Just consider this fluff and forgive me if you see any mistakes!

TIGHNARI could without doubt feel you staring millions or even dozens of holes into his back yet chose to ignore it. Why you may ask? He loves you without doubt and don’t get him wrong because he isn’t upset with you or anything however..he needs to finish this report. He recently found a new plant that had affects that makes you hallucinate but could also be a tad bit dreadful to anyone who doesn’t have at least a good amount of tolerance to toxins. Enough about that though.

Your face looks calm but your tail and ears clearly betray you to say otherwise. I mean you had every reason to be upset with him! Even after he has the nerve to scold everyone else about their health he isn’t doing quite as well when it comes to taking care of himself. It’s like just going against his own words.

Tighnari hasn’t eaten a decent meal since morning, didn’t even take a nap or even bothered to go outside. Sitting at his desk for hours on end while only drinking a cup of water before getting back to work! You could obviously see how he was struggling not to doze off which has surprised you..how isn’t he asleep yet??

Your tails still impatiently waving behind you as you do no job to conceal the aura around you that basically screams “trust you will be dealt with”.

How could tighnari be so cruel as to neglect you and everyone else for the day? It really made you wonder if the work in front of him was more important than his lovely spouse. No matter how snarky and cheeky he gets you couldn’t take it anymore! Quickly getting up from your shared bed to pull his chair back and grabbing his pen with one of your tails and you wrap another one around his hand. Irritation basically oozing from your dissatisfied face.

Surely that was enough to snap him back to reality from that little world. Now realizing the situation he is in Toghnari’s only thought is to submit to you. For one he is way too tired to carry on and two when you get like this it’s quite hard to get you to calm down.

“Love are you by any chance perhaps..u-” Cutting his sentence short you dragged him over to the bed pushing his back first into the soft cushions.

“Oh so you now want to point out the elephant in the room?”

He found it in himself to chuckle a bit at your response. “You’ve been worrying everyone even when you didn’t come for patrol you fool, not to mention collie too! I had to assure her every second of the day that you were perfectly fine.”

You continued to scold him but he was well aware that this is what was coming for him in the end. Halfway through you realized tighnari’s ears were pressed against his head while as his eyes slowly started to close. “Mhh..how about we talk about this in the morning?..’m quite tired..” With the last of his strength he gently but securely wrapped his arms around your waist pulling you down along with him. Which resulted with your head on his chest listening to his calming heart beat almost as if it was second nature.

Peppering his face in kisses once realizing he was asleep, reaching out to turn off the small light you both had next to your bed. And getting comfortable you slowly started to drift off into dream land with your oh so loving husband.

As for the report he was writing? That was tossed somewhere else, something to worry about in the morning. All you could think of was the warmth he had brought you even after being slightly stupid. However what could you do? That was your forest ranger..Tighnari.

🍄 Tighnari! 🍄

Heyo! So, I saw someone I follow with this cute ball-jointed doll with like- MASSIVE ears and it inspired me to draw Tighnari! I think I technically lost a 50/50 for Alhaitham when I first got him, but I remember not being mad about it because…“eh, he’s the same element.”

Jokes aside, I actually really liked Tighnari’s look anyway, for the most part.

So, for my drawing of him, I decided to add some of my own spin to him without making him COMPLETELY unrecognisable!

And here he is!

So, some changes and choices I made are:

I made his skin a bit more tanned, since, he lives in a jungle and is in a nation that has a straight-up DESERT, so it’s only natural he wouldn’t be a pasty bish.

Gave him some gloves with claws attached to the ends (like those weird clawed gardening gloves) in case he has to dig up a plant specimen for research purposes without killing it.

Made his feet more animal-like, sort of giving him a similar deal to Kirara because…I thought it would be cute.

Made his hair and ears more of a mossy green colour than the blue-ish black he has in canon. I just thought this looked nicer and tied him together a bit better because it matches his tail.

Changed his outfit so the hoodie and under-layer were SYMMETRICAL, I have no idea why but the asymmetry of the original design would annoy me sometimes, so I changed it in my drawing.

At any rate, I hope anyone who sees this likes how I drew Tighnari!

