More dp x dc and/or just dp stuff i would like to see more of.

Danny gets more animalistic and ghostly in ghost form over time:

I've always loved the joke "from the day we are born we are slowly dying" and since this guy is half dead, he slowly looks more like a ghost when in his ghost form.

As for the animalistic thing. I dont mean legit growling or purring. I mean him having painted ears that move around and pin back when mad. Maybe a tail (tails are fun for expressing emotions). Pupils that dilate and slit. Stuff like that. He just gets more funky with time.

Constantine and Danny actually get along:

They're both tired, magical, and have seen some shit. If they are both adults when meeting they can be drinking buddies or something idk.

If Constantine met Danny as a teen tho i imagine he wouldn't look down on Danny or get too annoyed with him. He would treat him as an equal. He recognises and magic users are different, and Danny has been dealing with the magical bullshit all alone. This kid deserves some respect damn it! Infact it would be funny if the JL interacted with them at the same time and realized they were actually both really similer. Similer facial expressions and exhausted attitudes.

Danny is just stupidly calm in the face of horrific things:

But yeah. Mans is used to it.

Danny is more conflicted about where he belongs:

Too alive to be dead, too dead to be alive. Poor guy is practicly the town punching bag and ghosts always target him for what he is. He feels like he never belongs. It should be expressed more often. Like maybe he feels free and happy as Phantom, but he also knows that as Danny he's who his family and friends love and care about. Make him conflicted.

In a dp x dc context. I feel like at first you think he would fit in amoungst the heros. But he's too young to interract with the adult heros, but too experienced and powerful to interact with the younger heros. He struggles to fit in and he has to work through that. That also circles back to the Constantine point. I dont know much about the magic users in dc, but i can image theres a very large veriety of them all ranging in species and age. So maybe he belongs most with them, cuz to them he's just another acultist.

DP x DC prompt.

I'm getting in on this shit *cracks knuckles* I have a few different prompts I may post. Some may be all out story ideas.

This one is a mash-up of multiple prompts and fanfics I have read.

So basicly, the accident left Danny with a ton of issues, both mentally and physically. He stutters sometimes, has a few mobility issues, and sometimes he just aches so bad he can't get out of bed. That mixed with the slow heartbeat, shallow breathing, and pale skin of a halfa, he almost seems like one hella sick kid.

His secret gets revealed and instead of his parents hurting him they just tell him to leave and never come back (i love a good vivisection fic, but i personally like to imagine they can't bring themselves to do it). Danny kinda becomes homeless and lives in his car for a bit. He eventually (somehow) learns he is adopted and goes to find his birth parents.

His dad is... you guessed it! Bruce Wayne! He goes to confront him with multiple forms of evidence and Bruce just SHUTS DOWN. He rejects Danny (probably out of fear and regret for not being there for him, again this is based on multiple prompts). Danny, degected, goes back to live in his car. Unbeknownst to him though, the bat kids had been listening in and decided to make Danny part of their family one way or another. So they try everything to get him to stay in Gotham.

Eventually they start to notice the 'medical' issues, they learn of the accident, and see that his grades and attendence in school dropped. Naturally, as any bat clan member does, they connect the dots and think "holy shit, this kid is dying and he just wanted to know his birth family"

Now everyone is pissed at Bruce for rejecting him, Bruce feels worse and and hides away MORE, and Danny is wondering why his step siblings are suddenly far sweeter, but also more protective and worried about him.

Dp x Dc or just Dp things I (personally) want to see more of.

Just some stuff I've seen and really liked but never see enough of.

Danny is very casually a genius and/or skilled (engineering, gymnastics, really any skill you pick):

There isn't enough of it tbh. I dont think people realise just how smart and skilled he is. Being a ghost probably made him very flexible and gave him extra abilities the average human may not have. Also he comes from a family of scientists, yeah maybe up against them he doesn't seem smart, but being "smart" comes in different forms. More often than not the ability to be smart comes from your ability to pick up on things, retain information, understand information, and use that information accordingly. Danny does that, especially with his villains. He even finds outside the box ways to defeat his villains. Like tricking Freakshow into becoming a ghost.

I just think its under utilized. A lot of Teen heros are geniuses but no one ecknowledges it. Hell, you can make it that Danny doesn't even realise just how smart he is. He doubts it and often thinks he's one of the dumber people in the room. But when sleep deprived and running on a cup of coffee he can solve a problem he hasn't even seen before the konk out for an hour.

