Cersei Lannister in A Game of Thrones (Created 30.06.2022)
Feast in Winterfell:
She was as beautiful as men said. A jeweled tiara gleamed amidst her long golden hair, its emeralds a perfect match for the green of her eyes.
Breakfast with Jaime:
Twins, male and female. They looked very much the part this morning. Both had chosen a deep green that matched their eyes. Their blond curls were all a fashionable tumble, and gold ornaments shone at wrists and fingers and throats.
(Tourney?) Feast:
The queen's face was a mask, so bloodless that it might have been sculpted from snow. She rose from the table, gathered her skirts around her, and stormed off in silence, servants trailing behind.
Meeting Wounded Ned:
Cersei Lannister entered behind him, a jeweled tiara in her hair.
Neds Hearing:
The queen wore a gown of sea-green silk, trimmed with Myrish lace as pale as foam. On her finger was a golden ring with an emerald the size of a pigeon's egg, on her head a matching tiara.
Sansa before the Council:
All of them were clad in black, she realized with a feeling of dread. Mourning clothes …
The queen wore a high-collared black silk gown, with a hundred dark red rubies sewn into her bodice, covering her from neck to bosom. They were cut in the shape of teardrops, as if the queen were weeping blood.
Neds Execution:
His queen mother stood beside him in a black mourning gown slashed with crimson, a veil of black diamonds in her hair.

Homestyle Breakfast
Title: Homestyle Breakfast
Author: starshineinmyheart
Original Imagine Link: Imagine making Sam and Dean chocolate chip pancakes for breakfast at the bunker.
Warnings: none
Word Count: 1794
Fic:
Another late night on the road. It was Sam’s turn to drive us home. I’ve been navigating while Dean sleeps in the backseat. I couldn’t take the smell of fast food in the car so I rolled the window down.
“Are you okay over there?” Sam shoots a concerned look my way. “You know he won’t forgive you if you throw up in here.”
I crack a smile. “Yeah I’m not sick. I just needed some fresh air. I’m just not used to eating out all the time. At least not at the places we’ve been stopping at.”
“I get it. He still looks at me funny when I try to order healthy. It’s like comfort food for Dean. He eats and then sleeps.”
I look behind me to see Dean sleeping peacefully. I find it amusing how easily he sleeps in the car. I’ve lived with the boys for a few weeks now after they saved me on a hunt. I tried to go back to a normal life but how can you once you find out that monsters are real? My life just seemed like a lie. My friends were so ignorant to the world around us; their problems trivial. So, after about a month of trying to be normal, I reached out to Sam and asked if I could stay with them. He was much more excited about it than Dean was. When I showed up, I had a backpack and a duffel bag. I didn’t want to impose any more than I already was. Sam showed me to my room and let me get settled in. Since I didn’t have much, it didn’t take long. When I was done, I figured I’d go and find Sam and Dean to thank them for taking me in.
I found them whispering in the kitchen. “How could you just let her stay here, Sam? She’s not a hunter. She can’t come with us on the job. She’s just gonna be a bored girl who should be out there living a normal life.”
Thankfully, Sam was on my side. “Dean, she tried to live a normal life. But she’s not normal. We rescued her from a vampire. She had questions that nobody else could answer. When she asked to come live with us, of course I said yes. Plus, we could use a woman around here.”
Dean looked shocked. “Are you serious? We don’t need a woman around here! What makes you say that?”
Sam chuckled. “Dean, just give her a chance. She may just surprise you.”
I chose that moment to walk into the kitchen. “Hey. I’m all settled in.”
Sam smiled at me. “Great! You remember Dean, right?”
I walk over to shake his hand. “Of course. Thank you for letting me stay here. Both of you. I’ll do my best to earn my keep around here.”
Dean shook my hand and began to walk away. “You’re welcome kid. We were about to go grab some grub. You hungry?” I nodded enthusiastically as we all headed for the door.
It didn’t seem that long ago but upon reflection, we’d been going on adventures together for a while now. I’ve learned so much from the guys but it was all about hunting. I didn’t know that much about them on a personal level. I decided to change that.
“Sam, with all the time traveling and working, how much time do you guys actually spend in the bunker. I mean, in the past few weeks alone, I think we’ve spent more time on the road than at home.”
He looked over at me sympathetically. “That’s how this job is sometimes. We can go for weeks at a time constantly working or we will have weeks of down time. Honestly, the down time is usually spent healing our wounds from the last job. We came out of this last one pretty good.”
He wasn’t wrong. I walked out with a busted lip. Dean got some bruised ribs. Sam ended up with a bloody nose and black eye. The last job left us much worse. I couldn’t wait to get back to the bunker and get a shower and some shut eye. But there was still one thing that bothered me. “Sam, what is it about me that Dean doesn’t like? I’ve tried everything I can think of to get him to like me. I try to clean and cook. I’ve even worked on my sparring so that I can help out on hunts. I just don’t know what else to do.”