Made a Genshin OC, his name is Vasil (Vas) :)

He may have taken me over 26 hours to complete fully, but I love him very much (and I hope you do too!)

I was scrolling through Genshin Impacts’ Tv Tropes page, and I’ve had an idea about what links all the various vision holders together- why they gained that particular element.

Anemo: they’re chained to the past, it’s less about seeking freedom but rather that the past doesn’t bind them. In most cases it’s a death or trauma (Kazua Kaedhara, Lynette, Wanderer, Xiao) but also things like Tradition (Jean Gunnhilder)

Geo: they’ve made an oath to do something or be something e.g. Noelle- to be a Knight, Albedo- to not be corrupted like Durin, Arrataki Itto- to his gang, Gorou- to protect Watatsumi, Ningguang- do gain wealth.

Hydro: They all present false faces to the world, actors, performers, politicians, Spies: Nilou is a Dancer, Barbra is a Singer, Yelan is The Spy, Ayato is a politician and ninja, Kokomi a revolutionary leader, Childe hides a battle maniac

Dendro: the spreading of wisdom and knowledge for the future- Tighnari studies botany not only for himself but to improve the forest ranges, Baizhu seeks immortality and studies medicines to do so not only for Changsheng and Qiqi but to improve the lives of the people of Liyue.

Cryo: a people who would give everything for what they Love- Eula loves Mondstat and would even sacrifice the love of her family to keep it safe, Diona loves her father and seeks to destroy the wine industry or protect him, Kamisato Ayaka loves her family and clan and sacrifices her own happiness for them, Ganyu loves Liyue and all her time and effort goes into prosperity at the cost of personal connections.

Pyro: all are passionate people but especially towards their favorite topics- Hu Tao: Death, Klee: bombs, Bennett: Adventures, Diluc: death of the Fatui, Yanfei: Law, Lyney: Magic (and the house of Heath)

Electro: this one stumps me but I think it’s Devotion. It’s similar to pyro and cryo but more and less, Razor to the wolves of Wolvendom, Cyno to upholding the laws of Sumeru, Yae Miko to Inazuma and Ei, Keqing to bringing Liyue into a future that doesn’t rely on the divine and can protect itself.

This is just my thoughts though

Modern au! Tighnari x Reader

Of course he was busy on Christmas but what could you do about it? Your beloved one and only TIGHNARI had some extra “important” project he had to finish and wouldn’t let you in the room otherwise. Growing impatient you decided to spend some time with Collei who had just been the right person for situations like this.

She was timid and shy while you were like a older sibling to her. So of course she would try everything in her power to help you out! Well..getting tighnari to open the door wasn’t within her capabilities sadly at all. You could only begin to let your mind wander..was he upset with you? Did something bad happen? You knew he said he was busy but still you it couldn’t be helped.

It was a few hours later when you heard the call of your name by that oh so loving voice you’ve longed for all day. You were originally planning on bringing tighnari out with you in the snow as a matter of fact like every year. It was about 12 PM and Collei had already said her goodbyes and went home.

When he ushered you into the room you were beyond surprise and confusion at the same time. What could he have been working on that could get HIM out of all people nervous to show?

When you walked in you saw not your shared bedroom, but you could of sworn you were in a little cute home fit for a fairy. Blankets, fairy lights and more all for you! The blush on his face was visible to the point it was as red as dilucs hair (yes if you were wondering it was that bad).

“See, I knew you wanted to go outside in the snow bu-’’ his sentence was cut off when you basically jumped on him and squeezed him with those little giggles he adored so much. You were tighnari’s paradise. Something he could have assure him that nothing was completely hopeless. At least with you by his side he feels comfortable and safe.

This Christmas the two of you could have never wished for more !

new to genshin and confused? here's what EVERY character does! || p4 - dendro

Hello! Today's post is installment 4 in my series where I explain every character's kit! I'll be summarizing what every Dendro character does in case you're new, confused, or don't want to spend the time to read and understand every kit.

Previously, I talked about every Cryo, Pyro, and Electro character. I'll link them at the end of this post in case you want to check them out

Before I get into it, I should probably talk about why i'm gonna do this post a little differently. In my opinion, Dendro has a special place in the game. As opposed to other elements, adding a Dendro character into your team turns it into a Dendro team. But if you, for example, add Albedo to a Yoimiya team, it doesn't "become" a Geo team.