Danny has BEEF with the JL or isn't outright a fan:

In a lot of fics the JL (especially Batman) are huge hypocrites. Like they'll barge into Amity trying to solve problems that don't even effect them, screw things up more, then offer Danny more training. Hello????? You guys being there caused the problem???? Then, in other things Batman preaches about territory and Danny will get threatened or treated with suspicion for even stepping foot NEAR Gothem, but then barges into his territory like its his buisness.

Let Danny call them out. Let him point out that everything has been fine untill they showed up. Let him get MAD. This is HIS territory, HIS haunt, HIS people. These guys have done nothing for him! Why should he accept their help when their help only makes things worse? In fics where they help him because he needed it and ended up in Gotham let him be suspicious and careful. He doesn't need to be vivasected or hurt to be warry of the crime fighting furries he just met.

Mans has the experience to know you can't trust anyone untill they prove you can.

Danny should be casually overpowered and spooky:

This isn't even he has to be experienced. He is so used to his powers he doesn't realise how scary it is. He will casually stop a punch from superman, laugh, quipe, then punch back.

He accidentally breaks stuff, walks through things, glows, its so normal for him. He apologizes and does it again because he forgot. He genuinly has no idea how strong he is, he just knows he needs to be soft on humans.

Danny and Phantom are very different personalities:

I'm not saying they're two different people. They have the same mind same person. But the way they act is so different. Danny is grumpy, quiet, whimpy. Danny is a loser, and everyone knows it. Phantom, on the other hand, is confident, he jokes, smiles, makes a game out of his struggles, he's strong. Phantom is just a good guy. Everyone (minus others) loves him!

This happens because Danny is more comfortable as Phantom or Vise Versa. Sertant trates carry over, they're nerds, they're smart, they enjoy a good pun, they're sassy. But because Danny is a loser everyone sees it as lame, but with Phantom its endearing.

None of this means you need to get rid of silly nerdy Danny. You can have that but all these other things ad depth to his character. Hes smart but not confident, he's kind but not naive, he's powerful but not violent, and he finds comfort in the fact no one knows him.

Idk. I'm not a big fanfic writer so i thought i would just share and see what others do with it.

DP X DC PROMPT (paralized!Danny au)

Alfred Pennyworth is Danny's great uncle. The only reason Alfred kept much contact with them was that they are the only family of his in America.

One day Alfred gets a message from Maddie and Jack explaining they are going out of country for the summer for some ghost chasing, and they want him to take care of their "poor penalized son, so no ghosts can get to him" (Maddie's words).

Alfred agrees because clearly his nephew needs a better environment than his ghost obsessed parents. Now Danny is living in Wayne Manor with everyone else for the summer. Very clearly upset because he had his own plans for the summer.

Over time it does get better, but the batfam notice very odd things about him. Such as Duke noticing the light is off around him, his need to make sure everything is secured, and as Jason had disturbingly learned after breaking in in the middle of the night for some food, his glowing green eyes.

Everything else is up to you.

Quick Dp x Dc thingy.

We need more unhinged Danny. I don't mean silly unhinged, i mean terrifying, reaper like, Danny.

Imagine Danny but based on Death from Puss in Boots.

I can imagine this is a Danny that was pushed too far, not far enough to be Dan, but far enough to abandon a lot of his loved ones (not Jazz and Dani), and become more of an anti hero.

He can eventually encounter anyone from the dc universe. I personally like the idea of the Bats realising there is something going on at the Lazerous and then when they get there Danny emerges from the pit. He's there to pick up a soul, and that soul is Ras. Just murks that man with little to no effort scaring everyone.

Another dp x dc prompt

Danny is an adult and is known as the a great scientist that specializes in space navigation. He can name the location of almost any planet or star.

In the ocult community he is known for speaking to ghosts and being quite the sociologist when it comes to the residents of the infinite realms.

Eventually the justice league and the JLD both need his help for compleatly different reasons and they both arrive to speak to him at the same time.

All other scenerios such as family situation, king or not, eldritch horrer (personally i imagine him as an eldritch space god), all of that is up to you.

The radioapple ship to me feels completely like a crack ship. Like these two guys who have zero romantic or sexual inturest in eachother but have the most married couple vibes ever. Like two dudes who decided to play gay chicken and now they have a child and a hotel together. Not because they're gay, but because both are too stubborn to back down. They got married only for the financial benefits, nothing else.

Platonicly married radioapple for the win.

The batfam shows up in Amity Park for something. Maybe a Manson or Masters gala, maybe some other event idk.

