I am a transcript reader for both tma and tmagp (I don't listen but I read), which means that I pronounce the names so wrong so often.

Basira I pronounced like Melissa bc I misread it (thought her name was Barisa)

It took me until like episode 6 or 7 until I finall pronounced Colin's name right ("Cawlin" and not "Cohlin")

I have absolutely no clue how Gerry's name is pronounced, not one, I go between Jerry and Gary constantly

Lena is also a mystery, but I'm pretty sure it's pronounced "lean-uh" and not "len-uh", I pronounce it "len-uh"

I am just forever cursed with calliope syndrome with the thing that taught me about said calliope syndrome

There's an Archivist (you have to use the capital letter if you want to survive), his name is Jon,sometimes Jonathan and sometimes Jalapeño.

He is also somehow the author of the podcast, and the guy speaking. I don't know how. Nothing feels real anymore.

i’m right and i should say it, but also how has no one done this before me?

obviously gerry would be sarah, and michael would be jareth (they’re both blonde trickster characters who live in and have some level of control over an ever changing maze. please tell me someone else sees my Vision™️)

outside of just that i feel like you could take it a couple different ways:

just a straight up au, no fears or anything just micheal the goblin king and gerry the fantasy loving goth. literally just the plot of labyrinth but dropping these two into sarah and jareth’s places.

more of a fusion, the fears do exist but the labyrinth is either a part of the spiral or just flat out Is the spiral in this universe. bonus points for having gerry learn about the labyrinth and it’s monstrous king from either meeting/reading a statement from sarah herself about a certain red leather bound spiral leitner

is purely self indulgent crack, they watch the movie together and gerry mentions how hot he thinks david bowie is. micheal hears that and spiral logic says “hm, kidnapping and threats in a nearly impossible maze huh? i can do that!”

1 they r magic fear related and look good and well done bcs of that, but he didnt actually get them they just kinda appeared

2 they r SHITTY they r like blown out n wonky n were done by his teenage angstyness in a public bathroom with a sewing needle and not tattoo ink n its a miracle they didnt get infected and the eye was like yeah. this one

just finished season 1 of tma so heres gerard keay as a teenager! i drew him as described in episode 35 "old passages". theres a lot of stuff i wished i had fixed but i wnated to keep the losse sketchy style. took some "artistic license" and gave him eyeliner bc like,,, teenage metalhead,,, i had to,,,