So when I talk about a characters roles like I have done in the last installments, i'll instead focus on what they bring to Dendro teams since each Dendro character is often flexible as to which Dendro team they are in

Note: There are some exceptions and some Dendro characters can work in non-Dendro team! I will mention these when they appear

Collei (Support)

❥ Skill: Throws a boomerang that flies out and then returns to you, dealing Dendro damage to any enemy it hits each way. If you trigger a Dendro reaction before it returns, gain a sprout that deals Dendro damage to nearby enemies for a short duration. ❥ Burst: Creates a field that will deal Dendro damage to enemies inside of it for its duration ❥ Roles: Off-field application ❥ Damage scales off of: Attack

Yaoyao (Support)

❥ Skill: Throws Yuegui who will aim radishes at enemies or your own characters if they are below 70% HP. Radishes that hit enemies will deal Dendro damage and radishes that hit your characters will heal them. ❥ Burst: Enters a state that allows her to drop radishes when she moves and that will summon Yueguis (up to 3) at certain intervals. Radishes will both heal and deal damage during the duration. ❥ Roles: Healing, Off-field application ❥ Damage scales off of: Attack ❥ Healing scales off of: HP

Kaveh (On-field application)

❥ Skill: Deals Dendro damage and causes any bloom cores in the AoE of the attack to explode ❥ Burst: Deals Dendro damage and causes any bloom cores in the AoE of the attack to explode. Kaveh will gain a Dendro infusion and the damage of your bloom cores will be increased ❥ Passive: When Kaveh takes damage from bloom/hyperbloom/burgeon, he will heal himself ❥ Roles: On-field application, Bloom teams ❥ Damage scales off of: Attack ❥ Healing scales off of: EM

Kirara (Support)

❥ Skill: Deals Dendro damage and creates a Dendro shield (can be stacked) when tapped. The hold will create a Dendro shield and turns her into a box that allows her to deal Dendro damage to enemies she runs into as well as enhancing her climbing ability ❥ Burst: Deals Dendro damage, then creates mines that explode and deal Dendro damage when enemies hit them ❥ Roles: Shielding ❥ Note: Doesn't apply enough Dendro on her own for a lot of teams but can suffice as the only Dendro unit in some aggravate teams, especially teams where you switch characters a lot ❥ Damage scales off of: Attack ❥ Shield scales off of: HP

Tighnari (DPS/On-field application)

❥ Skill: Deals Dendro damage and creates a field that taunts enemies. He will gain 3 charges of an effect that immediately charges his special charged attack ❥ Burst: Sends out 6 arrows to deal Dendro damage. When they hit, they will deal additional instances of Dendro damage ❥ Charged shot: Deals Dendro damage and creates 4 arrows that automatically track enemies to deal Dendro damage ❥ Roles: Spread DPS ❥ Note: Tighnari has very low field time which makes him work well with characters like Yae Miko whose field time is relatively short but much higher than that of fully off-field characters ❥ Damage scales off of: Attack

Nahida (Literally everything)

❥ Skill: Deals Dendro damage, marks enemies, and connects all marked enemies. At certain intervals, all marked enemies will take Dendro damage when one of takes elemental reaction damage ❥ Burst: Creates a large field and grants you stackable effects based on the number of characters from certain elements in your party. Pyro characters increase damage from her skill's mark, Electro characters decrease the time between mark triggers, and Hydro characters increase the burst's duration. ❥ Roles: Off-field application, Off-field damage, EM buffer ❥ Passive: All characters inside her burst gain EM based on the EM of the character with the highest EM in your party ❥ Damage scales off of: EM and Attack

Alhaitham (DPS/On-field application)

❥ Skill: Rushes forward to deal Dendro damage and gain 1 mirror, gains 2 if he possesses none when the skill is used. Alhaitham will gain a Dendro infusion when he possesses mirrors and his normal attacks will unleash additional Dendro attacks ❥ Burst: Consumes all mirrors and deals 4 instances of Dendro damage along with an additional 2 instances for every mirror consumed. 2s after, he will gain 3/2/1/0 mirrors if 0/1/2/3 mirrors were consumed ❥ Roles: On-field Dendro application, Dendro DPS, On-field in Hyperbloom ❥ Damage scales off of: EM, Attack

