Just watching the Cubs game from yesterday and Joe Montegna is the guest who threw the first pitch and will sing the 7th inning stretch and they're interviewing him in the booth and I was thinking "I hope he mentions Barry/Bill Hader but I know he won't" AND THEN HE DID. Apparently Bill is a Cubs fan, too! His dad is from Chicago (something we have in common - how cool) so his dad got him into the Cubs. As a diehard Cubbie, this makes me so happy!!! Also, I love Joe Montegna. He seems like such an awesome guy. So glad he was in Barry even if only a small part.

God Hader does such an incredible job at making me uneasy. The long fade outs. The space in each shot. The highly manufactured family image. The surrealism of the house in the middle of no where but there are enough children to play games, the graphic videos he showed his son, and then the ambient music over the credits—it all makes me feel like I’m standing on needles, can’t wait for more.
