ZETTO:

favorite thing about them: when i was a kid the kirb/zetto twist did genuinely make me insane. in a good way. i think hes a really fascinating character in his like...Mentality Switches between personas yk. guy whos a jerk in a funny way vs guy who just actually sucks

least favorite thing about them: honestly i wish it was just made more clear during like episode zero or smth what his stance in sofdti as like....a living thang was? not that it would matter much in the grand scheme of his development but idk kizuna said some SHIT yk

favorite line: id probably say like...a lot of stuff from the nylocke battle in the gemini tournament. absolute lowest point of that guy its really interesting. (obligatory MY ARM AAAAAGHHHHH mention purely because holy shit he was screaming)

brotp: HIM AND GAMESOFT oh my godd them together. aughh. the only two guys who Know the guys who can talk abt shit and he can be sad. solace in understanding and so on

otp: i know its basic but like....alphazet mannn. everything abt the two of them was PAINFULLY gay and its honestly kind of funny kirb (the guy not the character) didnt notice. runner up is him and nylocke becahse i just think they are silly and funny

notp: i dont really have anyone with him that i actively LOATHE but i think its probbably him and kizuna. putting my personal gay zetto hc aside i think theyd both be wayy too codependent unless they got like. therapy. i know a lot of what ive been saying so far makes it sound like i hate kizuna but i dont i PROMISE

random headcanon: i feel like postseries hed find a way to set gs up with a virtual machine desktop of her own so her knowledge of the world can extend beyond what she knows in tome. they spend time bonding over computer science n junk :)

unpopular opinion: im honestly never good at this part but as an adult with better drawing skills now...i actually like drawing his hair

favorite thing about them: REALLY underrated secondary antagonist, interesting moral code, she has insane girlie guilt over her actions that doesnt get explored enough.....and shes a kitty cat :)

least favorite thing about them: her arc in the original series was like...a little inconclusive? i wish she couldve come to terms with sofdtis sentience and whatnot. the trajectory of a2z is changing her in a way im really liking so far though! im excited to see where she goes

favorite line: that whole rant at the tail end of the series where shes just like. a bunch of people she cared about almost died and she was freaking the fuck out. it hurts....i love her she needs THERAPYY

brotp: she doesnt get to interact with too many characters during the series but in my perfect world i think shed be chill with demonking. dont question my madness i know im right

otp: re the previous answer she doesnt interact with a lot of characters, on this note Especially im hesitant to give a definitive answer but i think if her parallels with flamey were more explored...in my perfect world.........theyd work so spicily

notp: same as zetto but also tacking gs onto this. less out of kizunas ability to see her as a person currently and more that in the future if/when she does end up coming around i do feel like gs would still be hurt by it. theyd be buddies tho:)

random headcanon: with the rpg version of tigerlily i sometimes wish that series kizuna had like...a secret lil roleplay presence. not necessarily on tome itself but she has to cool of SOMEHOW right. she made an anime catgirl avatar i KNOW she has thoughts about that shit

unpopular opinion about them: kizuna is probably the most divisive character ive done for this so far...all i can really say is like...i joke about supporting womens wrongs and stuff but i think introspectively she does have a lot of potential as a character that we dont see a lot of because most of the scenes with her are from zettos perspective. AGAIN tho im reallly liking where a2z is taking her so far i hope i get more scraps

this one's arguable for Sure but i think it's just. the virus itself. not even in the form of kajet, just like. by itself. it's such a fucking interesting and upsetting concept to me; a conscious being that exists soley because of and for pain/suffering. it's forced to feed itself on suffering to survive and even risks it's own existence trying to do so, it's whole fucking world is Hurt in every sense of the word and it's desperate to exist. the virus is unnerving and uncomfortable and obsessive and violent and volatile and i love it for that; i think it makes for some excellent psychological horror.