Baizhu (Support)

❥ Skill: Sends out a sprite that deal Dendro damage and then returns to heal all of your party members ❥ Burst: Creates a Dendro shield and enters a state that creates a new one every 2.5 seconds. When a shield expires, breaks, or is replaced, it will deal Dendro damage and heal your active character ❥ Roles: Shielding, Healing ❥ Note: One of the best healer choices for Furina, works great even if you aren't playing them in a Dendro team ❥ Damage scales off of: Attack ❥ Shield and healing scale off of: HP

genshin fandom, I desperately need someone to help me understand how exactly do visions work.

I've seen some theories on what qualities must one have to be granted a vision (or in simpler words: what similarities do people who got visions from the same archons have), so here's what I got so far:

Anemo vision is granted to people who either are carefree (like Venti, Sayu, Heizo) or seek freedom in some way (Xiao seeks freedom from his karma & never-ending battle with the remnants of evil gods, Kazuha from the burden of being the descendant of Kaedehara clan, Jean from her duties as acting grand master).

then there's Sucrose on whom we don't have much information, but my guess is that her form of "freedom" is her experiments which she can perform in her own individual way.

Pyro vision is given to people who have a burning passion for something (Xianling's passion for cooking, Bennett's for adventuring, Amber's for flights, Xinyan's for music and so on). I'd also like to notice that most of Pyro characters have a special connection with their parents/ancestors (Diluc with his dad, Hu Tao with her grandfather, Bennett with his "dads" in the guild, Klee with her mother Alice), which can also be a symbol of something old burning so something new can emerge from the ashes.

I am not entirely sure about this one, but Electro visions are given to people who are extraordinary (and not always in a good way). as we all know, after Makoto's death, Baal struggled to find her place in the world, so she locked herself inside her own mind to maintain eternity. she felt like she did not belong in this world, and this feeling seems to be common for electro vision bearers (Fischl is being rejected because of her vivid imagination, Beidou had to leave her village because people associated her with death, Razor doesn't belong in human world and was forced to leave his pack, Kuki is rejected by her family etc). then of course there are just people who are extraordinary in a good way (like Lisa, Sumeru academy's brightest student in 100 years, Yae Miko, who's both a writer & the Guuji of Narukami shrine, and let's not forget that Beidou took down a giant sea monster without having a vision).

Cryo vision is given to people who, like the Tsaritsa (according to Childe), are the soft souls who had to harden themselves. you can also say that cryo characters all had to go through a heartbreaking situation (Diona had to rescue her father during a storm, Kaeya had to fight the person closest to him, Eula had to leave her clan & join the Knights who were rather suspicious of her, Shenhe had to fight the monster to whom her father tried to sacrifice her, Ayaka lost her mother + we can assume that the vision hunt decree also made a number on her).

Geo vision is given to hardworking (Ninguang became a Quixing despite coming from a poor family, Albedo keeps on progressing in alchemy, Noelle works hard to become a knight, Yun Jin practices hard to be an opera singer) people with strong morals/loyal people (Ninguang has dedicated her life to defend Liyue, Gorou — to Watatsumi & it's army, Itto is very protective of his gang).

I don't really have a theory or even opinion of my own on this one, but I've heard people saying that Hydro vision is given to those who value "purity" or have pure intentions (like Barbara singing for people to feel better/dedicating herself to be a healer, Mona aiming to become an astrologist without ever making astrology a tool to make money, Childe working for the Fatui so his family can live happily, Kokomi fighting the war for people's rights, and, from what limited information we have, Nilou dancing to bring people together because she believes that art is something that is for everyone).

we can't say much about Dendro yet, but, considering the fact that Sumeru is the land of knowledge, I'd say that thirst for knowledge is the thing that dendro characters have in common (Baizhu is an outstanding pharmacist, and Tighnari's voice line pretty much sums his opinion on dumb people).
