We are proud to have debuted a new swimwear collaboration with Natasha Tonić at Paraiso Miami Swim Week 2023. Watch the full runway show live from the Paraiso fashion tent, which ran on Sunday, June 11, 2023.

Since their first collection in 2017, Natasha Tonić has led the swimwear industry towards an organic future by utilizing hemp fabrics because microplastics from nylon and other petroleum-based synthetic fabrics are an increasing concern to ocean health.

With the 'Coral City' collection, NT takes the commitment to sustainability one step further by planting one coral for every swimsuit purchased. Pieces in the collection feature coral designs inspired by Miami-based art / science pioneers Coral Morphologic and their Coral City Camera.

Corals will be planted to the reefs of Bali by Indonesian non-profit Ocean Gardener, who have developed a restoration technique that uses organic ropes and wooden stakes to restore damaged reefs without the use of plastics.

Scandinavian Swimwear by North, Demadly, Gestuz, Hanne Bloch & Ganni - with The Perfect V - at Swim Miami Week

Swim Fashion Week Miami debuted the launch of Scandinavian beauty brand,The Perfect V, teaming up with five leading designer swimwear brands from Scandinavia: Demadly, North, Gestuz, Hanne Bloch and Ganni. On the runway set over the pool at The Nautilus Hotel on Miami Beach, each model smiled, danced and excited the crowd on the catwalk. The runway show, presented by The Perfect V partnered with leading production company FUNKSHION for its North American launch at Swim Fashion Week Miami. Designer, Madeleine Forssell of Demadly, presented her colorful, Nordic inspired collection featuring braided details on both her one and two-piece swimsuits, a suede-appearing fringe halter removal top that converts to a bandeau style, and a low back, chic cloud white one piece with V cut. All Demadly fabrics are the best quality and made in Italy’s most sought-out ateliers. Also present was Mary Loise Brangstrop of lifestyle and swimwear brand, NORTH. The brand known for it’s all-black collection of ready-to-wear and swimsuits brought a well-noticed edge to Swim Week in Miami. Creating a confidence and #badgirl spirit, but sophisticated in designs that ranged from two-piece triangle bikinis and one piece swimwear perfect for yoga, the pool and vitamin sea. All five Scandinavian brands were curated and styled by NY based, Danish, Fashion Editor, Simon Rasmussen of Office Magazine. A DJ Set was spun by star of Orange Is The New Black, Taryn Manning and well respected DJ,Mia Høldgaard. The Perfect V also hosted a press brunch earlier in the day at The Nautilus Hotel with CEO Founder, Avonda Urbenand designers Madeleine and Mary Loise. Guests included Chrissy Rutherford of Harpers Bazaar, Lauren Valenti of VOGUE.com, Hallie Gould of Byrdie.com, Sarah Zendejas of W Magazine, Adrienne Faurote of Marie Claire, Sarah Brody from Teen VOGUE, Samantha Roman from Cosmopolitan, Jenna Igneri from NYLON,Ashley Uzer from Galore.

Natasha’s designs are based on natural forms, colors of the coral reef, and photographic CM images, all dyed and printed on hemp and organic cotton in the USA. More looks and the full runway show 🔗 soooon!

Paraiso and Funkshion for the flawless production and presentation, the models who walked with a mission, the hair and makeup teams who actualized a real sci fi vibe, and Y.Kunz Jewelry’s beautiful reef-inspired jewelry.