He sighed. “Dean is a complicated man. He’s lost so many people. We both have. Having you around kind of stirs up pain from the reminders of everybody gone. When we were growing up on the road, he would do his best to take care of me. There was one thing that we never got a lot of: home cooked meals. Even now, we eat out more than we eat in. We’re just never home long enough to cook. That and we’re not usually in great condition to want to cook. All in all, you’ve really just got to give him time. He’ll warm up to you just like I have.” He reached over and grabbed my hand sympathetically. “Go ahead and get some sleep. We’ll be home in a few hours. I’ll be alright.”
I decided to take his advice. Curled up in the front seat, I began to drift off to sleep with a new plan forming in my mind.
We got back to the bunker around 5 AM. Sam and a half-asleep Dean bid me goodnight as we all took off to bed. I knew the boys would sleep til about 11 so I would be able to get a bit more sleep before I put my plan into action.
I finally got up around 9 and quietly got dressed. I wanted this to be perfect. I couldn’t remember a time when we ate breakfast at home rather than going out for breakfast. I made my way upstairs to assess what ingredients we had in the kitchen. Sam was right. Since we’re gone about half the time, there may not be anything to work with. Thankfully, what I planned was going to be easy even if I had to buy everything. I didn’t find much in the kitchen so I just headed to the local grocery store.
I was gone for about an hour and my car was loaded with groceries. I had a lot to do and not a lot of time to do it. I grabbed as much as I could from the car and headed into the kitchen. I grabbed a skillet and immediately started to fry up as much bacon as I could fit in the pan. There’s one thing I’ve learned about Dean: that man loves his bacon. While the bacon cooked, I ran back to the car to unload the rest of the groceries. Time was running out. I didn’t want my surprise to be ruined.
After cooking the bacon, I cooked sausage, eggs, and hash browns. I was quickly trying to make the batter for the finishing touch: chocolate chip pancakes. In between cooking with the skillet, I was cutting and peeling various fruits I bought to make a nice fruit salad for Sam. These guys took me in so this was the least I could do for them. I heard footsteps coming from down the hall just as I was flipping the last of the pancakes.
“Come on Sam! I don’t know what’s going on but it smells delicious.” That alone brought a smile to my face. Maybe my plan was going to work after all. The looks on their faces when they entered the room confirmed it.
“What’s all this?” Sam asked, surprised.
“Well, I thought about what you said last night Sam. It occurred to me that maybe me going a little further and making a big home style breakfast would be nice for you.” I motioned to the 2 chairs across from me. “Come in and have a seat. It’s almost ready.”
Dean could hardly contain the excitement on his face. “This is really awesome of you. I’ve gotta say that this smells amazing.” He was trying to peek around me to see what all I had cooked. “What did you make?”
I let a coy smile cross my lips. “Now that would ruin the surprise, Dean. I realized that I never properly thanked you and Sam for making room for me on the team and in the bunker. So, this is how I’m expressing my thanks. Besides, eating out all the time is making me sick. I thought this would be a nice change of pace for you.” I started setting out all of the food that I had made. I watched their eyes grow in surprise.
I think Sam was the most surprised. “When did you have time to make all this? It must have taken hours.” His expression softened when I put out the fruit salad. “You didn’t.”
“Oh, but I did. I thought you’d appreciate this as a break from all the fast food we’ve been eating. Are you guys ready for the big surprise?”
Dean perked up. “There’s more?!”
I couldn’t contain my laughter. “Of course! No home cooked breakfast would be complete without these.” I laid out a large stack of chocolate chip pancakes. “Chocolate chip pancakes made from scratch.”
Both Sam and Dean ogled the food before them. As I grabbed plates, drinks, and silverware, Dean began to speak. “Look, I know that I haven’t been very accepting of you. I’m sorry about that. Opening up to people is hard in our line of work. But this is the nicest thing that anyone has done for us in a long time. I know you’ve been working hard too. You’re an amazing hunter for someone who is still new. I’m sorry that I’ve been so cold towards you. Thank you for all of this and everything you’ve done.”
I smiled softly as I sat down across from them. “Come on Dean. No chick flick moments. I’m happy to do this for you guys. Now, dig in before it gets cold.” They certainly didn’t need to be told twice. I sat back and watched them for a moment. Dean couldn’t help himself. He was stuffing bacon in his mouth between bites of everything else. Sam tried to show more restraint until he saw me watching. Then he started to dig in as much as Dean. I couldn’t be happier. Dean had accepted me as part of the team. They at least were grateful for not having to eat out again. I was grateful for a family.
