amounts on enough to sustain me. Things are still shaky in that department for me, but manageable. However spending so much out of pocket on food has led to me struggling to afford basic necessities. Running out of things like trash bags, toothpaste, shampoo, etc. is a nightmare, and leads to expenses that I just can't deal with. URGENT AS OF 01/06/2025

Yall know the drill. I have to pay the rest of rent this weekend at $350.

I had food poisoning last week so I'm only getting about 40 hours of pay for the last two weeks on January 10th.

I have $100 for insurance and $42 coming out of the paycheck before I get it. I currently am not in the negtives for once which thank God but I have 4 days before i get paid. I also have $150 is being taken out the day I get paid from the IRS.

URGENT: LOSING HOUSING

i'm losing access to my housing on the 29th of may, and i'm trying to gather funds to make it over to my friend in portland that has a place for me to stay.

i've got my plane ticket for the 5th of june, i need to secure funds for the storage container payment for the month by the 29th, and i need to have enough to take an uber from the airport to my friend's as soon as possible.

the storage container is 150 dollars, and the uber can range from 40-60 dollars. that needs to be secured as soon as possible.
