Sukuna gets annoyed every time that he doesn’t hear an 'I love you' come from your mouth before you leave the house. when you return he's in a foul mood and when you ask why he shrugs telling you to 'figure it out yourself'

then you have to go through all the possible things which would have pissed him off (which is almost everything) before realising that you never said those special three words to him today.

you return to him lazing on the couch with a smug grin on your face.

'wipe that shit off your face before you say anything.'

you deadpan. 'i love you kuna.'

'whatever.'

'are you still mad at me for leaving without saying that?'

'i don't care anymore.'

you jump at him with a hug and pepper kisses all over his face until he groans and grumbles. 'get off me woman the fuck's wrong with you?'

'says mr 'i get grumpy every time you leave without saying i love you'

'shut up.'

You refuse to let him sleep on your bed until it’s off incase it rubs off onto your pillow cases. You sit on the counter in your bathroom, taking a warm flannel and wiping it over his eyes.

However, you have to resort to make up remover when it doesn’t budge with just the warm water. You’re scrubbing his face, trying to be gentle but also trying to remove the paint quickly as he’s basically falling asleep while standing up.

You keep having to tap his shoulder gently and say his name every few seconds whenever he sways forward slightly in exhaustion. His hands are resting on your waist, occasionally squeezing subconsciously.

Eventually, the black has pretty much gone. Only dark patches are visible and you’re confident it won’t rub off on your pillow so you let him finally go to bed. He groans from fatigue and latches onto you when you finally join him, falling asleep in seconds.
