Do u have any art tips/advice, especially like anything on how you draw figures and faces? I really love your work! I’m trying to get like u bro (and read that last part in a gym bro voice)

how I specifically draw faces and figures is just a result of years of study and emulating various other artists until it’s basically melded into my current way of drawing … I wouldn’t know how to give advice on that😭

ALSO. controversial perhaps but I think as a beginner there’s no harm in tracing art you like (so long as you don’t go around claiming it to be ur own ofc) and trying to freestyle based on that afterwards .. don’t be scared in experimenting on various styles you like ! You’d only be stifling yourself on being stringent on one.

ALSOO life drawing classes helped me a lot with figures but there’s so many sources online for that kind of thing. Something like this is a great way of practicing figures but it’s also timed so u can focus on the important basics and not scrutinise over perfection

BASICALLY it all boils down to a mix of practicing the basics, being inspired by other media, not being afraid of critique but also don’t let it get in the way of like !!! having fun with it !!!! cause that’s what’s essential to creating at the end of the day ☝️🤓

You walk into the gym and suddenly realise that you’ve left your headphones at home. You search your pockets, your backpack, and even think about running back to check your car, but you know they aren’t there.

A guy you’ve seen at the gym a few times looks over at you. He’s huge, a total powerlifter type, and you’ve seen him work out for three or more hours before. He comes over, shakes your hand with a vise like grip. When you tell him your problem, a happy look comes over his dumb face. “I got you, bro!” he says, and pulls a pair of bulky headphones out of his locker. “This is my lucky set, so take care of ‘em, okay bro?”

The headphones are nicer than you expected, with good sound quality and noise cancellation. You’re setting up for your first working set at the bench press when you hear a quiet voice under your music say, “You can go heavier, bro.”

You pause and shake your head. You must have imagined it. Anyway, you can definitely load up a few more plates on the bar.

You pump the reps out like they’re nothing and load more plates, benching harder every time. “Yeah, show off those burly muscles,” whispers a voice in your ear. Did you walk in wearing a shirt? Nah, after your warm up you always rip off the pump cover ASAP to show off your big, sweaty muscles.

“Yeah, gotta be big and horny for Sir.” You hit a few more poses, enjoying the smooth silhouette of your bulked up body in the mirrors. Lifting always gets you horny, and there’s a wet spot forming in your shorts already. You look over at Sir, your powerlifter master, and he nods for you to get back to work. Right! You’re so dumb you sometime forget to do your sets, and you have a lot of lifting to fit into the next three hours before Sir takes you home and lets you fuck him!