at the beginning of the campaign, she would say justice. that would be a lie, and it would be easy to tell that it was a lie if you were looking, but. that’s what she’d say. balance is important, and that’s what justice is. but it’s mercy, it’s always been mercy. she doesn’t want people to be hurt. she doesn’t want to be the cause of anyone’s anguish, not really.

how would they describe their party members?

d’nou is... interesting. he seems sweet! really! and he worships a really cool goddess who anthe considered reaching out to herself! but he also just seems... basically, anthe thinks the amount of charisma he has is suspicious. what are you hiding? what made you into what you are? but overall. she likes him. she’s just emotionally in a garbage place right now, so “new friends” is like. not an easy thing.

nev. anthe’s a lesbian. would you believe it. she loves nev, loves nev so fucking much that she wants to scream it to the sky. but she won’t, because she’s not very much the yelling type. nev is so fascinating and anthe really, really wants to help her work through her feelings, and realize that the work is not any less important than helping others. she also wants to kiss nev a lot more and travel with her for a long, long time.

veil: suspicious but interesting! kind of the strong, silent type, but sentient weapons are really concerning, is the thing? after knifegate, especially, anthe just. doesn’t want this perfectly lovely tiefling she just met to go to hell or whatever. she does kind of want to bond with veil a bit!!! but again, new friends are not... easy for anthe, especially right now.

vic is her BOY, like that’s her BOY. again. if we factor in half-orc aging and halfling aging, vic is technically more mature than her, but that’s her fucking baby brother, is the thing. she wants to help him heal! she wants to see him comfortable in himself, and comfortable in an identity that is not just protecting someone else! she’s worked on it, she understands, and now, she just--she wants to help him. god.

(fabian is still deep in the clutches of comphet at this point and wants so, so badly to prove himself as competent of a wizard as his father, even though his school of magic is divination instead of chronomancy.)

Nev used to sleep on her back for the most part because that was what was best for her lower back!! she has magic tats on her antlers! they glow :D. and she wasn’t alone, she had rhubarb. duh. she feels weird about altering her body in general... i think she kind of wants more tattoos, but, uh. yeah. she’s not a full person, so is her body really her own? she can justify the glowing ones because they’re helpful and removable and she doesn’t think she’d mind them if she was still herself.

sooo opinions haven’t changed! she likes them! but.

deliverance: admirable and kind. she just seems to have her shit together in a way that nobody envies... she’s a dang person. she’s got her shit together. and she also makes potions, which fucking RULES.

ibis: she likes ibis a lot. nobody is just very drawn to ibis; i don’t know why, but... she feels like they’re important. she likes knowing about the sword. she likes being able to keep a secret with somebody else. yeah.

silas: study buddy! they’re wizards together, and it’s great. she thinks that they’re funny and strange and curious, and she likes that a lot. yeah. just a cool friend!

tobu: a baby boy. like fully... a baby boy. she’s worried about him--while she doesn’t think her mom is evil, she does think that... what was done to him because of her mom, that’s awful. that’s terrible. he’s just a sweet kid. yeah.

thinkin about what ragh's class swap would be.... obviously his class relates to his background on the owlbears but like. in my dreams I like to think of sorcerer, wizard, or warlock ragh.... sorcerer from being in the presence of the gem in his mom, wizard from wanting to learn about the gem in his mom and the implications of shit like that, or warlock to think about a swapped version of his fucked up relationship with daybreak... thots?

god I LOVE the implications of warlock ragh I really do. duskquil’s class swap au part 2 has ragh as a necromancy wizard and this is big brained for MANY reasons. I like to think that since fabian is a wizard in this au, bill seacaster is aguefort or something like that and I [SPOILERS] simply can’t see bill sacrificing himself to save the lives of two random freshmen who die in a corn battle on the first day. because kristen was extremely critical to the harvestmen’s plans, daybreak would have had ragh bring kristen back to life (and gorgug as well just to keep up appearances). 

second reason is if ragh is a necromancy wizard… zayn darkshadow would be a jock ghost. boyfriends perhaps
