O Jour Fall 2015/16 heels - no longer available

By my best estimate, these heels derive from O Jour's FW2015/16 collection - which is quite the archival pull. Even the brand itself is a reach back in history for me as she turned to this brand for their kitten heels in particular most often during the RED era and once in 2014.

To that end, while animal print in general is contentious amongst people in fashion I do love an animal print moment and I find the mixed medium of the heel here with the fun tassels to be unique and interesting. I like them with the sassy little LBD we know she's wearing underneath her commencement robes. Leopard + black = classic combo, imo.

That said, I think given the majority of this event was photographed during the ceremony and worn with her purple grad robe that this was the opportunity for a classic, clean, sharp purple pump. Like a spicy Louboutin 'So Kate' in patent purple leather or a purple Casadei 'Blade'. Or if a block heel was needed for the dirt(?) track portion of her entrance walk I would even take a simple black Jimmy Choo block heel pump or even a gold pump to hit on the tassel of her hat.

Our second piece from the A.F. Vandevorst FW2015 collection: Combat boots, put on a stiletto heel and with diagonal hooks and lacing around. These are not just runway, but performance pieces. Spraypainted by Belgian artist Joris Van De Moortel while models walked through an empty butcherie while a rock band played. Meaning these boots are one of a kind. Just like Margiela's artisanal pieces. Except there are no garments from this collection on the market, and they're only available via us, as we've managed to get all FW2015 performance pieces from the A.F. archives that weren't sold to museums. Which makes them one of the most rare items we ever saw during our 7 years of existence.