Its the whole song and dance of the batfam meeting Phantom, figuring out Danny is Phantom, them being protective cuz the Fentons aren't the best parents. BUT A TWIST!

Its not all happy family fun time. Things get increasingly chaotic. Especially since some Gotham villains caught wind that the bats were in this town. Danny just keeps getting stressed. That stress builds up more and more and more, till the first casualties happen. It doesn't have to be any major characters, just people died, and Danny lost it. He has never had a casualty before, he doesn't know how to hand it. So he yells at the bats.

Screaming and crying blaming them for everything. Ever since they got there everything had gone wrong. Danny had a thing going. Ghost shows up, fight ghost, witty banter, capture ghost, then escape incompetent ghost hunters. That was his thing, but this? This is actual, murderous, lunatics in his town. He's just a kid, and thease lunatics are here because the bats are here.

From there take it however you want, and if you don't know how here are a few ideas to start you off.

- temporary villain Danny. Like, genuinly violent tawords the bats, will kick anyone's ass if they get anywhere neer gis city. If a bat tries to appeal to his ITS ON SIGHT.

- Danny tries to face the gotham Rouges alone and needs to be saved. (My least favorite personally. Not a fan of the ones where he is just some weak little kid. Thats personal bias tho)

- eather of the upper two, but Danny has to be grudgingly agree to a temporary truce/aliance to save the world ot the cities. Maybe they even rekindle their relationship.

You can even have a time skip of any length. My one guidline. Danny should probably be permanently emotionally changed by the experience. Take that how you want, but no kid comes out of that ok.

Swift dp x dc cuz im sitting at after church lunch.

Jason met Danny while he was dead. He only ever knew Danny as Phantom, a newbie hero and ghost.

He was resurrected long befor the Perah fight and cuz of the odd circumstances behind the re-lifing of Jason todd Jason had also forgotten about the GZ and his best friend Phantom.

Years later hafter the family has kinda healed something happens that causes Jason to remember his time as a ghost (head trauma, cult stuff, dream, ect). So he goes to Amity park to find his friend but instead meets a short, nerdy space scientist named Dr. Nightingale (Danny) who he cant help but fall head over heals for.

Everything else is up to you.

You know, I HATE Adam in Hazbin hotel, but that ONE SCENE. That one scene with Lute just shattered my heart. He looked so sincere as Lute kneeled over him

Never have I ever gotten so emotional over a villain I despise. He and Lute seemed to have a genuine bond and it hurts.

I am a sucker for the headcanons that Adam only acts the way he does because he is just miserable. He's so depressed because both women he loved chose the same man over him (its entirely his fault tho), his son murdered his other son (i could go on a huge rant as to why, on some level, Cain was justified), and even as an angel not a lot of people really respect him. Hell, if you think about it he wasn't even the first man in heaven, theoretically that would have been Able.

He acts the way he does because he doesn't want people seeing just how much everything bothers him. Even tho its very clear he is bothered.

He is so close to Lute because she is loyal, she is also willing to pull him down to her level and stand up to him. He respects her, and she respects him. Its not like him and Lilith who were made from the same stubborn dirt, or him and Eve whereas Eve was made purely for him and to submit to him. Lute is someone on his level and willing to work with him, someone who genuinly cares.

Adam's character makes me sick. Both with hatred and pity.

Tbh, it would be really cool to see him show up as a sinner and have a redemption ark. He realises how terrible he was, he can work through his own self loathing, he can see Lute again, he can just be happy and be a person for once. Not "the first man" not "leader of the exorcists" just Adam.

Another inturesting idea to introduce. He sells his soul to Lucifer for protection. Maybe he's forced to work at the hotel.

Another fun little idea. Cain is still in hell, they get to reconnect, and Adam learns to be better through connecting with his son who was equally as miserable as him.

Just some stuff that came to mind. I love bible stuff.

Another dp x dc prompt cuz its the only thing i have going for myself.

I wanna seeeeeee more of Harley Quinn and Ivy.

I think they're the only people that can match the sheer chaos that goes on around Danny. They can probably also help him let loose more and stop stressing about being a hero.

So i raise you this.

Harley is chillin and hears a loud crash. She goes to check it out and theres just this black haired and blue eyes kid who feel into a dumpster. He's stairing at her, his eyes slightly glowing. They end up hitting it off and Harley comes home to Ivy with a whoule moody and super powered teenage and just "this is our son :)"

The rest is up to you.

But i do like the image of Ivy trying to teach him gardening but he's too cold so she looks into plants ment for colder climates.
