I don’t understand the concept of sex as the natural progression of romance. I understand having sex, I understand how it can be romantic, I just don’t understand how it is seen as the only course that romance takes.
Like love confessions immediately turning to sex is always so ???????? to me. Like ok get it I guess but how did we get here???

I need to write a fic where the reader accidentally sees pro hero Deku genuinely angry for the first time, like a hero mode loud and violent anger, and begins avoiding him. Of course Izuku is devastated, believing not only did he scare a civilian but his crush friend… however the truth is, watching deku so unrestrained in his emotions, turned reader on so bad she fears if she spends more than 5 minutes with the man, she’ll jump him right then and there…

my hot take that will get me screenshotted by 2-3 ianthe bloggers is that griddlehark is actually more toxic than harrianthe. when you think about it both parties can Leave harrianthe eventually even if they'd still have to see each other. The power imbalance just isn't that severe. and I don't even think ianthe wants it to be. I think SHE thinks she wants it to be a sexy power imbalance but when it comes down to it and the moment arrives when harrow would fuck her out of desperation to be safe, ianthe turns away. She doesn't want harrow that way. She wants harrow to forget Gideon so they can be lyctors together forever. She wants to mutually maim each other. I think it's even consensual maiming. harrow broke one of gideon's ribs when gideon tried to leave her!

I love three houses discourse because I'm pretty sure everyone just picks their route based on which house leader they're the most gay for and then tries to defend their pick by pointing out the other sides's war crimes via twitter memes. Reader, all four of them do substantial quantities of war crimes. So many. We're just here because the woman with Issues and a big fuck-off axe said so, and then we gotta justify everything she did in the name of dismantling the class system. I mean, I'm here for that, but you could also try justifying Charm Man uses poison and perfidy to try to stop racism, A Sad Little Meow Meow gives no quarter instead of doing therapy, or the Thicc Pope tries to bring back her mom via human experimentation, depending on your tastes

Oooooh! 💡
Imagine Siren!Reader riding around on the Sumeru crews ship after they've nabbed her, and she all super stressed and worked up because she doesn't trust them yet.
So, in hopes of getting her to settle down, Pirate!Nilou puts on a little show for her (maybe with some members of the crew providing some music for Nilou to groove along to).
Nilou isn’t phased on the slightest when Siren! Reader is hissing and showing off her frills in a threatening manner. If anything, Nilou sees you as a giant, cute, sea puppy who just needs some good girl pets 🥺
Even though Candace has told her that it’s dangerous to go near you right now, Nilou doesn’t listen and just wraps her arms around your neck and snuggles close to you, cooing about how cute you are. Of course, you are too caught off guard by this to do anything, so you just sit there confused while this redhead woman rubs her cheek against you and pats your head.
If you’re still untrusting of the other crew members though, Nilou would definitely put on a little dance show for you! Sirens really, really love musical things, so the tune of Sumerian music is enough to get you entranced and purring, immediately calming down.
Upon seeing how calm you’ve gotten, you get all the good girl pets you want by everyone!

Honestly my personal Shadowzel head canon is that shadowheart is uming and arring about catching strong feelings in a friend with benefits weird situationship because lae'zel doesn't seem to want more, while lae'zel is convinced she is with the love of her life.
This is mostly on Shadowheart for not bothering to work at a cultural barrier but it's also a little on Lae'zel who refuses to use any terms of endearment that aren't in Githyanki, a language she mostly switches to in order to insult people.
