very random question and don’t feel obligated to reply but your style reminds me of dark souls/pathologic/those types of games in general. that might just be due to the historical context but i’m curious, are you a fan of games like that?
If I had to guess it could be just the vaguely historical setting, religious overtones and occasional darker themes? My knowledge on Dark Souls et al. is sparse at best, people have been telling me to give them a try but I haven't gotten around to it.
"2012 Splinter gives deep wisdom advice in vague, confusing metaphors while he could just say it as it is."
Yes, true, but he mostly does it on purpose and to confuse his boys. It's actually a crack to him, notice that every single time, he looks super amused while doing it. Also hilarious because he only does this with the boys, never with April or Casey or Karai or any other friend or mutant, only with the boys. He is trolling them! XD
As for whether Rise Splinter gives his sons wise ninja advice the same way or not, let's just rewatch the End Game episode, yeah?
Raph's imaginary astral plane Splinter only has to say, "You already know how to smash out of that cage, just smash out of that cage," but instead of doing so, there's a whole long journey through harsh landscapes and he keeps talking in riddles and confusing metaphors reminiscent of his 2012 counterpart and I find that just lovely.
The thing about the ffvii remakes is that you will enjoy them more if you’ve played the original. You will also hate them more if you’ve played the original. It is impressive.
This video would not post on youtube due to copyright issues, it was really saddening as I'm really proud of this playlist and worked very hard on it. I am aware that it's not ideal to post it on the medium I did but I really wished to share it. If this playlist is your kind of thing, reblogs would really be appreciated.
I started wondering about what Astarion might be feeling when he meets you and slowly starts falling for you. This is my attempt at explaining Astarion's feelings through music.

I have this odd fear that, should Too Human ever be re-made, they will change/adapt Midgard and Asgard to the current standards of what cyberpunk aesthetics are aka put giant neon eye strain billboards everywhere.
There was some sort of concept art that sort of veered into that direction at the time though it's a more pleasant kind of neon graphics:
This was an early idea of the Aesir airport, which got cut out from the game or modified to be smaller.
One thing I look forward to doing in Starfield is traversing some alien planet late in the evening and explore for hours until I reach a scenic spot and gaze upon the starry sky and lose myself in the beauty and quiet ambience of it all as I ponder my place in this universe.
